Worst car wash I've ever received! Just purchased a brand new vehicle for 60k. Brought it here thinking they were professionals, guess again the scratched my truck to high hell scratches everywhere! I confronted them about this they said well the scratches were prob already there I just couldn't see them cause my truck was dirty. This was the manager telling me this non the less. They use cheap plastic brushes on vehicles. Then cover it up with detailer spray. I'll def be seeking out legal advice on this matter. read more

Came to this place twice: after the first time, my driver seat and passenger seat no longer scoot forward or backward anymore (shame on you), and after the second time the radio control on my steering wheel got fried and doesn't work anymore (shame on me). I spoke with Dave Laurence the Owner today,and was hung up on.My S UV's blue tooth was dislodged. I was trying to explain to him what occurred. Apparently this was something he couldn't understand or was unwilling to care about,after all this wasn't his vehicle. I was told to come in on Monday,so he himself could look at it..After listening to the Condescending and ARROGANT disposition, i will try and fix it myself. That last thing i want is to start my day talking to a rude and sarcastic person who has poor communication skills.. I now see that customer service isn't something they value, I will Never bring any of my cars here again,unless i want to leave with it damaged!!! I've been taking all my vehicles here since 1991 and they could care Less!! I have found a new car wash service. My SUV and 4 other cars look so much better. I would give ZERO stars if I could! I've been a customer for e few years. I generally just get the $5 exterior wash. Not much to complain about. It doesn't do a great job, but it knocks most of the dust and road grime off the car. On Saturday, August 8th, I decided to get a wash. My wife said, why don't you just pay for the unlimited monthly? OK! Unlimited sounds great. So We select the upgraded $24.99 deal, the machine says to hand the receipt to the attendant and they will hand me a card. So we proceed to the wash and try to hand the receipt to the attendant and he says no, the other attendant. ok! we get to the next attendant who tells us to see the guy in the yellow shirt. The guy in the yellow shirt informs me i have to see the cashier! This is getting ridiculous! I go in and the little blond girl behind the counter looks at the receipt like a monkey doing a math problem! she then asks me "what is this?" are you kidding me? she calls the guy in the yellow shirt, he and someone on the phone walk her threw how to do the sale. Then the guy in the yellow shirt informs me that they do not do a card, they have to put a sticker on my car, GREAT! just what I want! so anyway, he puts the sticker on my car. I ask for my receipt back, they inform me that they need to keep the receipt because it has my signature on it. whatever, I'm now already late. so we leave. Today, august 12th(4 days later) I return to get one of my monthly unlimited washes. I pull up as they instructed me to do, but the machine is reading my sticker. The kid working that station informs me that my monthly unlimited wash is expired! what?! its been 4 days! The charge is on my card! I have no receipt because they kept it. and I get no wash! What in the actual ****?! Are you serious? Plus, its not until you purchase the plan that you get receipt that informs you that this is not just for the month, it is recurring. If you would like to cancel, you must do so in writing seven days in advance! WTF?! Ok, if it recurring, how does it expire? I have reached out to talk to a manager, but of course the manager has stepped out.... Avoid this place like the plague! read more

They were in such a hurry to move on to the next car much attention to detail was missed. My car was called out as "ready" however upon getting into my vehicle there was water running down the doors and windows were still wet. THE WORST THING - - THEY SCRATCHED THE DISPLAY ON MY BRAND NEW CAR. I fear that same towel was used on the exterior and I will be finding scratches all over the exterior as well. FML. read more

Don't go here I paid $25 (plus a $2 oversized vehicle charge) for a carwash (with rain x and tire shine) and a vacuum and after they were finished I got my car back and the they did not vacuum the backseat or trunk of my car. I was not expecting my car to shine but for $27 at least be all the way vacuumed especially because I was charged $2 for the oversized vehicle charge. read more

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! Took car in for a detail and when picking up car next day noticed a scratch and tear on my tint on one of my windows. Explained to the supervisor that the damage was not present when i dropped off the car. He refused to offer some kind of money back or even an apology for the damage. I now have to take time out of my schedule and money out of my pocket to get this fixed. To be honest had I just got an honest apology I might have let it go but there attitude and lack of accountability really pissed me off. I've been coming to this car wash for 20 years now, for the most part they do an OK job. I brought my one car in this morning and asked how late will they be open the guy said 12:30. I brought my second car back at 12:10 and it's closed. The manager was there. I told them I was told that they wound be open until 12:30, The manager says were closed. This is what bugs me about the manager, instead of apologizing for the misinformation, they just tell me its closed. I said, I've been coming here for 20 years, I have 5 cars we bring here, Point: it's not like I'm some drive by or that they don't know me. I have a few of my cars on their membership plan. Note: I also use Rancho Car Wash for oil changes. They couldn't care less or apologize, I told them I'm going to cancel my membership, they said the're still open inside, I said good I will go in right now and cancel my membership. I'll take my $2K in business per year and go elsewhere. They are not customer oriented and don't care about their customers, over the years I've seen a few interactions with them and customers, they usually manage to upset the customer. Here's to you Rancho Car Wash a loss of $40K+ in business over the next 20 years. I guess in the big scheme of things they have enough customers that they don't need my money. read more

First time and last time.....paid 23.99 on "super shine" wash. The supervisor tried to deliver my car dirty..after the,rain mud,etc on wheels still muddy...fenders etc dirty and,wiped with what looked like,a dirty rag. Made them rewash and they made me pay addi t ion ten dollars for dressing the fenders etc.....could have had the car detailed for this price. Recommend another car wash if you want a v lean car. First time here and probably last because I was just passing through but they did a fine job on my SUV. They lost a star because they didn't wipe the inside of the doors in the back, something I didn't notice until I left. I paid $39.99 and they vacuumed, washed, Armor All'd the inside and tires. From the moment I stopped in, the salesman who greeted me was very friendly, the casher was hospitable and cheery and their little store was well stocked and tidy. The bathrooms were probably THE cleanest bathrooms I've ever used in a car wash and there are very comfy chairs both inside and outside in the patio while you wait for your car. I may have missed it, but there didn't seem to be disable access to get outside so that was a negative. But all in all, an A+ job, almost as good as my guys in La Mesa. read more

I was extremely disappointed with my car wash. The windows were still dirty, bird poop still on the hood. The interior of the car was the worst part though. Still dust everywhere, the vacuum job was awful. I drive a hatchback and the rear they didn't even touch. 10/10 would not recommend. Paid for a hand wash and apparently whoever took my car to wash put it through the car wash machine so they had to stop the machine and back out my car where the person hopped the side and left two big scratches on my rim! I have NO idea what I was thinking not checking YELP before I spent over $200 on anything!! Really, slap forehead now..... My wife is outa town so I thought I would surprise her and get her car detailed while she was away. Well, the car is cleaner and shinier than when she left, but it is NO WAY worth what I just paid. It got a decent interior shampoo and exterior wash and wax but it was NOT a 'detail'. A detail should be as new as used can be. Not a smudge, not a shadow of former dirt, windows crystal clear except for stone damage of course, door jams and hinges clean, rims without a smudge of brake dust in the corners, this job failed at all of these points and the more time I spend in it, probably the more I will see. I expect with the word 'Detail' a freakin amazingly clean into every corner of the car, yes I know it's expensive, that's why I am kicking myself. Anyone reading this ( and the other terrible reviews) do yourself a favor and get an independant detailers card from a friend. It will be about the same cost, but it will be better, and it should be WAY better. Or you need a new friend. read more

My 9 year old saved up $45 in quarters to take to the fair, we stopped at the car wash for a wash & wax before heading out. My daughter left her little cosmetic bag full of her fair money in the side door behind my window shade. Well, you guessed it we get to the fair and her money is gone, two hours of crying at the fair. One star is too much to give to this car wash, I happen to be in that neighborhood and I decided to get a car wash, when it was done I got in my car and drove off because otherwise I was going to be late picking up my children from school. Is there that I realized the inside if my car barely got vacummed and doors, console, dashboard was all dirty just how I brough it in, after calling and speaking with a manager he kept saying bring it back so we can clean it again, I told him you should have clean it the first time if I go back I will be late to pick up my children, however you don't bring your car to get washed so you can drive around and then bring it back right away. Lesson learned their customer service sucks they have no idea have to do business nor wash cars if I were you I would change jobs. Let me start by making this very clear - If I could give a ZERO to this business I would. We used to frequent this particular wash ( as opposed to the one on Winchester that I take all 4 of my vehicles to EVERY WEEK still - well, until yesterday) And have for over 15 years... We stopped by the alternate location on Rancho Cal yesterday to have a friends husbands truck washed. My friend and I both felt that the car was still DIRTY. We asked 4 times to have different items re- washed. We are NOT picky people... but I could take my hand and run it along the dash and I left a line from the dust ( we had just drove down a dirt road and wanted to clean truck for her husband)... the windows were still dirty.. there was mud on the side mirrors after the wash.. dust all over the car... the "manager" DAVE re vacuumed the vehicle because HE SAW it was not vacuumed. After our 5th request we decided to just call it a day and ask for our money back. They brought the "manager" in who told me... "It's just like taking a shower every day - you HAVE to do the upkeep" well this truck is ALWAYS immaculate! That is why after just driving down a dirt road ONCE we took it in to be washed. When asked for a refund the "manager" told me NO and opened the door as if he was insisting that I was being dismissed. Since we have been customers for OVER 15 years - which DAVE knew since I mentioned a past employee... He rudely said SEE YOU IN ANOTHER 15 YEARS. First - NO YOU WON'T! Second- I want to know.. if my friends 6 foot 6 325 lb husband was asking for a refund WOULD HE HAVE ACTED THE SAME? I think NOT! Third - I will NEVER use either of this OWNER/MANAGERS - DAVE's - car washes EVER again! And LAST - Per DAVE and I quote "this is NOT a detail.. it's a wipe down" which apparently they cannot even get THAT done correctly! If you are a woman - do NOT bother getting your car washed here as you will be spoken to rudely.. and you will be treated horribly - all with a snarky, bad business and rude attitude from the owner of this business. Well, I filed a complaint with the BBB about them scratching my brand new cars leather seat. They sent a claim with the request to pay for the damage, and they completely ignored it. The moral of the story is, they do what they want, the don't take responsibility for their actions, and there's nothing I can do about it. It's unbelievably frustrating. Wow! I have no idea how this place has such low reviews. I just recently sold my car & I can say without a doubt this place got it sold for me. Without the AMAZING detailing it would have never been sold. I had tan interior with stains on every inch of the seats & carpet. It looked brand new when they were finished with it. I was reccomended by a friend who's company gets their work trucks detailed here(Colorado West Construction). They get out the dirt & oil stains from their seats. I had no idea they could get cars so clean. I have no complaints & I will most definitely be back with my new car!! read more
