This CVS has so many good deals. One thing I love about CVS is their greeting card section--yes, I'm that person. This location has the most vast collection of greeting cards: Papyrus, Hallmark, cards with music, cards that pop-out, artisanal cards, money holders, and my favorite: blank cards. They also have a great selection of gift cards. This CVS has a great selection of food, too. (Sometimes if the line is too long at Fine Fare, I'll dart in here to see if CVS has it; 80% of the time I can find it here.) They have a Kodak Kiosk area if need you to print photos. (I would call ahead for that because it's down pretty frequently.) Also, the pharmacy staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and they move like a well-oiled machine. CVS apparently has 2 cards in the app, there is a blue card for the drive thru and it's clearly marked that way. This particular clerk can't seem to find my information by scanning the red card ever. I believe this is the 3rd time I've had this happen with her and only her. I never have an issue with any other clerk, ever. Today she wouldn't scan the card. She had me scan it after she tried to tell me that my prescriptions weren't going to come up with the red card. They did, as they always have with other clerks. I showed her exactly what it said. She then told me I don't have a card on file. I do, as a matter of fact, I picked up a prescription last week with the same exact information from the CVS app. I didn't have to take out my card or phone to pay. Every single time I've dealt with this particular person, she cannot find my card. Then she proceeds to tell me it's not on file. It shows that it's available in the app. This might seem like a minor inconvenience, but why should I have a card on file to pay for my prescriptions, if I'm going to be told it's not available? I'm done with this CVS. I've had other issues in the past. This was the last straw. Switching to Capsule. I'll shop at Walgreens from now on for anything else I might need.

The girl that now runs and handles the prescriptions is just a breath of fresh air. It's such a pleasure to have a conversation with her because of the energy she exerts. She's always very friendly and when you pick up your prescription, she actually takes the time to explain all the orders (if needed) and how they should be used. She provides a customer services that is missed nowadays. It's very important that we support locally-owned businesses. Sometimes they are the heart of a neighborhood. Also, it seems like they take all insurance, which is a big plus. My mistake this time was having my prescription sent to Walgreens which, after waiting on a long line for like 20 minutes, I was told they didn't accept my insurance. That's what I get for not going to Rahimu in the first place.

It's against the law for them to accept any control substance once it left the store, my wife's DR called them to let them know that and to express her disappointment with there unprofessional behavior. I'm a disabled veteran with a degenerative spinal cord condition and a paraplegic, because of this I use OxyContin to help control my pain so I can participate in life, I've never had an issue I don't abuse it or sell them. To my surprise my doctor tells me that the pharmacy called and accused me of selling my pills at first the person who's in charge denied it after passing my test at the hospital my doctor revealed the name of the accuser who is an employee there by the name and she's the one who actually made the mistake with my wife, I never got an apology and she was never reprimanded she's friends with the person running this place nothing was done. Due to this sudden drug test I didn't make an appointment that I had at the VA for adaptive equipment, I find solace in knowing I was vindicated I had the opioids in my system and no illegal drugs but thats not surprising the fact that they would do something like that is. I plan to Pursue this further I feel that people shouldn't be able to use there position for personal vendettas , there excuse was that someone anonymously walked in there store and made the claim, I don't deal with anybody but my family I'm a paraplegic my social life is limited, I also spend a lot of time at theBronx VA for medical treatment and support from fellow veterans these people should be held accountable.
