After my husband died I had to move and happened on a great deal for a house. I got quotes (or attempted to get quotes) from several other companies. Without exception, every other company was SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive than TLCS. I'm not talking a few hundred dollars more either....I'm talking thousands. Additionally, every interaction was amazing. Not only are the people who work in their office friendly and helpful, but so is their after hours answering service. At every turn they make sure that you know they value you as a customer, which simply can not be said for some of the other companies in the area (like Swink....they made sure I felt like they specifically didn't want my business). I really only hope that the next time I need to install a ductless mini-split or central air system I live within their service area...because they are hands down the best!

They were efficient, clean and professional. They very methodically analyzed my heat and air conditioning, wrote a detailed list for me, and explained options very clear and precise, so that I could understand what I was paying for. My heat and air conditioning had leaked for years which had rotted out all of the wood around the unit. I decided since I was changing out the system anyhow to go ahead and move it to a more convenient spot in the house. I would like to insert right here that their carpentry skills equal their heat and air skills. They did everything needed to redirect my system from foundation to the roof, I was very impressed with these guys. I called at 8:00 a.m. in mid May after discovering our A/C had stopped working overnight. I was…read moretold a technician would arrive sometime before 6:00 p.m., but to our surprise he arrived before noon. The service technician, Jammy, was knowledgeable, quickly diagnosed the issue, replaced the faulty part, and had our system running again in less than 45 minutes. We paid the quoted amount (which seemed a little high but everything is these days) and were very pleased with both the service and having cold air again. Unfortunately, the billing experience afterward was confusing and extremely frustrating. Later that afternoon, I received an invoice via email showing a balance that was $120 less than what we had already paid. When my husband called to ask about the discrepancy, he was told we were OVERcharged that morning and that they would send the tech back by to exchange our original check for a new one reflecting the lower amount. The technician never returned to exchange the checks, and two days later our original check was cashed. We called again and was told we would be issued a refund that would be mailed to us (that we never received). The next week we began receiving emails and text messages stating that we owed an additional $120. After MULTIPLE phone calls trying to sort things out and MULTIPLE explanations for all of the discrepancies, I finally spoke with the head of accounts receivable. I was then told that the original invoice had actually UNDERcharged us by approximately 50%, and that the company had decided not to pursue the additional amount because of all the confusion surrounding the billing. The repair itself was excellent, and Jammy provided prompt, professional service. However, the billing process was disorganized and irritating and because of that, we probably will not use again.
