I also go in regularly for dental hygiene with Maria, and am just as happy with her work to keep my teeth looking and feeling healthy! Maria works quickly and I always walk away feeling like I have a new set of teeth. The office is in a beautifully restored Craftsman style house near Highway 101 and also close to Poly. It is clean, calm and relaxing. The front office staff is also attentive and patient. They can navigate the intricacies of billing and scheduling with cheer and ease. Dr. Ian also works on Saturdays, and they can fit you in should you have a dental emergency. They can also recommend specialists in the area if you need further work like dental surgery. The only downside for me is that they are out of my dental insurance provider, but I still get partial reimbursement. I would never go anywhere else because the quality of the work here is worth paying a bit extra for!

From the moment I stepped into the office and every time I visit, I know I am receiving first class treatment: by the ladies at the front desk, the dental hygienists, and Dr Cane. Dental care involves more than just brushing your teeth, and Dr Cane and her staff know this - they are awesome professionals and clearly dedicated to the business of dental health for their patients while maintaining a friendly, relaxed atmosphere: good for their business, good for those of us who need a dental plan that will keep us healthy and happy. Colleran's office is unfortunately one of these places. I was involuntarily subjected to an Invisalign program, that rendered a 3D model of my teeth aligned. It was explained to me by the DDS that my situation is allegedly drastic, and it's incredibly urgent that I pay him 5000$ to align my teeth via Invisalign treatment. There were no alternative methods of treatment offered. Additionally, I have never heard that my teeth were in such severe condition from another dentist before. Frankly, I just don't believe the judgement I received was entirely altruistic. It seems the leading maxim of Colleran's office is making the sale.

Then after 30 min of them talking, they sent me to the desk to schedule a cleaning. The fact that the cleaning was NOT included was not mentioned to me when scheduling and during my appointment. I also checked the website about what to expect from the first appointment, and there was nothing specific about what was included. Instead, it was put on me that I should have asked what was included. I couldn't get a cleaning scheduled until next month due to their availability. The 30 min talk could have been spent on getting my teeth cleaned. The staff seemed nice, but there could have been more transparency around what I was paying for and what was included in the visit. Also, they're out of network, and were very sneaky when they called for the consultation to not mention that until after I made the appointment and they got my credit card for payment, but said that they work with you to file claims with your insurance. I'm sure someone from their staff will respond to this review about "this is our policy," or "this was told to you," or "it's on the website," but I just wanted to share this because I think that people deserve to know especially when it comes to finding the right doctor.

Instead of a chair they have a large sitting bed that you can comfortably sit on with your little one. The hygienist, Kat, was amazing with our son! During my appointment the doctor was very condescending. I have chronic medical conditions and during the course of my appointment the dentist tried to override my pulmonologist , ENT and allergist. She was very rude and offensive, she acted as if I was ignorant about my own medical conditions that I have been living with for over 30 years. If I could give her zero stars I would. I asked if there are other dentists at this location but unfortunately there is only the one.
