Looks like Coleman has a fancy restaurant! My parents live in Bangs and the visit here when they want a taste of big city pizza without the big city. I really like how this place is casual enough to wear shorts to, but would also be suitable for a fancy kid-less date night. I couldn't wait to show my husband this restaurant. The only type of restaurant he knows of in the area is Underwood's. Our artichoke dip was pretty standard, nothing too great but the pizzas and wine are what makes this place stand out. This restaurant might be a dime a dozen in dallas, but I'm so happy it's found it's Home in Coleman. It's one of a kind in this part of Texas, so don't miss out. read more

I wish I could give this spot 5 stars but sadly I can't. I have never been to a more racist and unprofessional establishment. I came here Thursday 6/17/21 around 3pm. The place was empty except for another table finishing up. Our hostess sat us down everything was fine. We waited almost 15 mins and no one was taking our order. We asked the hostess since she was the only one around if someone could help take our order. She proceeded to go to the back where the waitress station is located (which you can clearly see by the way) and told the waitress to come serve our table. The waitress she talked to a white female, brown long hair in a braid then looked at my table and clearly told her no. The hostess then got another waiter his name Benjamin (real sweetheart btw) to get our order. In case you don't know I am Hispanic and you can clearly tell I am a person of color. Benjamin was also a poc. You mean to tell me that this waitress was too good to serve my table and she had to send the other poc because she couldn't talk to us? Benjamin tried to explain that she was on her "break" trying to diffuse the situation. However, the waitress in question started cleaning up tables and helping other people who came in, who by the way, were WHITE. So thanks but no thanks yes your pizza was good but I guess you have to be white to enjoy it and get good service. Don't bother coming here if you're not caucasian. read more

We are staying at their sister Airbnb and tried this spot out. The meatballs were excellent and the Wedge salad was great, good bacon and fresh wedge lettuce and a tangy blue cheese dressing with huge chunks of blue cheese. I took my date to Rancho Pizza on a Saturday around lunch, and we shared a burrata cheese appetizer and a 12 inch carne pizza. I also had an iced tea. The fresh burrata cheese was a tasty flavorful treat, served with lightly toasted bread. It was a few ounces for $7. This type of cheese is expensive, so the serving size for this price was about what I expected. My iced tea had an unusual flavor that I could not quite place, perhaps some infusion of fruit. It was not served with a lemon wedge. The limited menu offered six pizza options, all 12", with the phrase "Please No Substitutions" prominently printed. We went with the Carne pizza, the most expensive option on the menu at $20. The wait for the pizza was a bit longer than at must pizza places, but it was obvious that they had one cook and one oven, and we showed up at the busiest time during the lunch crowd. When the pizza arrived, it was hot and tasty. The crushed tomatoes were more enjoyable than typical tomato "sauce", and I particularly enjoyed the prosciutto, not a typical pizza topping. That being said, I should point out that this 12" pizza is NOT covered edge to edge in toppings. It had a thick outer ring of crust, so for someone limiting carbs, this is a bit of a waste. Also, the carne pizza offered fontina cheese instead of mozzarella, and the folks here seem to subscribe to the philosophy that less is more with this cheese. Finally, although three meats are listed on the menu, don't expect a meat-a-thon. I enjoyed my meal, but should warn anyone who prefers a New York style pizza with a heavy dose of mozzarella and over-the-top toppings, this restaurant is probably not for you. I deducted one star for the somewhat stingy amount of toppings considering the $20 cost of this pizza. I deducted another star for the limited selection of sizes and options, and the "No Substitutions" policy written on the menu. Such a policy might be fine at an upscale dining restaurant, but at a "Pizzeria" folks should be able to personalize their order. read more

We were so excited to eat at RP and it did not disappoint! We even had a great chat with the owner and he told us the 72-hour dough they use was perfected by his wife. There is very little for me to say that has not already been said about this place. Me and my girlfriend stopped here on the way to Dallas from San Angelo last weekend, and I'll be telling everyone else making that drive to stop here as well. The inside of this place is totally gorgeous. The staff was great. The pizza was delicious. The beer tap selection, which comes from Eola Schoolhouse Brewery (another place you must stop at if you get the chance) is the best you'll have. Thank goodness there's finally a Really great place to eat on our drives between Austin, TX and Colorado! We had delicious red wine from their winery, burrata mozzarella with truffle oil that was so rich and creamy, a lovely fresh greens salad with a perfect vinegarette and goat cheese and sunflower seeds, and two amazing pizzas- a sausage, crushed red tomato, and calabrian chili one and a "kale yah" that was mostly savory mushrooms and some lightly crunchy kale and plenty of rich white cheddar and parmesan cheese. The interior is beautiful and interesting art to look at while you wait. We all were really happy with everything. They even let us bring our own beer in since they don't serve it! So my husband ran to the gas station across the street to get his grandma a Modelo six-pack, like she wanted. read more

Great place for awesome pizza! The downfall is their customer service. What happened? We have ventured to Coleman since their opening and this year the service has been horrible. Oct: The young lady cooking the pizzas was overwhelmed and pizzas were going on the floor, our peppers were delivered to our table burned. The Greek salad was great! We returned with family this week and the service was the same. We placed our order and wait for an unreasonably amount of time for our salads, and our pizzas are delivered first. The girl claims the kitchen is way backed up and they can't do help it. In addition we also had the peppers again (not burned) but delivered cold. We rec'd our salads with no dressing. The pizzas were re-delivered and they were ok. What's happened to management and training? I hope the service improves as this was a great place for us! read more
