I'm not sure it's exactly like riding a bike--but Karen made me feel completely at ease from the start. Kiwi, my horse, was incredibly patient and gentle with me. I swear she knew I needed a little extra TLC! It made the whole experience so enjoyable and stress-free. I even got to do a tiny bit of trotting, which was such a fun bonus. Our lesson was booked for 10 am and she was super excited. We arrived 15 minutes early and watched other kids finish their lessons and no one offered to help or instruct us where to go. Finally a woman asked who we were there for and told her the name and she eventually told us the girl we were booked with wasn't even there that day. After almost 45 minutes of waiting somebody else stepped in and did the lesson for my daughter. Once the lesson began everything was fine but if you don't mind waiting around and no customer service then this is the place for you.

I recently messaged Melissa about some concerns I had with her teaching style. I homeschool my…read moredaughter and from day 1 I told her my daughter is more of a visual learner. Melissa did not take this into account when teaching my daughter. She would give her several verbal cues at one time which would overwhelm my daughter. She also seemed and get irritated and continued to focus on what my daughter was doing wrong and not praising or encouraging what she did correctly. I never received a response from Melissa which is extremely unprofessional. I've also seen her texting on her phone during a session which is very unsafe. I canceled my remaining sessions and will not be returning. I regret spending my funds on this experience since my daughter seems to have zero confidence now.
