August 2014 - We rented Bear Country Cabin for a Friday thru Sunday stay. Checking is 4pm and checkout is 10am. At the last minute, we decided to extend to Monday. They worked with us and extended the trip with no issues. The rental was straight forward and the details of what was expected of us and what was at the cabin was all spelled out ? I got our deposit back about 2 weeks after the trip. The cabin is listed as a 3 bedroom. It has a normal size bedroom downstairs, one large master upstairs and a very small room with a fold out bed. Worked for our son and two GrandKids. Probably not for me and my wife. Master was large and roomy but it is an open air concept? So the balcony is over the living room. If a party is going on downstairs....you'll hear it in the master! The cabin was ok...needs a little TLC if it were mine! Great views of the woods behind the cabin. We had deer in the yard all 4 days. The hot tub is great! Deck has a dining table and bbq grill. Not fancy but very useable. The pool table is on a 1degree slope... Internet kept going down so we resorted to our Verizon MiFi. Lots of parking..we gad three full size cars there. The deck & hot tub are private except for a next door neighbor. Views were great with two hummingbird feeders and lots of birds using them. Location is very convenient to town. Take a backroad to Inn of the Mountains. If it were just the two of us, we'd probably rent again. With two sons plus family & GrandKids, we would probably look for something larger and maybe a little upscale next time. We had a great time. Casinos, eating out, drive up the ski area...and don't bet on Crypthasarrived ( race horse)...you'll loose your $40 bucks! read more

Our planned celebration for my mom's 95th birthday was just a disaster. One bedroom had evidently had large dogs shut in. The smell of urine was so strong your eyes watered. None of the 7 beds downstairs had any bedding. We had chosen this particular cabin - Little Bear Lodge - because all 12 of us would have beds and because of the dog toilet room we had to double up, 40 year old men had to crawl on to the top bunks and mates weren't with mates. The swimming pool and hot tub were a big draw as they were advertised as heated. The heater did not work. They charged us a $400 cleaning fee but expect us to clean before we leave AND haul trash ourselves! Do not go there. If you have to choose sleeping in your car or this, choose your car. It won't be as big an aggravation. read more

We've rented from Hummingbird Cabins before and had a great experience, which makes this recent stay all the more disappointing. The home was advertised as a premium property, but what we walked into felt more like someone's neglected second home -- furnished with mismatched items, poorly maintained, and nowhere near worth the price we paid. Here are some of the issues we experienced during our stay: * The oven broke on the first morning, and despite calling at 9:30 AM, no one came until after a second call that evening. * Mattresses were old and uncomfortable * The master bed is not suitable for anyone under 5'4" because it is too high to access safely and no step is provided. The nightstand next to it was about 12" too short to be usable. * Fixtures were grimy and coated in calcium and gunk. * Bath towels were threadbare, closer to dish towels in quality. * Only two thin hot pads in the kitchen -- I actually burned myself using them. * The kitchen was poorly stocked, and many items felt dirty or greasy. There was only one mixing bowl, and we found a bag of rotting avocados in the pantry. * The dishwasher didn't clean, and the instructions said to use vinegar -- which wasn't provided -- so we had to hand-wash everything. * The refrigerator made loud noises one night and kept us awake. * Worst of all, the dryer had no lint trap, with visible internal buildup -- a major fire hazard. * No coffee or side tables in the living room, making it impractical to relax with a drink or play games. * The house was dark and poorly lit, not at all like the bright, welcoming listing photos. * We were not allowed to use the patio heaters, even though they were advertised. When we asked how to turn them on, we got a generic text saying they weren't allowed -- with no explanation. * The yard was completely overgrown and unusable. We had hoped to enjoy the outdoor space but couldn't. We attempted to resolve this directly with Hummingbird Cabins, but their staff told us management could only be contacted by email and offered no timeline or assurance of follow-up. We never received a response to our email. That is not how a professional rental company should operate. We paid for a premium experience and got a substandard one. Until this property is properly cleaned, updated, and made safe, we cannot recommend it -- and we hope the company takes our feedback seriously. read more

My family stayed at the wild mustang cabin this past weekend. The hot tub was really nice! The front door keypad lock did not work. We had to call and they remotely opened it. Not the end of the world. The inside of the cabin was supposedly "deep cleaned" but... it was not. The cleaning fee was $200 and nothing was actually clean other than the floors and bathroom. The carpets were nice and vacuumed and the floors seemed swept. That's about it. We were cooking dinner and found many dirty dishes while cooking. We reached for a pot and opened it to find a moldy old steak. We called management but they weren't there because it was around 6 pm. I just wouldn't book with hummingbird again. Noisy water lodge in ruidoso has the best cabins in my opinion. We stay in ruidoso frequently but this was a disappointment. Please clean your cabins better. *i want to add it takes them 15 BUSINESS DAYS to release your deposit you pay. What a joke. I've never seen a 15 day period before a DEPOSIT is released. read more

My wife and I stayed in a nice cabin call Touch of Santa Fe. The front entrance inside the cabin had several leaves and other twigs off of the trees. Several dead flies on the counter top. The rest of the cabin was clean! This rental agency is more interested in quantity VS quality. You will have to buy an insurance policy for damages and also give a security deposit of $200 or more. You will have to sign a rental agreement --- 47 different places. (REALLY) I had to ask for my deposit back 3 times and it took over 1 month to get my money. Try Airbnb or VRBO direct and save yourself some pain. read more

On our way from CO to TX we stayed in the Pine Tin Inn. Everything was in good working order. The hot tub was such a treat. We loved how it enclosed for some privacy. The heat was working well. The drive and steps looked to have been cleaned before we arrived. The Dish was under snow but once we found it we cleaned it and all was good. There was no dish soap and as Pine Tin does not have a dishwasher we had to get a tad creative and use shampoo. We did call and let them know so they could improve for the next guest. We loved the funky layout. You walk up the stairs right into the bathroom. I am sure some people would have issues with that but we didn't. We also love the metal lined showers. It gave us an idea of what to do in our cabin. We are very happy with Hummingbird Cabins and both of the cabins we stayed in. We were a repeat customer eight months after our first visit to one of their cabins, the Texas Gambler. We were supposed to get a 10% discount and when I asked him if I booked it, they said they would make sure it would be included.When we arrived, there were not enough towels for all the bathrooms, stain, dishes, towels that smelled like they hadn't been laundered not to mention a leak we had in the kitchen, this was the worst experience ever when I went to their office 24 hours prior to our check out they did not even offer to make it right. They are in the hospitality industry, but I would not recommend renting any of their cabins, as cleanliness is an issue as well as contact information. If anyone is thinking about booking with them, I would run and turn the other way. read more

Our family checked into one of the Hummingbird Cabin Rental's called "Shadow Pond" at 114 Eagle Dr a 2 story simply decorated RENTAL with many problems and some that would be "DISTURBING" to any renter paying TOP DOLLAR for the week for a week vacation at any Cabin/Homes for the week of June 16-23 2019. I want to state we paid TOP DOLLAR for this 4 bedroom two bath on a pond even paying 400.00 a night for just Friday And Saturday alone that week approx 2,000 or more... We were looking for a wonderful much needed vacation that turned into a HORRIBLE experience!!! One that we will never forget. We arrived on Sunday night late in June 16th upon checking in my Fiancee and my Son and myself were settling in... My fiancee and me decided to take the master bedroom downstairs and my Son stayed on the bedroom upstairs we had no other visitors at the time... My fiancee whom I might add is in law enforcement upon opening the dresser drawers to put his clothes in the drawers discovered a white flat plate like made object that on it had a cocaine straw, blunt wrapper with one blunt left in it and several buds of marijuana that had most of the weed taken off of the stems. We were appalled at this how can someone be able to rent let alone not let it be left behind by the cleaning crew...I through it away right away my fiancee WOULDNT TOUCH IT! At that time I was like okay let me look around some more cause I knew some illegal activities had been done in this master bedroom and I felt VERY uncomfortable and much to my disgust there was stains oil based on the comforter that were obviously from sexual activity in the middle and sides of the comforter in the same master bedroom and we even felt UNCOMFORTABLE sleeping on the bed... We took off the comforter IMMEDIATELY!!! I was completely grossed out!!! I couldn't wonder how could ANYONE MISS THOSE TWO DISCUSTING OVERSITES They were apparent to be stains left over from sexual activity in the bed and the cleaning crew had not changed the comforter let alone catch the drug paraphernalia in the drawer where you put your clothes... We were discusted to say the least BUT we were tired from arriving at approx 10:30 at night and a long drive... We took the comforter off and threw the DRUG PARAPHERNALIA AWAY!!! I called property management and complained of the situation but this was the start to many problems to come... One that will be scars I will forever have on my left arm. The ice nor filter water dispenser on the double door refrigerator didn't work in the full amenities kitchen as expected so we were forced to get bottled water after getting sick drinking the faucet water!!!! In addition to that the safety lock was broken on the jacuzzi and it was very torn up on the sides. There excuse to that was that well "not all owners will allow the ice and water dispenser to be used by renters...The double door looked like a newer model to me stainless steel to work for their renters and we were told they shut it off to save money" Sorry but that is "NO EXCUSE" when your paying "TOP DOLLAR" for a vacation and rental and I find "NO EXCUSE FOR DRUG PARAPHERNALIA TO BE LEFT BEHIND" when renting a very high end rental and "PAYING" approx 2,000 or more for a one week stay!!!!! The absolute worst happened when my 75 year old Mother arrived that following Friday June 21st when I went to open I went to open the vertical blinds and pull on the string that opens them up in the bedroom right off the laundry room to the left I wanted to show her the view and was so excited for her visit for the rest of our stay... upon opening the blinds up the HEAVY METAL BLIND HAD NO SAFETY ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND FELL UNTO MY ARM causing major and now PERMANENT SCARRING ON MY LEFT FOREARM ON TOP!!! I called immediately in tears it's like WHAT ELSE can go wrong in your obviously not properly maintained RENTAL you are renting to customers!! I was lucky that I could use arm but the lacerations were deep enough to cause SIGNIFICANT PAIN AND NOW 2 MONTHS LATER SIGNIFICANT SCARRING!!! **I will post pics of injury ** I called management IMMEDIATELY they came out with their so called maintenance man and he fixed the safety on the blinds that WAS MISSING ON RIGHT SIDE ALTOGETHER!!! I will post pics I took of that as well. I told them I would have MY DOC look at it on Monday when I got home! After returning home I was hung up on in regards to my injuries and permanent scarring on my left arm. I might add several cig butts were not picked up in back of property and beer bottles! This place is renting UNSAFE properties and are rude upon you leaving but nice as pie making empty promises to the renters to appease you... My review on Hummingbird cabins was so horrible that I inspected my beds I had blood on my sheets and my comforter had white stains and blood also my gosh my husband picked up the toilet they had a sanitary strip on it there was blood so gross. Then the dishes where dirty. And the showers where dirty the towels weren't washed at all. I called them they always would tell me the managers are at lunch come 2:15pm okay. They they say we will look into it and they don't call you back they blocked my phone number so I can't call them horrible service believe me there rude people. read more

I've stayed at Deer Run multiple times when visiting my parents in Ruidoso. I really love this location. It is tucked in the mountains, but still convenient to town. I don't think it really qualifies as a cabin because it has granite floors in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. There is an enormous rock fire-place in the middle. I guess you could call it "rustic-chique". Deer Run is a three bedroom property and can accommodate a big family. There is a large deck, an enclosed backyard (pet friendly), and there is internet access and Netflix. I think this is a perfect place to come with a group or family. There is a kitchen, with all the needed cooking utensils; plenty of space, the option to grill, etc. It is clean and affordable (rates change according to the season). Whenever we stay in Ruidoso, we choose Deer Run. read more

We stayed in The Sleepy Bear Cabin in Ruidoso. It was wonderful. Lots of space. This would be perfect for two families to share. Our children 13 and 14, LOVED the staircase connecting two of the bedrooms. The hot tub was so relaxing. The location was perfect for us, very close to shopping and dining. I hate leaving negative ratings but I feel my experience was worth sharing. I'm a little afraid of the backlash I may get from the staff since that's what I'm seeing on other comments. Anywho.... Fees are much more than stated online and when I called about that the young lady who answered the phone was argumentative and confrontational. A total of $1300 was withdrawn from my account before my stay arranged for the end of October. Withdrawn more than 30 days from original check in date. Originally the price of rental is $800 and the rest are fees and taxes. Cancelled my reservation and received refund. Rented somewhere else. That's a summary of my issue. Details below.. I had to cancel my reservation due to so many issues. The terms of their rentals are not well represented on there site and also deposit ends up being more than the $200 originally stated. We saw a little over $500 withdrawn from our credit card. This was shocking because we were only expecting $200. Alright, funds are there. Wondering why I hadn't receive a notification of this transaction since I originally authorized only $200. So I decided to call and inquire what the extra amount is. I called on weekend and the call center answered. The young lady spoke in slang and was very hard to understand. Hey I grew up in the hood but this was too heavy for me. I inquired about the amount she verified my information. She said they don't email they send something in the mail and don't worry we're reserved. I obviously wasn't getting anywhere and was left confused and scared that I may be scammed out of money. I decided to call on Monday and spoke to Gavin (I believe that's his name). He explained we didn't receive any notification because the email was entered wrong by my husband. Hmmm, ok I'll take ownership of that. So he forward the info to us. I felt better receiving some validation of rental. This is still after the $500 amount was taken immediately for deposit. I decided we were definitely going and the money is in there,that's not an issue. My husband called me on the 25th of September to let me know they took out an additional $800. Again we did not receive any type of notification of this withdrawal. Our last email received from them was 8/21 with an internal itemized invoice. No explanation of future withdrawals or their business terms. I called and spoke to someone named Wendy who instantly spoke over me and would not let me get a word out. I had to ask her to let me speak. Completely disregarding my concerns of the withdrawal her rebuttal was it wasn't suppose to come out till the 28th and she's not sure why it did she's going to transfer me to Gavin. She did and I got a voicemail. That doesn't help me. I called back and told her that he did not answer. I need to understand why they took out this amount without my authorization. She said they've been sending us emails continuously which did not happen. This makes me think the ball has dropped and they will deflect the problem on the customer instead of taking ownership. We haven't received any emails since 8/21 when I spoke to Gavin and he sent me the invoice. She asked if I would like emails sent to me too since my husbands email is having issues. I agreed. After we hung up I looked at his email history and saw no emails. This all resulted in me deciding to cancel the reservation. It wasn't worth the headache. The money is not the problem, it's the attitude and lack of communication that is. It seems they've been burned a lot before and are very cautious and paranoid about receiving their money. About 2 weeks before they moved us to different cabin, for whatever reason, about a week before we got moved again, a few days before they moved us for the third time to what ended up being several really tiny cabins, we were not aloud to use the pool or ,much of anything. we called upper canyon lodging and explained the situation , the got us a really nice cabin for the whole family. It was stale smelling, full of spiders, creeps honking at us while we were in hot tub, and then we were charged an additional $50 for not filling up the hot tub when we left. Where did it say that? We had a great stay at a very reasonable price, but be sure to read the fine print of the contract and follow directions! You have to take care of the place as each cabin is personally owned by someone. Deposits are high to ensure cooperation, but are returned as long as you take care. If you want a quiet, clean rental with a kitchen, living room, bedrooms, and baths you can't go wrong. If you need a maid picking up after you stay somewhere else. We and another couple spent 4 nights in The Hummingbird at 106 Plumas Place over Labor Day 2012 and had a great stay. Three bedrooms: One king, one queen, and one with two twins and two hall entry full baths. Large living/dining/kitchen with all kitchen necessities provided, plenty of towels, decent sheets, extra sheets and blankets, comfortable beds. Clean and uncluttered with tile floors throughout. Window air in the living/kitchen area but open windows in the bedrooms were enough to cool us off at night. Didn't use the hottub but did use the porch each morning for coffee with the many deer that drop by along with the humming birds. Quiet, quiet, quiet and dark enough to sleep great at night. Definitely off the beaten path but worth the winding route up the hill. In a neighborhood but secluded with a "in the woods" feeling. Plenty of room for a third couple - maybe a 4th if the sofa makes a bed but not sure of that. read more

Do NOT use Hummingbird Cabins as your property management company! Things started out OK with them but quickly went downhill. Very little communication with us as a property owner and they don't return phone calls. We would show up to our home and find stains on the carpet, broken furniture, and beds unmade! Then they charged us for removing broken furniture instead of charging the guest out of their deposit. Multiple charges to our account that were incorrect! Items missing in the home that they did not even notice. Also finding out they didn't clean after a guest left and we had to call them. They got very defensive and cancelled us. What a horrible way to do business! Owner was very rude when we confronted him on all the issues and refused to fix anything. read more

We stayed at a great cabin called Sierra Vista. We were thrilled at what Charles (reservationists) was able to suggest for us. We initially chose a bad cabin. Charles was able to suggest a better choice. We were very happy. Three things that we noticed; 1) Posted cabin photos may not be the most up to date. Please take this into consideration when choosing. 2) Cabins may or may not be visible from one another. Your "private" jacuzzi might be visible to your neighbor. Use the provided GPS google map can show who is or is not close to you. 3) if you are not happy with your cabin, express the issue to hummingbird cabins but be prepared to say what is wrong with the cabin. They are very flexible but your issues should be explainable and reasonable. After our cabin change, we were delighted. The Sierra Vista cabin offered many amenities (recently updated), clean, tastefully decorated and offered an amazing view of the mountain. read more

We loved the cabin itself and enjoyed the location. However, after checking out of our cabin I received an email a few days later that said only $45 of the $75 deoposit would be returned. They claimed that they charged $30 for extra cleaning fees. They charged us for leaving trash in the kitchen trash can!! A single trash can, wtf?! They also said that because they had to wash the two plates in the kitchen sink the fee was charged. The charge was on top of the 95$ cleaning fee that was already charged. We left the cabin very clean and left the trash in the can like anywhere else you would stay. Who requires their guests to empty a trash can after leaving and already charging 95$ for cleaning. How completely ridiculous, we were definitely taken advantage of and will not return. read more

We stayed at the Lone Star Altitude on 1/26-28. I had a $25 deduction off my security deposit because we "didn't take out the trash". To start, we did take out the trash. We left the house/cabin spotless. My wife and I are always very diligent in making sure we leave something better than when we arrived. We travel a lot, and are very clean people. In fact, the only dumpster available near by was down the street. So we loaded all the trash in the car, and took it down the street. I paid a $154 cleaning fee, which is more than adequate for somebody to clean any house in Ruidoso, incuding taking out the trash. (I have friends locally that clean houses for other establishments in Ruidoso.) A SECURITY DEPOSIT should solely be used as such, not for "cleaning", especially when I paid $154 that's non refundable to begin with!!! We not only emailed, but called THREE times to try to talk to somebody about this. Nobody could help and said "we will have the person you need to talk to call you back." And nobody did. 4 attempts to talk to someone and I've gotten nowhere. On top of that, the "how do I HAVE to help you" attitude from the booking person was anything but pleasant. This was my 2nd stay with Hummingbird, and there won't be a third. Shame on me for there even being a 2nd. read more

We have reservations for the weekend after Easter and the company WILL NOT allow us a full refund to cancel our reservation, Due to the city being on fire. We could not even contact them via phone as the power is currently out in Ruidoso, so Air BNB did on our behalf. They said "the power will be on by tomorrow so everything will be back to normal by next week when our stay is" Really? The whole town is being evacuated and they think "everything will be back to normal by next week? What about the air quality? Are businesses going to be open? Can we use the fire pit at the rental? What about the scenery? Don't people go for the beauty of that? It's a shame that companies are so money hungry and won't allow a full refund under such extreme circumstances. We rented Valley View Cabin from 9/27 through 9/29 and there was no heat in the cabin. It was 65 in our cabin and we froze. It was rainy and 50 outside. Maintenance came at 10 a.m. and we had to wait around for them to fix it for an hour. We tried numerous times to contact Management by phone and email but never received any response. We paid over $700 for two nights and find it unacceptable that there was no heat! They have provided the worst customer service ever and have made it clear they do not value customers! My family rented the Grand Elk cabin in Alto, managed by Hummingbird Cabins, during the dates of July 31 - August 2. We have used them several times in the past, which is why we felt confident booking with them again, during a pandemic. When we arrived at 2:30, we called to see if we could go ahead and check-in and were told no because of intensive deep-cleaning that was going on due to the pandemic. So we basically just parked at a roadside stop and waited for an hour and a half until we could get in. My husband mentioned it was a good thing they were cleaning so thoroughly because their website stated they were not enforcing the 14-day quarantine rule for out-of-state guests during the pandemic. If I had known that before we left, I would have asked to cancel the whole trip. But, we were already there, so I sucked it up and hoped for the best. I was literally scared to put my head on the pillow or let the sheets touch me at night. I felt like I could very likely be breathing in COVID cooties because these jokers want to keep bringing in that good ol' Texas money and they know they can't do it if they actually enforce a quarantine. I still have another two weeks to wait and see if I picked up any of those cooties, but what I can tell you is that when I woke up Sunday morning, I was covered in bed bug bites! Literally every area of my skin that was exposed is bitten. It's Tuesday as I write this and I'm covered in calamine, feeling like I need a vacation from my vacation. We did reach out to the management, not for any sort of refund, but to let them know, because they should close that house and not rent it again until it's been fumigated. It's been 24 hours and we still haven't heard anything from Hummingbird. Not an apology, not even an acknowledgment of our inconvenience. I see that they have several poor reviews on Google and here on Yelp. I see that they typically respond to these reviews by blaming the troubles guests have experienced on the guests themselves. My best advice would be to avoid Hummingbird altogether. There are several options for renting cabins in Ruidoso. If you are unable to use any of these, then I would suggest just not going. read more

My family of four, all adults, planned a trip to Ruidoso from 12/23-12/29. This would be the first vacation any of us had taken in over four years so, as you can imagine, we were all very excited. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. In addition to the cost of renting the cabin for six nights ($1,050.00, for the record) we paid a $200.00 security deposit and $146.00 in cleaning fees. To cut down on costs our family drove from Texas to Ruidoso and arrived at the cabin well into the dark of night. We were exhausted upon arrival and were looking forward to getting to sleep quickly. A few things we noted upon entering: the futon had large white stains on the cover, there was a lingering smell (perhaps cigarettes?), the couch was covered with a blue denim slip cover which had clearly been sat on without having been remade and there was a large brown/yellow stain in the living room carpet. We were turned off but we could deal with all this. Further walks through the cabin revealed more cleanliness transgressions: food bits were still sitting in the sink, there were hairs in the tub and showers and the bed sheets/comforters in both rooms were stained with disgusting yellow and white splotches. In one bed there was even a long black hair sitting between the sheets. We removed the bedding in disgust and replaced all of it (unfortunately, there was no detergent provided to wash them.) Despite the original hiccups, we made the most of our trip. Having such a short stay we awoke early to ski every day and returned late each night. We have never been whiners and so we didn't take the time to report these issues...we wanted to enjoy what time we had. In the evening we cooked meals and made the cabin as comfortable as possible by moving the couch closer into the rest of the seating. When leaving the cabin we took all the trash to the dumpsters (we had to get creative here because no trash bags were provided), hand washed as many dishes as we could and then put the remaining dishes in the dishwasher. A note on the kitchen counter stated that dish washing liquid would be provided and to run the dishwasher and put away the dishes before leaving. We scoured the cabin for this mythical dish washing fluid--alas it didn't exist and so we left the dishes in the washer along with a note stating some of the above mentioned problems and the fact that we couldn't wash the remaining dishes because no soap was provided. We went on our merry way. Several weeks after returning to Texas, I received an email from a member of the Hummingbird Cabins staff stating we would be returned our deposit less $50 for our having moved the furniture and not having washed the dishes. I was utterly appalled. Had they not read the note I left at the cabin explaining the circumstances? In addition, why did we pay a cleaning fee if 1) the unit was not clean upon arrival 2) we were going to get charged AGAIN for not having cleaned some dishes? I exchanged several emails with this individual pleading my case and stating that if the $50.00 was not returned then I would be forced to publish our complaints and report their inappropriate business practices to the Better Business Bureau. Upon further "considering" my "request", Hummingbird Cabins refused to return us the $50.00. Imagine my surprise to discover that these same complaints have been brought up against Hummingbird in the past and they don't seem to care. I would have been happy to let this slide if Hummingbird Cabins' respected the input of their customers, however it is clear that this is a company/group of people who fail to understand the value of 1) happy customers who will become repeat customers and 2) positive business practices. I hope this review can save future potential customers from the unfortunate experience my family had with Hummingbird Cabins. read more

Stayed at Shadow Mountain Pond, back porch covered in cob webs, stained or dirty chairs, ottomans, love seat & carpet in master. Had to supply hand soap, batteries for remote, ice & toilet paper. Ant's in kitchen, did call office but wasn't addressed. Tired & dated. read more

Stay clear of this rental agency! My wife and I had rented a property through hummingbird for our wedding venue over a year in advance. With less then a month before the wedding we received an email canceling our reservation due to the owner terminating their contract with them. However after further investigating the contract should of covered our wedding date and still have been honored. Due to some questionable business practices by hummingbird we got the property released to the owner and were able to have our wedding. This business should be ashamed...if I could put no stars I would, save your time and money and look elsewhere. read more

We stayed 5 nights at the Big Sky Lodge offered by Humming Bird Cabins. It was fantastic. The view of the mountain from the hot tub was amazing. As good as the pictures of the house on the website were, the house looked even better in person. The staff at Hummingbird could not have been better. They were very polite and quick with their responses. The house was very clean upon arrival. 5 Stars!!!!! read more

We stayed at The Almost Heaven cabin. The stay was good... Air conditioning wasn't really working. Deer came and visited us. Smaller than the pictures made it look. But overall a great, clean and safe place to stay. read more

Stayed at Bear Paradise & couldn't have asked for more. V nice cabin, great location set back off the road, great wi-fi throughout, place was spotless.. couldn't have asked for more. Had one small issue w hot-tub which turned out to be not what I thought it was however Jeff of Hummingbirds insisted on sending out their hot-tub guy. he was a v nice man, also named Jeff, who was there in literally 10 minutes. Hot tub worked great, never an issue in the first place however the fact that they cared & were so on top of it was v impressive. Also I had a question about the rental while there & emailed Hummingbird. A woman named Barbara, responded to my email question within minutes. Her reply was polite & caring. From our experience, Hummingbird has some v nice rentals & runs everything as smooth & efficient as one could expect. I highly recommend. ps: The deposit fee got returned exactly within the time frame as promised. read more

Our house was perfect. Very clean. Had everything you'd need to "live" while on your little get away. In a great neighbourhood. Felt very safe the local law enforcement monitor the area very regularly. Was far enough you felt secluded and peaceful, but close enough to town that everything was very accessible. At night, and during the day we saw deer and rabbits hanging around. Was nice to have some company on the back porch. Will definitely be returning! read more

The house was beautiful, just like the pictures, The house is conveniently located close to midtown and was very easy to find. The employees at Hummingbird Cabins were professional and very helpful.
