He prefers to see Miriah because she always gets his color right and does well with his receding hairline when cutting his hair. She's attentive to your opinion and listens to what you're wanting. I had been a faithful customer of Randolph's salon in Clarkston for many years now. On a recent visit, I was overcharged by over $40 for my cut and color. This has happened to me twice now and I will never go back there. My stylist did comp a portion of the price for me, however, i still ended up spending way more that was quoted to me on the phone. I forgot to make this post until I was given PTSD from talking to a friend who also has gone to this salon. The owner seemed to be very demanding to his stylists calling them away from MY CARE to do bullsh*t tasks that were not their duties. I was severely uncomfortable with the way he spoke to them and made me feel as a result. The stylist was then withdrawn and I could tell she was affected by his rude tone and broken down. If you're looking for a salon that will give you a random hair cut and a random color, completely different than what you asked for, then this is the place for you. If you're looking for a new hair look that will make you go home and cry yourself to sleep, this is also the place for you. I had pretty long hair, and wanted to try something different, so I asked for collarbone length with shaggy layers, and a natural looking copper/honey color. I ended up with chin length hair and a dark burgundy color. I look absolutely ridiculous, and to top it off, I had to pay $125 for this hot mess hair. I'm beyond upset. read more

Well I love this salon and the staff , Dawn who has been cutting my hair, love her the front desk staff outstanding, the look of the salon well leaves something to be desired, last time I was in look at the haircare products there is so much dust I wrote the date in the dust and it's still there 5 weeks later , the station next to me was so dusty. It just make the salon look dirty and out dated and with your prices well what are we breathing in when we are there...maybe change the air filter might help read more

Today however they double booked my apt and tried to blame me stating my apt was actually scheduled for an hour earlier despite me having proof of my apt time. Their customer service was terrible, and I ended up missing out on the appointment time to someone who had booked theirs a month after mine. Unfortunately won't be back. read more

The stylists themselves are amazing. However, the owner and management are ridiculous. I agree with other HIDDEN reviews that the owner was trimming his own facial hair and pulling down his mask during a pandemic. I heard a few inappropriate sexual comments from the owner to the multiple young women working at this establishment.... While I was sitting with foil in my hair. No one should be subjected to this work environment and I can't believe a top 200 salon would have a management team that acted this way. read more

I have spends hundreds of dollars on my hair at this salon and have been highly disappointed. Not only do they always relentlessly try to sell you products, my recent hair cut there was horrible. It not an opinion, the stylist accidently over texturized the hair on one side of my head to the point I had only a few stands remaining for the length and the last 2 inches where totally see through. I have super thick hair so this was totally unexpected. She knew she messed up which is why she didn't do the other side, which I guess is a good thing. Its been over a month and I now go to another salon that made my hair look presentable instead of looking like a child cut my hair. It will take about 4 months to get my hair "normal" again. Worst part when I informed the stylist the next day, very politely, and she never even responded. Very disappointed. read more

Came here for an updo and they did a very good job. It was a simple "Kim Kardashian Ponytail" aka very slicked back and lots of bobby pins. As I was taking it out, everytime I thought I got them all, I found 2 more bobby pins! :P Cost me $20 and was worth not having to fiddle with my hair all night. read more

Krisi at Randolph's is amazing. No matter whether I go to expensive salons in the Marina (San Francisco) or my tried n true family salon from back home, none of them get that I am a professional designer and want a cut/color with just a bit of an edge. As my bf says I always come out looking Amish. It was my first time meeting Krisi and with in a few sentences of my description she was showing me photos of styles better than ones I had found in hours of online searching. I chose one and in a short amount of time she had me looking like the photo. No more Amish. During my cut the receptionist schedule Krisi with people looking to get their hair fixed from screwups that happened at other salons. She is always up to date on the latest trends and techniques. I have followed her throughout Randolph's numerous locations, currently drive from across the state and and previously used to fly back from upstate NY just to see Fran. I've had Kelly do my hair quite a few times, and it's been excellent every time. She even taught me how to blow dry my hair since it tends to frizz easily. I also get my nails done by Michelle, who is a riot. My mother tried to get me to go to a cheaper nail salon where they don't talk to you, but talk in front of you in another language. It's worth a little bit extra to have someone friendly and funny to talk to, and her work is flawless. I can't speak about any of the other stylists, but Kelly and Michelle are great! read more

Been here a couple times, to give the place the benefit of the doubt, bad idea. The first time I was there, the owner came in and just shaved his beard right in front of all the clients. Second time I was there, I heard very rude sexual comments and gestures coming from him. Getting your hair done should be relaxing and enjoying, not disturbed by the owner of all people. I have went to Randolph's 2 separate times, spent over $100 on my hair both times, and both times was extremely disappointed in what I walked out with. A friend just called me crying about a week ago after a similar bad experience in which inattentive stylists gave dye jobs far from what was expected. My wife (a cosmetologist turned stay at home mom) went to Randolph's to get an ombre done to her hair. When she got home I could tell she was upset all the stylist did is run some highlights up the side of her head and on top of it they charged her $150.00 when there website says $79.00 and up. (I guess the and up means double) My wife being to nice she decided to go back and ask for an ombre again but this time explain exactly what she was expecting. The 2nd time did look more like an ombre but this time they charged her $195 for the styling?? If you are reading this do not go to this salon. read more
