Other reviewers note that there are no "rush jobs," and I would agree. They do take their time, but when it comes to fragile materials, you don't want your job to be rushed. I stopped by in person in the summer of 2013 to ask if a small section of porcelain from a brass bed frame could be repaired. Anatoly said it would be difficult... especially since I did want to spend a lot.. but he said he would look into it and get back to me. I never heard from Anatoly once. I called him about 4 times over 7 months and he said there was no update. Whne I called to see if there was any update good or bad he said 'Try me again in a month or so'. That was it. Now some 7 months later without a single call to say 'Hey I can't help you' or a 'No luck but I'm still trying' I called him and got the usual 'I don't have anything for you' I told him how disappointed that I never recieved a single call or update even if it was to say he couldn't help. And I told him to keep the piece. I don't know if his lack of professionalism or common decency as a business owner was due to my project not being a lucrative piece for him. Or perhaps his workload being such that he didn't have a spare minute or two to update a customer... all I can say is, despite being my being very friendly and checking in with him, I felt ignored and unimportant.

Benjamin, who does his personal work under the name New Majestic Lapidary, was able to remedy that issue right away, polishing the wand to the once again finely pointed tip. I was able to pick it up the next day, and the cost was very reasonable. As icing on the cake, he is so easy and pleasant to work with, as were the other gentlemen at the office. Also, you can tell he is knowledgeable about his work, and takes pride in it. I am definitely bringing any and all crystal work here from now on.

Obviously what I wanted in the first place! Eugene is a kindly old man from the Ukraine who did an amazing hand engraving on a ring I got for my anniversary from my girlfriend. He also had a little display of other cool things he has engraved, a zippo, some wax sealing irons and other random items. Overall he did an amazing job and I'd definitely trust him to engrave something dear to me in the future. It cost only $15 and took him about 48 hours to turn around. And they took a look at my clock and fixed it perfectly! Not only that but I took my clock to two others stores before and one said it was unfixable and the other said it would cost 250 to replace the antique hands with new ones and make it battery operated which I did not want since I wanted it to be restored in its antique glory! So when Sutton clock shop said no problem and fixed it at a very reasonable price I was blown away! Can't say enough positive things about this place! I went up to another office, which is located downstairs D Level (the door to the staircase is towards the back of the exchange main floor), where I was introduced to Levon. I gave him the watch to remove links and he did it on the spot within 5 minutes. He was a gentleman and very professional. The watch was a gift for my girlfriend's birthday, so once it was sized on her, he did not charge us and said his service was his gift. Highly recommended for watch repair!
