I loved that there were tons of photo opportunities all around the patch, making it easy to capture those picture-perfect autumn memories. The farm stand is adorable and well-stocked, and there's even a little snack shack for treats and drinks. For the kids (and kids at heart), there's a small petting zoo and a fun haunted maze, which added to the whole experience without being overwhelming. One of the best things about this spot is that it's not overly crowded or hectic like a lot of other pumpkin patches, so you can actually relax and enjoy your visit. The prices inside the store are honestly ridiculous. Everything from chips and drinks to toys and basic necessities is marked up to an unreasonable level. Families already spend a lot just to stay at the resort, and once you're there, it feels like you're trapped paying inflated prices for every little thing your kids want or need. There's no consideration for affordability or for the average family trying to give their children a good time without going broke. The laundromat was another huge disappointment. Machines barely worked, several looked out of service, and the area was dirty and poorly maintained. For a family resort where people stay multiple days, that's unacceptable. What makes this frustrating is that the employees themselves are amazing. The staff were friendly, hardworking, patient with guests, and clearly doing the best they can under poor management decisions. The workers deserve far better pay and appreciation because they are the only reason this place still has a positive atmosphere. Management seriously needs to rethink the pricing, maintenance, and overall customer experience instead of treating families like walking wallets. Corporate is a whole bunch of investors. Who think it's OK not to care with families feel like our so they make every soda five dollars and every toy which does not make any sense to top it off. The waterpark is closed and the activity rooms are closed. Still pay full price. Is not family friendly environment do not come unless you have your money and you're willing to spend the least 200 to 300 bucks on extra stuff. Toilet paper, boiling washing, bacon, eggs. Sure enough, dude was slinging a variety of tamales, after coming in from the Modesto area. I just grabbed a couple to try later, which ended up being around dinner for me. The tamales which I ordered were both wrapped in banana leaves. The Pork tamal ($4.00) is a pretty straightforward pork in red sauce, and it did get a bit spicy for me. The receipt describes it as a mole, and I'd label it as a medium. The Chile Relleno tamal ($7.00) is a massive beast with seeded pepper, a firm cheese filling, and something that resembled egg/omelet to me for some reason. It was not spicy, owing to the lack of salsa, yet it was still satisfying overall. Oaxacan Tamales is a nice, affordable spot for tamales which you should consider trying if you happen to run into them at a farmers' market. I'll be sure to try their other menu items if I can.

The stand was run by a single lady who was friendly and answered our questions about all the produce she had out. Lots of the usual - strawberries, apricots, walnuts and more. There were some unusual (at least for me) pieces for sale such as the persimmons. This stand was also significantly bigger than a lot of the others we passed which I assume is due to DePalma being a bit more established. I didn't get anything but I did sample a few pieces of fruit and all were very good and encouraged by the lady running the stand. One of the people in my travel group also got a piece of corn that he ate raw and said it was "very sweet and delicious." It looked good and take his word for it.
