I was referred here the first time by the VA due to availability and location. I didn't get more than two months here the first time but at the very least felt some relief with all of my joint issues. Took months to be able to come back and I'm so glad I did. Tyler is amazing, he listens to the patients/clients and understands the pain and challenges I have. He always has a good plan and is considerate if I can't perform an exercise. This review is for my husband's physical therapist, Tyler Kist. Tyler has only been at this facility in Fallbrook for a few months. My husband has been going to him a few times a week since early September after having a full-knee replacement. Tyler is the best! So much to say, this business is trying to get up & running.... short staff, indifferent staff, scheduling difficulties, old run down facilities, equipment problems. I came in for a twisted ankle &, among other things, was put on a blue disk for a rotation exercise. Staff watched while I tore up my knee. I was told I did it wrong. Indeed! I gave up & left. I think Dr. Chis is competent but needs a business manager. Also someone needs to screen therapists instead of hiring a warm body. I cannot believe how much my insurance pays for one session. read more

This is the first time that I've ever done Physical Therapy. Very convenient location. Terrific staff!! They are very busy but still give you the individual attention that you deserve. After a car accident left me with whiplash I needed quite a bit of therapy to work out the deficit in my neck and spine. Alondra and Manny are both very attentive, pay close attention, and are truly empathetic towards their patients. Chris (my physical therapist) is bar none the finest! He's smart, knows his craft and it shows. He cares about the details of treatment while really listening to me when I'm explaining the issues I'm having with pain. With care like this it's easy to trust that he knows what he's doing, in turn freeing up the patient to focus on recovery. Last year I received physical therapy at Rancho PT for a shoulder injury. The therapy was not successful but that was not the fault of the therapist. After months of therapy an MRI showed I had 2 rotator cuff tears and a damaged upper biceps tendon. Therapy was not going to heal that. The care I received there was good and I would give the actual PT at least 4 stars. BUT, I was overcharged on my co-pays. I discovered this while reviewing EOBs and brought it to their attention. Long story short, a year later I have still not received a refund. Today I was told that the check was mailed weeks ago and it was out of their hands. I have not received a check and given all the run-around I have received I have to question the truthfulness of the information. If a check was really mailed then it has obviously been lost, cancel it and write me another one. Send it to the office here in Fallbrook and I'll pick it up. Every encounter with their billing department has been painful and it is truly ridiculous that I have had to wait for a refund for so long and now be told they mailed it and that was it as far as they were concerned. I have since had shoulder surgery and am received my post-surgery PT from another PT office, I'll never go or recommend Rancho PT to anyone. read more

I went to Rancho Physical Therapy for excruciating back pain and was a patient for approximately six months. I'm also a Personal Trainer and Massage Therapist, so I know a little more about the human body than the average patient. Chris Kaplan was my primary therapist, but I also had sessions with Kristian and Kaleb. All three were outstanding. They reduce my pain level and eventually helped me become pain-free while I awaited my nerve ablation procedure. Also, the front desk staff and all the aids were as fantastic as the therapists. The main thing that sets this clinic apart is the level of care and concern they show every patient. It's clear everyone there is in the profession because they want to help people. read more

Here's an update to my review. Christopher told me that there was no way I could have a rotator cuff tear because I have full range of motion. Guess what? Had an MRI yesterday and I do in fact have a rotator cuff tear. Very unprofessional and ignorant of him. read more

I have had back pain for a long time as well as back 3 back surgeries. When I first came in they were nice and everything. However they had someone shadowing the p.t kind of annoying but whatever that's life. After that I came in many more times thinking I will get the attention I needed from the P.T. Welll I was wrong, every time I came in I had someone "learning" working with me. This was very annoying and irritating as I just wanted to do my work outs and get out. The P.T was very young and always always seemed to be too busy or just over work and ready to leave. I would not suggest this physical therapy just a big waste of my time while they tried to get their ducks in a row. They would always try and just kind over see you and then leave you to do your own thing. Some of the girls in the front were nice some of them had terrible attitudes and didn't make you feel at home. I think they have a lot of work to do getting this place working how it should. Just as a tip I never saw them clean any machine or anything.... read more

This group is wonderful. Every therapist that worked with me was so capable. They helped me with what my doctor ordered. Since that time I have had surgery on my foot. I have to have Physical Therapy for this as after being in a cast for 5 weeks and not allowed to put weight on the foot, I now need to get back to walking normally and get these old muscles back in shape. I choose Rancho Physical Therapy in Fallbrook. When you find a "good thing" why would I go anywhere else? read more
