Great experience! Maddy is amazing! I came to her with 6 months of grayish brown grow out, with a harsh line of yellowed out old highlights. She listened to my vague explanation of what I wanted and made the vision a reality. My grays are blended perfectly and the yellow is gone. She is also a wonderful human and it was a pleasure to spend multiple hours with her as she corrected the mess. Very pleased with this experience! When I arived the service was great, they offered me water and cookies. My hairdresser was kind but when I asked for a specific framing and cut, they did the oposture. I've only been here for blow outs and trims. I've seen many different stylists, when my usual stylist is busy/not working. All have been great for blow outs. You can schedule with anyone and know that you're in great hands. My usual stylist is Marissa G.I actually met her elsewhere and only see her if possible. She's an amazing stylist. My blow outs are always amazing and last for so long. I always get compliments. She gives amazing haircuts and does all types of hair styles and makeup. She's also really fun to talk to! The prices are phenomenal compared to other salons I've been to. The quality is amazing. Staff is amazing. From the front desk to the stylists. The salon has amazing products. I've been a client for this salon for 10 year it was more sporadic before but now I go for a blowout at least 4 times a month, I love my hair blown out with the twists and I typically see Heidi, Amanda, Angelina. But honestly they are all great! My nails are set with Carmen ever 2 weeks and she doesn't nickel and dime you on anything extra like my previous salon would do. COVID prone salon: I was extremely disappointed in the infection control I saw amongst the staff in the salon. There were multiple stylists walking around without masks initially. Then there were stylists that wore masks that don't cover their nose which we all know is pointless. There's another stylist that wears just a face shield and not a mask! That makes no sense. Another stylist wears some contraption that attaches to her glasses. How hard is it to wear a mask? I felt so uncomfortable and was worried about everyone's safety. With all the knowledge and laws, your staff should know better. This is a public health issue. Your staffs acts are disrespectful and dangerous. I hope this salon learns from this and changes immediately. Do not go here till COVID is over if you are even the slight concerned about your health and of your loved ones. read more

So not worth the money. Even the way it looks screams of McDonalds type fast low quality experience, yet they charge as a high profile posh salon. First of all, had to wait for my appt approximately 15 mins, while my 'stylist' was finishing another client right there in front of me, without once acknowledging my presence or apologizing for the wait like normal salons do. She knew I was there because she approached the reception and I saw her being notified about her next client (me). Second, the haircut. I asked for something low maintenance, but received levels instead. I can't possibly just wash this and go. Third, eye brows, and here it gets ridiculous. She barely did any work, putting me in the space where they wash hair, with my head on the sink, so it was very uncomfortable. She spent about 5 mins on me and left WAX in my HAIR afterwards. WTH? Shame I didn't notice this immediately, had to wash this out at home. Fourth, they don't notify you that you can't tip with card (again, like normal salons that cost such money) when you make an appointment. So I had to get money for the tip from their machine, which charged me extra. Never coming back again and hope my negative experience helps others to avoid this. Would not recommend this salon. Called to book an appointment and I was asked to provide credit card information per their cancellation policy. Information was provided they then explained that they charge a 50% of the services if you cancel the appointment even if you notify them and even though there's no actual service provided . Real penalty during covid and how can they determine the service if they don't see you? During covid they asked to book an appointment for consultation first, just so they can look at your hair. Then they will book another appointment for a different day to color your hair. So absurd! The girl that answered the phone was very polite but the manager of the salon was very rude and irrational. Nobody goes to hairdressers two times especially when people should keep contacts at what's absolutely necessary. The girl in the front stated the fees are $165 and the manager straight up bumped up the price of an unprovided service to $200. Great game on how to lie and rip of customers! Would not recommend this salon and definitely the most unpleasant customer service experience ever. read more

Great salon, great location, friendly staff. My issue was that I called and asked specifically if they do kids cuts, I was told yes. My son is autistic but very high functioning. The minute I told the hairdresser that he was autistic she just wanted to get it over with. She didn't even take a min for me to get him situated and take his jacket off. Just threw the cape over him and started. Didn't even look at the picture that I showed her. Of course, his hair cut didn't turn out to be anywhere near what I had asked for. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I miss the feel and look of the old location! The new one is a bit confusing considering theres a medical spa in the same building so I didn't really know what I was walking into, could be decorated more authentically to feel more like the Bianchi's I know! I've seen her about three times now and I adore this woman, she is gentle, kind, sincere and so open and caring with me. After realizing my regular salon would be closed the day of my engagement portraits, I hit Yelp to track down one that would be serving clients on a Monday. Bianchi's Salon West was close by, relatively local to my other appointments, and seemed like a good option. I picked it on a whim with no reviews from friends or family but man, it was one of the best decisions I made for the day next to our photographer! I made an appointment with Marina and arrived early. I was greeted as soon as I came in and offered a beverage - everything from a cappuccino to water to tea. Since I had a latte beside me, I opted for a glass of water. I was told that my stylist would be with me shortly. Marina didn't need any direction once we began my appointment but listened carefully to what I wanted. I am someone who feels VERY nervous when getting my hair done (from bad experieces) so I can be a control freak who stresses out. For some reason I didn't seem to worry with Marina - I told her I had 100% trust in her and told her I wanted volume, for it to last all day and beat the humidity, and be parted to the right. When I left, my hair was luxuriously thick, shiny, and so carefully styled that I got complimented on it for the rest of the day. Not only did it last throughout my appoiontment, it is still in place today without the use of a ridiculous amount of hair spray. I paid $35 for this blow out - VERY reasonable. I would definitely visit Bianchi's Salon West again. If you're looking for a great stylist, make an appointment with Marina and relax - you will not be disappointed! I will be back. On a side note, hardly anyone I know goes to this salon but it has a great location, staff, and service list. They need way more publicity and a better sign - you can hardly see it driving down Big Beaver! read more

We go here to see Hana, who has been our hair dresser for almost a decade now. She is THE BEST! Great for both women and men, big event styling for the ladies, and weddings. She did all the ladies in our bridal party and they all looked stunning. Highly recommend. The salon itself is very nice and clean. Upscale and modern feel, well lit, good music. They offer wine, water, or coffee upon arrival and are usually polite. This is a definitely one of the nicer salons in our area. My only gripe is, on occasion, the receptionists are not very helpful on the phone when scheduling an appointment. It has happened a few times, but I was able to resolve things by contacting Hana directly. Perhaps it's out of their control, who knows. All around, two thumbs up! read more

My stylist Jennifer is great. She is a good person and good stylist. She is the only reason I went to Bianchi's month after month to touch up my color. Bianchi's is a bit pretentious. Poor customer focus. If they even had it, they lost their hospitality and the ability to treat each customer like an individual. My first time here. The Atmosphere is great. Everything inside looks new and clean and the they defiantly go above and beyond for asking if you would like a coffee or water while you wait. The staff is very friendly as was asked several time if I needed anything and was checked in on as well. I went to see Azra. There was confusion when I booked my appointment for a cut/color. I went in on a Wednesday for my cut, which was not good. I asked for a trim and she took off over 2". Went back that Friday for color. I wanted my hair stepped from dark brown/black to sandy blonde. She turned my hair into a mostly green, somewhat red, patchy black mess. When I told her I didn't like my hair and when could she fix it, she told me Tuesday. I said I didn't want to have to walk around like that until Tuesday and she replied that she wishes she hasn't even taken me as a client. I was given a discount on my services and I tipped her 40 for her time and effort. The management at the salon tried to get me seen that same night to correct the color. Instead the l they booked me at the Royal Oak location. Just left and my hair looks amazing. It's much shorter than I planned for but it will grow, and at least it's not green! I'll be taking my business to the Royal Oak location. But I do want to give due credit to the management staff for handling my situation as they did. read more

Since i was a first time customer you would think she would pay attention to how I wanted to have my hair cut and styled...I get upset every time I comb my hair...the haircut is awful, Just to short, no kind of style, since I asked for a trim and shaping, my hair is fine and in just a few minutes most of it was cut off. Last week, I took my two sisters to have our hair done and what a complete disappointment. The first apt was for the bride. Lydia showed up 15 min late and was not friendly at all! My sister said that Lydia didn't even congratulate her! The staff helping Lydia was standoffish and rather rude as well. Went in receptions was helpful... the two stylist that I saw where doing nothing that would have made me not rebook with one of their competitors really made an impression. I am a hairstylist and I was there at a peek time and not a single client could be seen. It has a fancy name and high prices, but I think the owners should look in onnwhat is going on at their Troy location. When I went to the place I finally decided to go with they gave me a free consolation so I could meet the woman who would be styling my hair, quotes that where much more resnable than what they had, and a much less exclusive atmosphere. If you want your shop to make money be friendly! This was cold, and that is the nicest word I can think of.
