This beautiful place is definitely in the top 5 places we have ever stayed. Larry and Sue are extremely accommodating, helpful, welcoming and a wealth of knowledge of the local area. The Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch has absolutely stunning natural mountain views from every single space every which way you look. It's obvious by that the park was built and owned by true RV enthusiasts that know what RVer's really want and need. A beautiful gated entry to insure safety and security, asphalt road throughput the park, a beautiful club house and patio, large concrete spaces with plenty of room between you and your neighbor, propane fire ring and metal rocking chairs in each site, Full hook ups in every spot with cable tv hook ups as well as free wifi throughout the park (yes free wifi not a extra charge). And yes like most RV Resort style parks they have 10 year RV age limit to insure the safety and integrity of the park but don't worry they just kindly request a picture of your coach if it's over 10 years old. I have an older Motorcoach myself and I am asked for pictures all the time. I do not take offense to this it's just what RV resorts do for their personal insurance. As for size accommodations don't worry. As we all know many parks claim to be big rig friendly but Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch is a true Big Rig friendly resort. With such beauty you will keep your blinds open and still have privacy. With natural mountain beauty from everywhere you look, walking trails and pure serenity we highlight recommend Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch. The home was advertised as a premium property, but what we walked into felt more like someone's neglected second home -- furnished with mismatched items, poorly maintained, and nowhere near worth the price we paid. Here are some of the issues we experienced during our stay: * The oven broke on the first morning, and despite calling at 9:30 AM, no one came until after a second call that evening. * Mattresses were old and uncomfortable * The master bed is not suitable for anyone under 5'4" because it is too high to access safely and no step is provided. The nightstand next to it was about 12" too short to be usable. * Fixtures were grimy and coated in calcium and gunk. * Bath towels were threadbare, closer to dish towels in quality. * Only two thin hot pads in the kitchen -- I actually burned myself using them. * The kitchen was poorly stocked, and many items felt dirty or greasy. There was only one mixing bowl, and we found a bag of rotting avocados in the pantry. * The dishwasher didn't clean, and the instructions said to use vinegar -- which wasn't provided -- so we had to hand-wash everything. * The refrigerator made loud noises one night and kept us awake. * Worst of all, the dryer had no lint trap, with visible internal buildup -- a major fire hazard. * No coffee or side tables in the living room, making it impractical to relax with a drink or play games. * The house was dark and poorly lit, not at all like the bright, welcoming listing photos. * We were not allowed to use the patio heaters, even though they were advertised. When we asked how to turn them on, we got a generic text saying they weren't allowed -- with no explanation. * The yard was completely overgrown and unusable. We had hoped to enjoy the outdoor space but couldn't. We attempted to resolve this directly with Hummingbird Cabins, but their staff told us management could only be contacted by email and offered no timeline or assurance of follow-up. We never received a response to our email. That is not how a professional rental company should operate. We paid for a premium experience and got a substandard one. Until this property is properly cleaned, updated, and made safe, we cannot recommend it -- and we hope the company takes our feedback seriously.

Not the end of the world. The inside of the cabin was supposedly "deep cleaned" but... it was not. The cleaning fee was $200 and nothing was actually clean other than the floors and bathroom. The carpets were nice and vacuumed and the floors seemed swept. That's about it. We were cooking dinner and found many dirty dishes while cooking. We reached for a pot and opened it to find a moldy old steak. We called management but they weren't there because it was around 6 pm. I just wouldn't book with hummingbird again. Noisy water lodge in ruidoso has the best cabins in my opinion. We stay in ruidoso frequently but this was a disappointment. Please clean your cabins better. *i want to add it takes them 15 BUSINESS DAYS to release your deposit you pay. What a joke. I've never seen a 15 day period before a DEPOSIT is released.

The concern that something might go wrong lingered the entire trip. We left the cabin in excellent condition and have a video of the condition it was left in. After our stay the Owner of the cabin left a review stating we had left trash and removed smoke detectors and batteries from the rental. I contacted the host to inquire about the review and offer our proof that what she was saying was untrue. She was unwilling to view the proof we had and investigate further as her information was coming from people she had hired to clean after we left. I reviewed her interactions with other guests when they had less than perfect reviews she has a history of being slanderous towards them. Please save yourself the headache, there are plenty of other places to stay in Ruidoso. Keep this one off of your list.

My Family and my Daughter's family stayed in Sam's Cabin in July of 2018 and had a great time! To…read morea person, everone's reaction upon entering the cabin was "Wow"! It's a rustic but very nice, if not luxurious "cabin", although it's furnished like a home! It has 3 bedrooms including a master bedroom with a master bedroom bathroom. One of the rooms has bunk beds which my kid and grand kids loved! The main bathroom has a massive jacuzzi tub! The kitchen is fantastic and includes granite counter tops, a full size stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and it's fully stocked with everything you need to cook. There's even a full size washer & dryer which came in handy! The cabin is furnished with free WiFi, an HD TV, Blu-Ray Player and a small assortment of DVD's. The TV has some smart features including Netflix. The front porch is great. We spent a nice afternoon from the porch watching the rain. The back yard, and deck are wonderful, as they are furnished with a tables, chairs a fantastic hot tub, and BBQ Grill. The fenced back yard is great for the kids to explore and run around. When we were not out and about doing activities in town and the surrounding area, the cabin was a welcome fully furnished get away to relax, enjoy home cooked meals, play cards, watch TV, get in the hot tub, and even sleep. We made some great memories, including a visit from the local deer which come pretty close. On top of all that my granddaughter left a pair of blue jeans behind and they were kind enough to call me and insisted upon mailing them back. Now that's great customer service. I would definitely recommend this cabin. It' a bit of a windy, uphill drive to the cabin, but well worth it.

The management her name is Janice was wonderful. We are not young and spry and was having some altitude problems so we were needing some help to load after 5 wonderful,nights here. We offered to pay someone to come over and help us. The owner and manager of Best of Ruidoso showed up at noon and helped us load everything. She would not accept a cent for helping us just wanted us to comeback again with our 2 dogs and stay. She is awesome and we were so excited to have found someone that in the future when we decide to go back will request Rivers Bend Cabin through Best of Ruidoso. In fact from now on I will only use Best of Ruidoso. After all both of her sons graduated fromTexas Tech!!! Big plus for us Red Raider fans to support other Red Raiders. I have stayed in several hotels/motels with my work and this was the absolute worst place I have…read moreever stayed. Below are a list of pros and cons to this sham of a lodge. Unfortunately the cons are all things that are advertised and this location failed at OR has advertised and never actually offered. These people seem very nice but will try smooth talk you while stabbing you in the back. Some of the most two-faced property owners I have ever met. Con- 1. Wifi did not work at all (very important to have when you are somewhere new, in the mountains, and can't figure how to get anywhere) 2. There was no TV in the room and when they brought one up, they expected my wife and I to set it up to their network and update it. 3. The Hottub, in out bathroom, did not work and had not been properly chem serviced or had its filter replaced, in quite some time. It was absolute chaos for the maintenance man that didn't know what he was doing to begin with. 4. We were there for a 1 night stay and maintenance was in our room for 4 hours trying to fix that damn hottub. 5. The room temp was in the 90's throughout the night and there was no temp control at all. Even with the windows open... IN DECEMBER... wasn't enough to bring the temp down. Despite the room being so hot, the bathroom stayed in the 50's throughout the night due to the hottub chilling the surrounding air. 6. Our room was connected to the main section of the house so you can hear everything that goes on in the building at all hours. We could hear the owners conversation on the floor below us! 7. No advertised Spa treatments 8. If you have any issues, the owners WILL screen your calls and will refuse to answer. 9. The owner "offered" us a free night in the larger cabin, which he has now revoked. 10. Owner will talk about offering you a refund but it will never actually occur. We got home and Travelocity told us he had refused a partial refund that there was nothing they can do. Pro- 1. Wild Horses that roam the grounds in the mornings. 2. Breakfast served in the shared kitchen If you want to be miserable and lose your hard earned money, stay at this hell-hole. Hope this helps someone have a better stay in Ruidoso than we did.
