I also have high cholesterol. Why do I have to come in, when there is nothing you do to determine the issue or do further testing APoB, LDL-P, etc.. I highly recommend staying away from this place. Its basically a pill mill with overbooked visits designed to maximize profit, they care nothing about their patients.

This will be the reason I leave every prescription has been delayed and misordered. I have been waiting 5 days for cold and antibiotic meds and even after doing face to face with representatives I still only got part of the meds. this is not the first time it has been every prescription through them. they only refill with a new doctors visit and would only do 30 day scripts for me. no pain meds bp and diabetes meds. they charge for any paperwork you may need including medical excuses and handicap paperwork. the business side will be the failure my first doctor left because of this reason. From the first visit, I felt like she & her nurses were there for me. I love that Dr. Caldwell takes the time to listen to you when you are telling her about your issues. She has always taken the time to go over my health issues when I ask questions. She honored that I didn't want to just slap antibiotics on my issues and actually recommended some herbs that helped clear up my sinus issues. She listened when I said I think I'm hypothyroid and did the test for me - sure enough, even to her surprise, I was. She has offered me to have drug compounded to avoid animal bi-products in my meds. And her NP is freaking awesome too. I drive over an hour to see these ladies! I hate the drive, but sometimes, when you find a place you like, you do what you have to do. Though I have to say, Becky - the phone lady isn't the most pleasant. Just get past that and it's golden.

I had been to six other doctors who could not help me or give me a legitimate diagnosis. I was exhausted, but on a friend's recommendation, made an appointment. After asking around, I was referred by a co-worker to Dr. Clayton Young. He did not have a new…read morepatient appointment open that week, but his office staff told me that his midwife, Evelyn Simmons did. I immediately scheduled my appointment for two days later. My very first appointment with Evelyn was for an ultrasound and then a consultation for early pregnancy. When I walked in, the waiting room was very clean. There is plenty of seating (including comfortable couches which I greatly appreciated later on in my pregnancy). There is even a kid section in the far corner for patients who come in with young kids. The office staff is very friendly and very quick to get you an answer to any questions. I have called countless times and they have always gone out of their way to help me. My work schedule is very crazy, and they have always been more than accommodating when scheduling my appointments. Evelyn Simmon's nurse is fantastic! She is always smiling and happy to greet you. She is wonderful at answering any questions she can. She is also very understanding if you call and need to speak to her or Evelyn when it is between your appointments. She is very quick at getting any doctor's notes you need faxed over to where ever they are needed. Evelyn has been amazing throughout my whole pregnancy! She is always very kind and will spend as much time as I need to go over any questions or concerns that I'm having. She always remembers little personal things we talk about each visit (much more than what could be jotted down in a medical chart). She has a very calming and open demeanor that instantly makes you feel very comfortable and at ease. She was the best choice I could have made when it came down to choosing who to see throughout my entire pregnancy. I did have a complication during my third trimester. Evelyn was very honest in telling me that she was not comfortable seeing me while I was having this complication. She requested that I see Dr. Young who got me an appointment immediately. He was very kind and knowledgeable. He assisted me with the complication and got my body back where it needed to be for my baby. As soon as he cleared me, Evelyn said that she was completely comfortable in seeing me again. I am so glad to have started this journey with the same person who will be delivering my baby! I highly recommend Evelyn Simmons and Dr. Clayton Young for anyone who is on the lookout for OB care!
