very poor management. They are money oriented. We moved from another state to here and mom needed her diabetes medication, they said they cannot give medication without looking at lab results. So they charged us for lab work and prescribed the medication without getting the results from lab work. when we called for refill, they said they need to another lab work because that prescriber is not working with them and new prescriber won't refill without blood work..... Please don't waste your time and money there..... read more

Note to all area newcomers: Somehow this has changed from a 'heal the patient' entity to a money motivated operation. I've been to this clinic several times. The past 2 encounters have been incredibly poor. I can accommodate wait times if the end result is getting me the meds I need to recover. This medical provider, however, now prefers to refer you for additional outpatient testing and will not administer antibiotics unless you've been ill for more than 14 days. Despite my having respiratory distress and yellow discharge from my sinuses and a productive cough with yellow mucous (all indicative of a BACTERIAL infection), the NP said it was best to 'wait and see if it was perhaps a virus'. Seriously??? I was sent for a chest X-ray to rule out pneumonia. So, you can see I have bronchitis and it's severe enough to order a chest X-ray but you won't give me an antibiotic to kill the infection? Hmmmmm.... Additionally, I was told if I was not well AFTER 14 days, to come back and I would be seen for free if it was to readdress the same issue. I call to confirm before taking off work and making the drive only to be told it must be exactly 14 days. So despite the information being communicated to me incorrectly by their staff member, they refuse to see me to address the issue unless I pay for the privilege again. I'm now at almost a month of being sick and still no resolution in sight. What happened to the Hippocratic oath? BUYER BEWARE! read more

If I could rate this place a 0 I would! I've come here for a year and all of a sudden they changed their price ok not a problem! But why do I have a appointment and I'm waiting three hours so be seen it's honestly ridiculous and a lazy ass staff! I come in again today to get my shot done and I'm waiting again another hour and a half! The nurse comes in saying they just told her I was in there! Like idk wtf this clinic has going on! Then I asked is it the same wait at the other clinics because I rather travel then waste my entire day! And she straight up said they're worse than them! I had a staph infection that they gave me an antibiotic shot for. It hurt like hell (expected) however it turned into a horrible BLACK BRUISE for TWO WEEKS afterwards. And now, TWO MONTHS later it still hurts and I can feel a lump The whole reason I came in is because on the phone she said they could drain the abscess, which they told me they would not do when I got there. I have been coming to this clinic every 3 months for the past couple of years and every time I walk in they already know why I'm there and greet me with smiling faces every time! These gals are great.. I have been in 6 or more times in last year. They are helpful and if they cant deal with my issue (broken glass in hand) They direct me elsewhere at no charge . Last week I went in for a BP issue .. and they asked for a follow up visit today...( thought uh huhh just after another $50)... but no after reviewing me for over 20 minutes and changing prescription... NO charge.. I have insurance but its just flat out cheaper to use these guys than copays and lab charges at my regular doctor... read more

I was seen at the Conroe Express Family Clinic on Hwy 105 today for "walking pneumonia" and I just wanted to comment on how awesome the staff at that location is. The receptionist and medical assistant were friendly, quick and appropriately concerned and Melissa Herpel, the PA, rocked. She was knowledgeable and very thorough, addressing every symptom, and sent me on my way with everything I need to get better. Best part . . . The entire adventure took less than 30 minutes! Express Family Climic added additional services including Botox at their Conroe clinic recently. With my job, it is often hard to get into a dermatologist to have touch ups. Knowing the reputation of Melissa Herpel the owner, I decided to give their services a try. It is quite easy to get an appointment and staff gives great customer service. The nurse practitioner spent considerable time insuring that I understood the procedure. I highly recommend Express for those of you who have busy schedules. I was very unimpressed with this clinic. I went in because I suspected that I had strep ( Tons of White patches in the back of my throat and on my tonsils. Not a whole lot of pain but felt overall fatigued and not myself). When the nurse practitioner came in to examine me I told her my symptoms and she looked as if listening to me was the last thing she wanted to do. I told her about the white patches but that I wasn't having pain and she right away ruled out strep without even looking in my mouth. Finally I got her to look in my mouth and told me they were tonsil stones. I wasn't going for that so I asked for a strep test. I have had a few strep tests before and they usually are pretty uncomfortable. But when she did it I couldn't even feel her touch anything. And she did all this without wearing gloves. Eww. She did the rapid strep test and it came back negative so she brushed it off and called them tonsil stones and sent me on my way. So I went to minute clinic and had another strep test done. She got a much better swab and the strep test came back positive. I knew I wasn't crazy. But now all I can think about is the fact that the first nurse practitioner put her ungloved hand in my mouth when I had strep. read more

Always clean and they get you in and out super fast. They don't bill insurance but it's only $50 for an office visit and a small fee $15-25 for strep, flu testing etc. Great staff and theu are good about prescribing meds when needed! read more

I'm new to the area, and don't know the area that well. This place was recommended from someone in the area when I came down with a rash from an allergic reaction. I can't say enough good things about Desi the nurse practitioner and her staff. They were so welcoming and nurturing. The service was quick, from walking in the door to walking out I was there maybe a total of 30 minutes. As I was filling out my paperwork I got called back to the room, sat for a few minutes, they checked my vitals and listened to what was wrong, the nurse practitioner Desi came in shorty after and gave me my diagnosis and ordered a shot and wrote me a prescription and asked me if I had any questions, and then the nurse came in after that and gave me a shot. I followed the nurse out of the room to the front desk where I was greeted again by Desi, she handed me my prescription and gave me my instructions, and I paid for my visit, and was free to go. I do not have insurance and the visit with the shot and prescription only cost me $70, plus they handed me a prescription savings card to save money on my prescription when I get it filled. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back if any problems arise with me in the future. read more
