We've been sending our son to this location since he was 3 months old (he is 10 months old now) and we appreciate how he is being cared with professionalism and love. We actually sent our son to two other KinderCare locations before coming here, and this center has been the best. Every staffs are always friendly and answers any questions with kindness. We love the size of the infant room, it gives little babies plenty of space to crawl, explore, and play with other friends. This review is way overdue (almost 4 years). I have had the pleasure of being part of this amazing daycare with all three of my children. My son began attending here in 2019. I loved the pictures, videos, and crafts that the teachers sent home. For Christmas, they made drink coasters that we still have today. Unfortunately because of Covid-19 his experiences were cut short and we pulled him out in March of 2020. Whilst in attendance he had many wonderful teachers in the Toddler and Pre-K class. Thank you, Ms. Karla, Ms. Karen, and many others. Fast forward to 2021...Now I have a set of Irish twins (11 months apart). I have one in the infant room and the older one in the Toddler room. The teachers in the infant room: wow what can I say about them. I don't believe there are enough words to express how relieved I am at how easy you made the transition post Covid childcare! Ms. Jereni, Ms. Adriana, Ms. Claudia, and all the other support staff, we truly love you! You are part of our village raising our girls. You have loved them from the very beginning when they were barley 3 months and a year old. Ms. Norma, Ms. Gina, Ms. María Elena: you are very patient and creative when it comes to handling toddlers all day long! The crafts are okay based and there is hands on learning. My girls are inquirers as they are learning through hands on experiences! I've included a few pictures from the app that the center uses. Ms Helia and Ms. Julia are awesome people. They are committed to running a safe, fun, and above all memorable learning environment. They have brought fun dress up days for the students and for the staff. The parent committee is organized and celebrates our teachers at least twice a year. Yes the tuition is more than my mortgage, but you are receiving amazing care. We visited other centers, and it is a night and day difference. Beware: They are a small center and as their name implies, they care for the children of Rancho Los Amigos employees. As a result not that many slots are available for the public. Their waitlist is about 2 years long!!! Something for new parents to keep in mind. We had our daughter enrolled in Rancho from 5 months to 2 years old, and we would have kept her there for as long as possible, but we relocated for work. All of the teachers and the Director Ms Helia and Assistant director Ms Julia are all amazing, truly dedicated to their jobs, taking excellent care of everyone's precious babies. We've toured several daycares and our daughter has now tried out 2 other daycare centers, so by comparison, the Rancho family is an absolute gem and the best. The waitlist was long when we enrolled, but that is just a testament to the high standard of care. (If there is a spot opening up just take it!) They provide updates of food, sleep, diapers/potty and send pictures through the app, which made a new mom like me feel comfortable and reassured. They have daily activities that my daughter loved and she was always happy to go to "school". First and foremost the teachers/staff show so much love for the children and are so welcoming to the parents. I put my son on the waitlist for this center a year and a half ago, at the time they told me there would be availability in June, I called in June and That timeline moved up again. After my recent interaction with the center director, who did not even want to take my child's information to give me an accurate date, I've opted to go with a center with better organization practices in place. Rather than look up the information and give me a date, she proceeded to lecture me on their system and how many factors meant we were still more than a year from being placed.
