We were greeted with a smile and led to our table. The young man that took care of us was very thorough, friendly and attentive. The most wonderful warm chips were brought to our table along with a black bean dip and good salsa. I ordered the three beef enchiladas. The rice was yellow and the beans were black. There were different sauces on each enchilada and I preferred the red sauce. My friend ordered burritos. The plate came out looking very good and he said they were delicious. Next to the Mexican food truck this may be the best Mexican restaurant in Thomasville. My Coke was refilled quickly and everyone was friendly. The only thing that I noticed is there was a lot of staff and not a lot of customers yet. I would not hesitate to come back. read more

I would recommend. Fast service, clean and great food. The place is also nicely decorated and colorful.

We've been here twice now and will be going back tomorrow night. The building looks like it is going to be a trap for low end Mexican food, but don't be deceived. The food here is really quite good! My only comment about this place is the service. No issues with how we were served, but the staff always seem incredibly miserable. There's no amount of niceties or conversation that seems to cheer them up. I'm not sure what that's about, but the food is good enough for us to drive 40 minutes to eat here! read more

It's not too bad but not the best either. Canned chicken is not my thing. The taste was just so so. The food not even close to authentic. We have eaten at Jalisco down the street and they are much better in every way. So maybe if your stomach is sensitive come here. Better and spicy food go to Jalisco in Thomasville. Came up to Thomasville to run an errand and grabbed some dinner after. This spot was really good again. Hubs got the California burrito and he really enjoyed it. It had fajita chicken, peppers, rice and beans inside. The burrito was topped with queso. The enchiladas sauce alone is worth the drive. I should have gotten an extra side of that sauce. Great find today. Food great, chips warm, beer cold (server may want to offer a glass rather than be asked), prompt service too. My other half had the lunch Special Tacos and I had the Alhambra's Al Pastor (think fajitas). I think my Al Pastor was better but she finished hers and sampled mine. She agreed the Alhambra's was big enough to split for two. Great seasoning and it was broiling hot several minutes after being served with all the trimmings. We see returning soon. If i could rate it lower, i would. Terrible food, terrible service, terrible management. I would not be surprised to see Ranch Grande on Kitchen Nightmares. Chimichanga had no meat, and was undercooked and soggy. Poblano in Chile Relleno was raw, had to use knife to cut, and chicken filling had absolutely no seasoning. read more
