After reading all of the positive reviews on this site, I decided to contact the company to sell a significant amount of vintage jewelry. I sent a note and detailed photos of the jewelry through the link on this site. Marion came by my apartment and was friendly, but shrewd as she went through the collection. She purchased many pieces. However, I would recommend you do your research on the price of gold and silver in advance, which I had not done and wish I had. .. Another major concern was when I presented rings & brooches and asked if the stones on them were real. She would tell me it didn't matter - and claim it was just the amount of gold that mattered. So, I'd never get a straight answer on whether the sapphires, emeralds, rubies or diamonds on the rings were real or not. So, this made it hard for me to assess their true value when she offered to purchase them. read more

If you're going to read and listen to any review, this is the one. Adam and his family went above and beyond for me and my pops. He's a bit of a hoarder lol and I finally convinced him to at least get it appraised. Adam came into our home, looking professional, in a suit, and stayed with us for over 2 hours! Was looking to sell a couple of pieces. Went to their website and sent an email for a quote. No response. I called the office. They gave me a number to text photos and I did so. No response. I sent a follow up text the next day. No response. I waited two additional days and still no response. I can understand if you're not interested in buying, but at least have the courtesy of giving me a reply. To ignore me like this is completely unprofessional. I don't see how they can offer same day evaluations when I can't even get a callback. Edit: Adam called me after the review and we were able to work something out. The family is wonderful and set up an appointment for Adam to come look at various items. He is very knowledgable, honest, and kept looking around finding more items he would buy. He even bought costume jewelry, and I had thrown a bunch away thinking that it was junk. Save everything, send some pictures to them, and make an appointment. I am relocating so I was looking to sell some jewelry and other items. I searched up the internet and found Syl-Lee. I was a bit hesitant as one never knows what the reality is in cyberspace. I am happy to say that there was no need to worry. Syl-Lee made an appointment with me within a day of my calling. Marion came to my apartment and looked over what I had to sell. She was fair and fun to deal with. As an extra, she advised me about the nature of some of the items that she did not purchase (real pearls, type of stone, etc).
