I've always driven by and wanted to stop here, and on my way to a conference in Stockton, I finally did; and I'm so glad I stopped by! It's super easy to hop on and off the freeway, so it barely adds any time to your trip. The shop isn't very big, but it's absolutely packed with all kinds of delicious, well priced nuts; roasted, candied, spicy, seasoned; you name it! They have every variety and size imaginable, for almonds. Beyond the nuts, they also carry unique boutique style goodies like local jams and little trickets. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the shop had that warm, homey feel that makes you want to linger a bit longer. Yogi Bear resort unfortunately it feels more focused on squeezing every dollar possible out of families than actually creating an affordable experience for kids and parents. The prices inside the store are honestly ridiculous. Everything from chips and drinks to toys and basic necessities is marked up to an unreasonable level. Families already spend a lot just to stay at the resort, and once you're there, it feels like you're trapped paying inflated prices for every little thing your kids want or need. There's no consideration for affordability or for the average family trying to give their children a good time without going broke. The laundromat was another huge disappointment. Machines barely worked, several looked out of service, and the area was dirty and poorly maintained. For a family resort where people stay multiple days, that's unacceptable. What makes this frustrating is that the employees themselves are amazing. The staff were friendly, hardworking, patient with guests, and clearly doing the best they can under poor management decisions. The workers deserve far better pay and appreciation because they are the only reason this place still has a positive atmosphere. Management seriously needs to rethink the pricing, maintenance, and overall customer experience instead of treating families like walking wallets. Corporate is a whole bunch of investors. Who think it's OK not to care with families feel like our so they make every soda five dollars and every toy which does not make any sense to top it off. The waterpark is closed and the activity rooms are closed. Still pay full price. Is not family friendly environment do not come unless you have your money and you're willing to spend the least 200 to 300 bucks on extra stuff. Toilet paper, boiling washing, bacon, eggs. You can tell it's establishment is not meant for the consumer or for the children or the parents strictly made for the investors. It's very obvious that all price point it feels like you're in Las Vegas the way they charge you outrageously for things. I'm just a normal guy from Sacramento, California. I live a middle class life. I'm not rich. I only can afford detector family out these things affordable and once we came iTunes scene every toy was $30. After tax, this is a very bad review no stars the service however was excellent. Especially Jennifer. The ground keepers. Everyone was super nice and did their job very well. The establishment itself is very old and poor bathrooms. Look like someone left them to rot for years. Do not use bathrooms. Do not come Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday because waterpark is not open. Yes the swimming pool is open. That's it go to Walmart. Do not buy groceries from this place. I came with five people and met a few more and we're all leaving like reviews. Enjoy your day. I hope this saves you the hassle that I have to go through my family. read more

I love almonds, and Blue Diamond is one of the best brands around. There's a factory right next door to this gift shop, and it's worth a stop if you love nuts (or need to stretch your legs while driving through California). I was disappointed that this shop is not an outlet store. Usually shops right next to a factory are outlets, or have discounted merchandise. Not here. This place has full retail prices. Don't step inside expecting bargains or "seconds." Other than the retail pricing, this place is great! They carry every flavor of Blue Diamond almonds, including hard-to-find spicy pickle, two different super hot pepper flavors (get the spicy ghost pepper), and salt and vinegar. There's a very small candy section with chocolate covered -- you guessed it! -- ALMONDS, including sugar free items. From raw almonds to elaborate Blue Diamond gift sets, this is THE place for all of your nutty gift needs. To round out the offerings, the gift shop sells tons of made in California items like olive oils, spices, local honey, and kitchen decor, with an emphasis on bath products, lotions, and other various goods. I couldn't resist a large jar of almond sugar scrub. I bought a sack full of snacks and other junk for my road trip, and felt slightly better about noshing on healthier treats instead of fast food or a bag of chips. We saw a sign on the 99 and decided to look this place up for a pit stop. So glad we did! Restrooms were clean and employees were friendly. They have a bunch of gift options and a ton of flavors and almond related paraphernalia. I forgot that they made so many flavors! We ended up buying a bunch of gifts for neighbors and friends since almonds are awesome gifts! They had some pretty good deals on wasabi almonds and almond milk so we stocked up on those as well. Overall, this was one of our more productive and fun pit stops on our 99 journey. We did ask if they offered any sort of tours or 'educational' fun facts about their factory and nope... at least not at this location. I think something like that would have been fun for the kids to learn about. Even if its just a wall taking you through their process would have been nice to see. Maybe something they can add later. At least the gifts were great. Didn't know they made super spicy almonds called XTREMES made with ghost peppers, carolina reaper and cayenne. I had to get some. They're tasty! Great stop! read more

It was fun grabbing flavors we've never seen before. I feel this is such a cute little shop! They have a great selection of sugar free/low sugar options. They usually have a wide variety of marked down things such as marinade or sauces. I can occasionally pick up marked down almonds. My current favorite is spicy dill pickle flavored. I highly recommend you trying. read more

I decided to visit the Blue Diamond factory shop. They have every product there in the store and a lot easier than going to the super market and looking for the different products. The prices are a little bit cheaper than going to the super market, but if you want to buy the Blue Diamond the Smokehouse nuts, 2.5pounds, Costco is cheaper. Anyways they have a table pull of sample and more like help yourself. So pretty much I ate a lot of almonds and sampled everything and the lady did not stop me for being a pig. I ended up getting 12 cans of Blue Diamond almonds for a little under $35 dollars. Please note that the prices do not get cheaper the more you buy which is a downside and if you buy the gift box is a more and all you do is you get the cardboard that comes with it. They also have chocolate as well in the almonds. Anyways it is a great place to visit and buy all of the almonds. I ended up spending around $45 dollars since I love their products. read more

We stopped at the factory shop last year and had a good time sampling the different flavors. Our favorites were the low salt and the toasted coconut oven-roasted almonds. Stopped in here to grab some gifts for some friends out of state. It's a small shop, but it has plenty of snacks. I had fun looking at all of the different products available. I was looking for a gift basket, but didn't like the ones they had. I asked if I could replace anything in them, but that wasn't possible. Looking at the prices of the gift basket, I realized it would be easier (and less expensive) to just put together my own. The two ladies working were very nice and helpful when I asked questions. They have a nice sampling of soaps and lotions, gourmet food stuffs(spice mixes, sauces, dressings, etc...), cards, collectibles, and of course, candies made with almonds. I just want to say that this place was very rude to my mom. She had an interview with Denise Horn and was told that she could not have the job because she did not speak fluent English. My mom understands and speaks English but not fluently so she was told she was not going to have her hired. I'm sure there is someone there who can translate the simple instructions to get her going as an Almond sorter. Plus my mom had 3 years of experience from another company.
