Rest of the family was home cooking dinner so we were really just grabbing a beverage and an app to split. There was live music, had a very difficult time understanding what he was singing even though we knew the songs. Bartender was very chill and did a great job. Place was busy so reservations would be ideal rather than popping in. Second night the other half of my family came for dinner. We had an appetizer of buffalo cauliflower which was good. I enjoyed my shepherds pie, grandfather liked his fish & chips (which I seen a lot of people order the night before). My uncle had chicken wings while my cousin had chicken sandwich, both were pleased with their meals as well. I imagine there is a lot of traffic from the hotel in the same plaza. Parking can be very difficult later in the evening. One thing that aggravated me was the lack of care to keep a clean sidewalk free if ice and snow. I say this because my girlfriend is disabled and where the handicap parking spot is the ramp and the sidewalk leading to the main entrance was covered in snow. Not only that anyone who is elderly would have difficulties walking as well.

While the sandwich was generously filled with meat, it didn't quite deliver on flavor. On the other hand, the onion rings were a highlight- crispy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The batter held up beautifully, with each bite cleanly separating from the onion without any pull-apart mess. Overall, I'd be open to giving this place another try, perhaps with a different entrée, as I believe there's potential here, and those onion rings are definitely worth returning for.

We sat at the bar as a group of four and stayed for about two hours. Service was great our bartender (long dark hair, blue eyes) was super friendly and attentive the whole time. Drinks were on point too, I had a Coors on tap. Overall, prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is chill but still lively. Would definitely come back!

The facility itself is always clean, even if there is the odd case of the ceiling needing a couple repairs, (the bad storm we had did a number on it) you barely notice it. The staff is super pleasant and unless the kitchen is super slammed, the food doesn't take long. You hear the *ding* from the kitchen bell every so often and the smells that come from it always make me want to eat something. I usually get a poutine because it's my favorite "cheat" meal but my fellow trivia team members always get an assortment of food and there is rarely ever a complaint. They host other themed nights and special events/contests/musical guests on their stage for holidays etc. Overall, we love coming here for a break from the weekly routine to have a night of (somewhat) educational fun.

Everything we tried was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, with portions that are just right.
