The doctor is very personable and not an antibiotic pusher. We had a negative strep test, but there was obvious irritation and her tonsils were slightly swollen so the doctor did issue a prescription on hold so we could get it if allergy meds and rest didn't start to help. I took an out-home Covid test and it was negative. I assumed it was strep, which requires antibiotics, so I wanted to go get tested. My wife had a good experience here recently, so I figured I would try it out. I went online to reserve a time and there was something available 20 minutes from when I was looking. I checked out the GPS and it was going to take me 17 minutes to arrive. Perfect. My main reason for the 5-star review here is that they do not require patients to wear masks. It's not that wearing a mask for a half hour is the end of the world, it's more that I hate participating in the stupidity of something that accomplishes nothing other than extend society's exuberant anxiety. Wear one if you want, but Brazos not requiring them is why they gained a fan in me. My co-pay was $75, which I thought was a little steep. I tested negative for strep and then it was suggested I test for the flu. That came back positive. And when I left, I assumed I'd owe more, but nope! That $75 suddenly didn't seem so steep as it was all-inclusive, at least for what I received. See ya next time Brazos, though I hope it's not for a while. The flu was intense enough to last me for the rest of the year.

She is great we have seen her twice now and she is great with my daughter. Unfortunately they had scheduled us with a different dentist today, I believe dr. Jammie Tosevski. We got called back and her nurse told me I wasn't allowed go back with my 7 yo daughter. That the dentist likes to have just the kid back there. First thing that came to mind and probably everyone else is why, is she a pedo. My daughter was being put on nitrous and is already nervous about going to the dentist and doctors. So hearing this immediately put my daughter in fear. my daughter started freaking out about going back by her self and the dentist still said I wasn't allowed back so I asked to be rescheduled with dr.wright. My daughter is 7yo, a very young minor. There's no way I would send her back on her own even if I trusted the dentist. For her to even think that was okay is absolutely crazy to me.

They said results will usually come in 2 days and they will give us a call back. 2 days later, no call! I had to call for the results. Results came in and it wasn't even reviewed yet. So for 2 days after my daughter went to this urgent care she was still having fevers Tylenol was helping but for a limited of time. As a mother I was stressed and worried and didn't know what to do and left this place with even more questions! Would never come here again!!

The entire experience was great. We were able to make an appointment very quickly, we didn't have to wait too long at any point during our time here, and the people were super friendly. The woman behind the counter gave my son stuff to color while we waited, and they had a small kids table, which was really helpful for him to feel like he had a good experience (and to keep me sane). The doctor was also great - praising my son for being such an awesome patient, which probably gives him a very positive memory of going to the doctor. And most importantly, that cough disappeared almost immediately after he got on the meds! The whole experience was better than another urgent care that I've visited multiple times because it's closer to my house, but it's worth driving a little further for this one.

I also have high cholesterol. Why do I have to come in, when there is nothing you do to determine the issue or do further testing APoB, LDL-P, etc.. I highly recommend staying away from this place. Its basically a pill mill with overbooked visits designed to maximize profit, they care nothing about their patients.
