I attended a football game recently and I have to say that their football stadium was very nice. Everything felt and looks new, seats were comfortable, every seat had a clear view of the field, the restrooms were clean and well made and the snack bar and food choices were awesome! Rancho education is pretty OK but I do not agree with the way they run things. If you're considering sending your child here I would take some extra time to think. especially during your senior year I have had more than one complication with the school. RCHS might look nice on the outside, but it's total shit on the inside. It's an entire social ladder if you're not in any club such as ASB student achievement or dance, it's like they don't even exist. Through four years of rancho I've noticed that student achievement, asb and dance. Kids are more likely to get picked for homecoming or prom court Then other students from different clubs. As for my personal prom experience, the only fun part was shopping and getting dressed. The prom itself was OK. It was hosted in Irvine, but I really didn't appreciate the fact the only thing they fed there was ice cream... ice cream and lemonade for $103 ticket ? y'all greedy.... baby I expected a taco truck with my $103 ticket. I personally feel that the school overcharges students for certain activities for example, when your child enters their senior year, they will be able to participate in things as prom and grad night. I understand tickets will be expensive but charging us $155 for a ticket and then making us bring money to buy our own food is absolutely unacceptable. Most students do not have that type of money and they are making it somewhat impossible for us to enjoy a special moment that we will never get back The only good thing about rancho is it education which is pretty OK not too bad but the environment and the way they handle things I do not like and I'm so glad that I will never have to see the school again. Best school ever. As a guardian, I have been given so much support from this school. My grand daughter's counselor as well as her teachers have given us nothing but a lot of help. If I have any questions they are on top of it. The assistant principal, Jeremy Hansen is amazing. They all care very much. My grand daughter's math teacher stays after school to help students that need the extra help. I find that amazing. This is a great school. read more

I was a student in the so called "amazing school" I had problems with a student and I would go to the office DAILY and tried to resolve this issue I had for 2 months. The office would say they would " help" never did or never try their best. I made a bad choice and got suspended and had a meeting to decide if I was going to stay as a student in the school or not. I got a call that I was not a student there anymore and I felt like they didn't provide no justice towards my part. Everyday I felt tormented, taunted, followed, and this student would push my buttons until I blew up And I felt like Mr. Fuentes wanted me to be gone and the teacher that made the decision weather if I was going to stay or not.I just feel like if you want your child to feel emotionally damage, mentally drained this is the school for you! read more

DIDNT LEARN ANYTHING OTHER THAN STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL. horrible school speaking from experience, i got jumped 2 times because of the fake students spreading false information about me and unfortunately I wasnt the only person who dealt with this, i saw someone get into a fight almost every week, everyone at this school is against each other for some reason and i never understood it, the teachers and staff let this happen all the time and not to mention when i was there my softemore year EVERYONE WAS ON DRUGS, there were people doing lines of coke in the bathroom and smoking actual meth and on campus and you see a lot of weed, they bring drug dogs but they arent trained lol because if they were i feel like the whole swat team shouldve raided that hell of a school i also forgot to mention the teachers here are decent, i only had 2 good teachers, the rest liked to pick favorites and some would just straight up fail me so i gave up in their stupid classes. read more

My daughter has attended this school for three years and LOVES IT!! The academics are top notch. The only concern I have ever ran into was the nepotism on the Volleyball and Cheer teams, other than those two issues I don't have any other complaints regarding Rancho! This school doesn't provide the necessary resources to foster for our kids. The school website is outdated and confusing. How are parents supposed to know how to navigate with such a terrible environment?? The teachers also aren't able to teach the kids well due to "hybrid learning." I really do not like this school. Coming from the experience of a student, this school offers a depressing atmosphere, filled with potheads and trash everywhere. Teachers are the only key here which is pretty important but even some of them can get pretty weird sometimes. I'm honestly very sad at this school and can't wait to graduate. read more

I am so impressed by the principal of this school Cary Willborn. He goes above and beyond for his students! His passion to be a part of EVERY activity or supporter of all RCHS sports is jaw dropping. This review is about Mr.Stevens and NOT the school. I feel as though Mr.Stevens does not meet the full potential a biology teacher should. I have been informed that he tends to make his students watch videos about the lesson rather than teaching it himself. This indicates 0 dedication and laziness. I believe biology is a hard subject to learn and is best taught in class and not on some video where questions can not be asked face to face. Speaking of questions, it has come to my attention that Mr.Stevens advises his students to ask questions because it is important. I agree with him. But then, he goes and makes fun of students who ask a question. That HYPOCRITE. Two reasons why that is ABSURD. He tells his students to ask him questions! So they do like the school abiding citizens they are! And then, he shoots them down for asking these questions. Well, here is my theory. Maybe they ask these questions because they don't understand the less BECAUSE Mr.Stevens has them watch videos rather than having insightful conversations about biology. He's really just bringing this upon himself. If he doesn't want "dumb" questions asked, then maybe, now this is just a thought, maybe he should TEACH them with his WORDS and not some VIDEO he searched cause he's too lazy to actually do the teaching. lets me start by telling you how i sold my home in ontario to meet the boundaries of rchs! and so my son can go to a school that wasn't filled with drugs like chaffey high is, i moved for a better opportunity and a safer foundation for my children, my son is an amazing basketball player , been playing since he was 8yrs old montclair youth knows him extremely well and vina dankes and had chaffey watching hes games at vina, he played for city of rancho and to no surprise he was making a name for himself out there too, referees already knowing hes name coming up to him and giving him props to hes amazing comebacks for hes team, he is amazing to watch , every parent telling him how they were always excited to watch him play. he tries out for rancho high school, and made top 5 on cut 1, there are 2 mandatory cuts! must make both!! 2nd cut comes and they had all the football players come and try out who i may remind you that did not come to 1st cut, the football players were acting disgusting , pushing and hitting and threatening all the other kids!! my son is no punk i told him you stand your ground, but an actual fight broke out , surprise! it was the football players even calling the other kids racist names!!! this was not a good experience with rancho high school and it completely show there favoritism towards the kids who had not been on the 1 st cut, all kids who made top 10 were dropped?? really? wow!! i dont even understand why make them try out if this is the bs there gonna pull, i just know you wont make it far with behavior like this , its karma , i wish this is all that has happened my sons money and personal belongings have been stolen from hes locker and the front lady before you walk down stairs is absolutely rude! i should have kept him in chaffey as bad as it was at least a fair opportunity would have been given, btw no update on hes money or personal belongings that were stolen not even a courtesy call to say sorry we cant help , nothing!! extremely disappointing read more
