The negative reviews are accurate, food is basically, low quality, bulk, cheap mexican food. Salty, with extra salt, rice tastes old and not good, beans out of a can. Out of all our meals only Asada was acceptable. Even salsa, super salty and not fresh or good. No beer variety, I think just bud light on tap. Best Mexican food I've had in Texas. Atmosphere was great, prices were reasonable. My husband ordered fajitas with grilled cactus, and I got a fajita trio with steak/chicken and 3 large shrimp. The serving sizes were excellent and the salsa was amazing. Highly recommend eating here!! read more

The floor was filthy and when they cleaned the tables all the stuff on the floor stayed there. The tablecloth felt kind of sticky but that could have been because it was plastic. I sure hope the kitchen isn't as dirty. The food was good, but not great although large quantity. read more

I used to come here once per week. I've slowed down on the frequency, but I still love coming here. Usually a peaceful place to eat with very friendly staff. You get 2 free margaritas with each meal and they are really good. You can get them on the rocks or frozen. The frozen lime is my go-to. The only minor complaint I might have is that the beans on their fajita meat nachos are a little bland. The nachos are still really good though...but they would go from an 8 out of 10 to 10 out of 10 if they improved the bean flavor. If you like guacamole, order the Guacamole En Vivo! Service was non existent. I was seated, the hostess took my order someone else brought my food and no one checked on me to see if I needed anything else. After I was through eating I waited 7 minutes and no one brought me a ticket so I could pay. Went to the cash register,the hostess added it up on a calculator and took my money. Loved coming here for lunch breaks while I worked in Jacksonville last year! I usually had either the quesadillas or the enchiladas, one of the vegetarian-friendly choices. They were both great dishes! The staff was also very nice & helpful. And the restrooms had at least 2 stalls, so no waiting in a long line just to wash your hands! They also were never too busy when I was there, so it was quiet enough to read while enjoying a meal. read more

Love this place ! I have just moved to Tyler, TX from Houston. Houston has awesome TexMex food, but Tyler seems to be lacking. Overpriced, small servings, and so far, not very good. This place is AWESOME. I had the Enchiladas Verdes. Huge portions. Very well-made. My idea of perfect TexMex. Salsa was warm and good. Let's start with the salsa. It is watery, spicy and served warm. It's actually pretty good which was sort of surprising. The chips were served fresh and hot. As we finished off the basket of chips, our food arrived which was about 15 minutes. We all three had the special for taco Tuesday. 2 tacos with beans and rice for $4.99. You get a healthy portion and everything is super hot. The tacos are well seasoned and come with a nice heap of lettuce, tomatoes and real fresh grated cheddar cheese. I ordered 2 extra soft tacos for a buck each but I didn't need them at all. As a bonus, you can get two margaritas free but we skipped. I think they will sub a couple of drafts if that's more your speed. All in all, we gave this place a two thumbs up. The service was fast, the food was good and the price was well worth it. Every time I have passed by on a Tuesday, the parking lot is completely packed and their is a good reason it is. If you want a great value, stop by. I know we will be back. read more

We were in town to ride the train on my birthday. Love to try local restaurants. Ranch Grande was our choice. We ordered the Xtapa platter. This includes beef, chicken and shrimp on a sizzling fajita platter. We always split dinners because there is so much food. It was awesome.
