We constantly get compliments on the appearance of our home. Samantha was the landscape architect who created the design, and it was amazing to see her lay out the vision. She saved us space in ways I definitely couldn't have conceived of on my own. She said the remodel would be like doubling our living space, and she was right! Scott oversaw the construction from start to finish. He was very attentive and obviously cared about and was fully invested in the success of the project. He had an expertise with plants and gave great guidance to give me the colors I wanted in plants that would work for our space and the SoCal heat. I am constantly smiling at the plants Scott suggested. They are thriving, and I wouldn't change a thing. The crew was respectful, clean and did a beautiful job. It was a long project, but Pacific Outdoor kept their initial timeline. Our main reason for going with Pacific Outdoor was that they were a one-stop shop. They could do everything. They truly delivered, and it is better than we ever imagined! It was so easy to look at their choices and select what we wanted. They had a wide variety of design choices. We replaced most of the grass in the back with their pavers and used the same pavers for our driveway. They look fantastic. We have a neighbor that had Pacific Outdoor build them a firepit that they love. We received great guidance and attention from the full team all along the way. They didn't quit until the project was finished to our satisfaction. I have been very pleased with the results, which have really elevated my enjoyment of my home's outdoor areas. I would also caution anyone considering going with System Pavers to steer clear of those crooks. I wasted thousands of dollars having them do a terrible job on my pool deck, and had to have Pacific rip out their work and fix it. It was an expensive mistake that I hope to save others from repeating. If I had gone with Pacific in the first place, I would have saved lots of money and hassle. I had noticed some settling happening in one corner of the house near the windows and was concerned that there might be an issue. I also wanted to know if there was anything we could do to strengthen the home in case of earthquake. I sent a message to them on Yelp and received contact back within a day. It was easy to schedule an appointment on the phone. Ryan showed up to do a free evaluation. He took a look at everything in the house, the garage, side yard, and crawlspace. He even let my 7 year old son assist him with some of the process while taking measurements. He explained the settling that we had in the house and had a few recommendations that he said were of no real urgent concern. He told me what to look out for in the future as signs that we might need to take remediation steps. Overall, he came across as extremely honest, detail-oriented, earnest guy. One detail to share that I think illustrates something about Ryan. For context, we are a no shoes in the house family. Over the last 5 years, we've had a decent number of contractors come do work in the house. The no-shoes thing is always something I end up either discussing or (more often than not) temporarily ignoring when people come into the house to work. In this case, Ryan had already noticed the row of shoes by the door and my unshod feet and removed his shoes without a word about it before entering our house. I'm pretty sure that's the first time that's ever happened. That attentiveness alone already put him in the 5 star category!

He was responsive and easygoing. Once I selected him for the work, he and the team were able to start within two weeks. I was impressed with the speed and quality of the work. They were all respectful and worked hard. Demo, framing, base laying and compaction, rebar, and then the pour all were done well. A section of one slab cracked overnight, as concrete sometimes does, and Andy immediately offered multiple options to make it right. I elected to have them cut out that sector and repour it, which they did the same day I requested it. I was very happy with the finished product, with Andy's communication, and the price was reasonable for the work. I would highly recommend Andy and his team to anyone looking for residential concrete or paver work.

He was attentive to our needs, and provided a quick and reasonable estimate...so we accepted the quote after assessing a few other questionable estimates from other contractors. We were able to get on his schedule quickly...and the job was completed in four days! Peter and Aaron did most of the work...they, and their support crew, did an incredible job! Our neighbors commented on how good it looks and were so happy with how quickly they worked (so parking was not an issue). We had neighbors, who were out on a walk and saw the BCS sign on our jobsite, tell us about their good experience with BCS. Aaron and Peter were wonderful in handling the potential problem areas of the project, and offered great advice on the best way to resolve the issues. They just completed the project this afternoon, and the finished product way outshines our expectations! The slope improvements (we live on a hill}, and the incorporation of the wall extension to ensure a smooth transition to our front door from the driveway, improved accessibility and obviously increased our property value! The job included removal of an existing stucco wall and a lot of demo work. Mike and his team worked carefully through the process to protect our home as well as the neighboring property. They exceeded my expectations by carefully considering drainage options, and added drains with underground pipe to effectively move water directly out to the front gutter. Michael read the review and reached out with a solution. It was a bit of a compromise - but one that we found acceptable. Michael agreed to power wash the driveway and apply a topical stain that matched the color we were originally expecting. We, in turn, agreed to pay for a sealer - something that would not have been needed if the original concrete had retained its coloring. The resulting driveway is exactly what we wanted. Our yard was…read morea complete mess before they came (with really hard uncomfortable small pebbles, hard dirt along the sides of the house, and wood chips in large spaces making it all kind of unusable). We had about 4 other landscape companies in the area come out first to give us an estimate on our project (Madrone, Pacific Outdoor, Purlieu, Atkinson) and a few of them actually wanted a pricey "design fee" before they would even give us a full/complete estimate. We already knew the basic idea of our design that we wanted, and so an extra design fee did not make any sense for our project. We ended up choosing True Landscape because their pricing was the most reasonable out of the group! Also, their representative George, seemed really committed to the project. He took measurements when he arrived, talked through a design plan, gave us a location to check out some of the landscape products to choose from, and even followed up the next day with some samples. George was also really easy to work with and scheduled/brought out the crew fairly quickly and the project only took about a week! In terms of the redesign, True Landscape installed new pavers, extended out our grass area, set up the drip water system, built a new planter box, and added large pavers and nice rocks around the sides. We are really happy with how it all turned out and our yard looks much more modern now : ).
