To the right is a room where the food items from the party can be done, and also the bathrooms. They set up and tear down the room so all you have to do is bring your decorations and other party items. The left side of the reception desk allows you to gain access to the gymnastics area. There is a place for everyone to place their shoes before entering the facility. There are so many different types of gymnastics equipment for the kids to enjoy. There are trophies all along the walls that show how well the facility has done at various competitions. It allowed all the kids to get their energy out. Spanning across over 100 acres of property, camp has a plethora of options of things that your child can do, so that they can make themselves at home. And, although Camp Weaver advertises themselves as an outdoor camp, their facilities are equipped with air conditioning and electricity to make your child's stay exciting, yet comfortable. I would like to highlight Camp Weaver's leadership camps. As a former participant of these programs, I can say that I grew as a leader via the leadership camps, and I can attribute much of my maturity and growth to these programs. These multi-week camp sessions throw campers into situations where they are forced to work together, which teach them valuable soft skills, which they could carry with them into the future. I would highly recommend the Leaders in Training program at Camp Weaver as a way to give your child a fun experience at camp, while also exposing them to a program where they can achieve personal growth. There are some nice playgrounds for the kids, not big but they get the job done. The pool is small, but nice for kids to play and hang out. There are no fire pits at the spaces so that was a little disappointing. The spaces are very small, but paved. Lots of roots and trees around, so there is not much even ground even for sitting at the picnic tables. Definitely a more family friendly feel, and with the space is being so close. It's not a very relaxing campground with peace and quiet if that's what you're looking for. It wasn't overly loud or people partying it up or anything, but just not a private campground if that's what you're looking for. For $40 a night, I would say that it is well worth the money and our kids had a great time!
