I had them come out to open a broken privacy lock. They quoted $90-$100 on the phone. I thought that was quite high, but whatever. The locksmith was very professional and courteous. He offered to replace the door handle. I asked how much it would cost. He said $30. Then he said you're paying for an hour of labor either way. I said if that's the case, and it won't cost anything extra, yeah he can install it. It took him about 15 minutes. However, the bill came to $200! After explaining what dispatch told me, he reduced it to $160. The day before I had a laundry washing machine removed and a new one installed for less than that. I could have bought a whole new door and handle for that! So, in short, professional and efficient service. However, ridiculous pricing and inaccurate quotes on the phone. I won't be using them again, the value just isn't there for small residential jobs.
