I text her the pics from the hor spector right after I hung up the anone. At 8:24 on 7/3 l text to see if we were still on since no one had shown up. She said yes, having a meeting and then they will load up the truck and head out. They showed up at 10:10, over 2 hours after what I was told. Asked Tim if the office gave him the pics, he said no. I provided print outs for him. Walked him to the access openings, which are located near the plumbing areas (bathrooms and laundry room). He made a comment that they charge extra for crawling under the house. That made no sense to me and kinda made me upset. I told him that I had an appt at 11:30 and had to leave around 11. I left at 10:45. He called me at 10:54 with a quote. It was over $2,100. I about died! Told him that seemed way too high and I would have my husband call him to go over it. Jeff spoke to him and called me back. He said it seems really high but they are already there and we need to work to be done. So he approved it. I got a call from a lady at their office at 11:15. She said she had listened to my phone calls with the tech and sensed that I was concerned about the price and frustrated. I explained yes, I was already frustrated about the lack of communication about being over 2 hours late. It was now pouring down rain, which the tech mentioned. Wouldn't have been a problem had they been on time. I explained that he wasn't given the pictures of the problems the inspector found. She never apologized for the miscommunication, being late, none of it. She did tell me she could save me 15% off this bill if I joined their membership. I about died, you've got to be kidding me! Why the hell would I call you again?! You'll lower the bill if I join your membership?? So the guys got here at 10:10, left at around 11 to get parts in Sherman. Sherman is about 25 mins from my house. So let's figure they got back around 12:15. At 1:28 he said they were ready to get into the house for the last part, replacing a strainer in the tub. I raced back from Sherman. Got back around 1:50. They were sitting in the truck waiting for me. I explained that the tub was resurfaced and they need to be careful not to damage it. When the tech finished I went into the bathroom and notice some kind of yellow markings or drippings near the drain. I couldn't get them to rub off. I asked the tech about it. He said they didn't do it, must have been there before. I said I know it was not. We don't use that shower much and I am extremely careful with what it gets cleaned with. That went no where, dead silence. He left. So maybe 2.5 hours of work, billed $2,122. Bills says - Remove and replace up to 3' of exposed drain pipe - 2 x $699.00 so $1400. Replace shower drain and trap with access - $529 Materials used were $185. So the materials added up to $185? What did you buy? No breakdown on this. This job should've cost around half this! No breakdown on the bill tells me that! The techs were very nice guys but this company is a rip off. I do not recommend them, nor will I ever call them again. We needed this job completed is the only reason we paid that ridiculous amount of $2,122. Beware if you choose to call this company. This was our first and last experience with them.

My hot water heater in the attic gave up the ghost after 15 years of good service so I got busy and…read moredid my research. I was very pleased to find Legacy Plumbing who clearly had the best reviews for plumbing services in the Dallas area. I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing for any plumbing or water heater installation needs. This is a very professional company what goes out of its way to provide exceptional customer service. There was no sales pitch and no pressure. As I have always said, selecting a reputable company and high-quality equipment is important, but having it installed properly by a team of highly knowledgeable experts is the most important aspect of the job. Jason and his wonderful team did exactly that.
