They ended the long text with this beautiful sentence: " Failure to read text in entirety / not answer questions may result in job being cancled." If you don't believe me look at the pictures I took from our communication. The worst was that they advertise a cheap price on Uhaul and then increased the price by 120% - CRAZY

Unfortunately, there was a glitch with the buyer's financing only 5 days before closing. It could not be resolved so the deal was terminated. My agent asked his broker, Simone, to review all the documentation to determine if I would be entitled to the buyer's earnest money. Simone really went to bat for me with the buyer's broker. It took her some time and effort but ultimately she prevailed and I was awarded the earnest money. She is the consummate professional and truly knows the real estate business. She and Todd never stopped working on my behalf. I'm very grateful for all they did.

DO NOT RENT A HOME FROM MICHAEL ELLMAN (Chapman Hall Realtors) (The Ellman Group)…read more Michael Ellman tried to raise my rent by $350/month (13% increase) after the lease had already been renewed at only a 3% increase, forced me out because I would only pay what the lease stated, and tried to make me pay for an extra month and a half of rent after I already moved out, and added items to the Move-In/Move-Out checklist after the final walkthrough. I rented a home from Michael Ellman and Yetta Ellman, from 2021-2022. At first, everything was fine. The house needed repairs to the bathroom tile, new door frames upstairs, and a few other issues, but I was happy to work with Michael and Yetta with those items after I had already moved in. I also asked to paint the door from the original baby blue to black, and they agreed. My lease stated that if I didn't hear about a price increase 90 days before renewal, I would automatically renew for a year at a 3% increase. About a week after my lease was renewed, Michael texted me saying that he had made a mistake and should have informed me that the price increase would be $350/month. He threatened to evict me when I told him that I would be going by what the lease stated. After a few conversations back and forth with Michael and Yetta, it was agreed that I would move out on 9/1. I asked to receive a document to sign making this move-out official but never got one until the week before 9/1. When the document did arrive, it said I would have to pay through mid-October. Just because Michael was mad he couldn't find someone to rent the place in time. So even though I was fully moved out on 9/1, he wanted me to pay an additional month and a half. Never have I experienced someone so unprofessional. And to top things off, when we did our final walkthrough, he tried to charge me for bathroom tiles that were broken and documented before I moved in, told me the nails in the door frames from when the workers reframed the doors were my fault, and even added multiple items AFTER I had finished the walkthrough. I have an audio recording of the entire walkthrough to prove this. All in all, they claimed my security deposit, and I'm currently working on legal action to get it back. I should also add that Renee Mayhall of Chapman Hall Realtors was the managing broker for this. She knew all about the breaking of lease and adding of items to the Move-In/Move Out checklist after the final walkthrough. But she did nothing about it.

We sent in a formal signed offer on…read morea short sale and their agent said she was sending it to the bank on the 18th of May and if the offer was submitted to the bank, the bank will only review one offer at a time and either accept or deny the offer well apparently the female agent there didn't send our offer to the bank and two days after she said our offer would be sent to the bank she all of a sudden says "well I'm sorry to say we got the perfect offer and sent it to the bank" now the property shows its pending for the exact same amount we formally submitted! So she has broken the ethics rules set by the Ga. real estate ethics review And professional standards board. And I will be filing a complaint to have this company reviewed and audited by the Ga. Real estate ethics review and professional standards board. And if possible bring suit against them for breach of contract. Don't use this company because they do shady back door deals that defeats the normal home buyer and instead have investors buy the properties that the buyers are looking for. Closing any door for an honest buyer with integrity. This company has no ethics or integrity!
