I recently invited a phone-screened short list of three (3) contractors to my home to bid on the replacement of irrigation lines on the my property as well as the replacement of in-ground valves (2) and above-ground PVB - the system is now 14 years old and we were chasing problems. Carlos was the only contractor (of the 3) that showed up on time, offered objective/useful information on several approaches, promptly emailed the most detailed bid (2 contractors committed to price in writing, Carlos was the most specific), and offered the best price-to-value value proposal. We selected Carlos for the reasons above and his crew was able to accommodate our schedule. After further reflection and our comfort level with our experience to-date, we decided to use Carlos to simultaneously replace our landscape light wiring, upgrade our the landscape lighting to LEDs, plant 2-3 dozen plants, add a flagstone pathway, and refresh our rock. As expected (but verified), Carlos' updated the bid with highly competitive pricing and a detailed proposed approach & bid -- i.e., my business was not taken for granted. The crew showed up on time each of the scheduled days, worked diligently until sunset each day, cleaned up each evening, and checked in before departing. As usual with home improvement projects, we uncovered several site-specific challenges along the way as well as additional problems. The supervisor (Francisco and/or Fernando) was always quick to alert me, provide options (if any), allow us to make decisions (if available), and keep our outlays to a minimum. Note that several issues (e.g., a leaky PVC pipe about a foot away from the PVB) resulted in no additional costs - definitely not my usual contractor experience. The entire crew was always on top of the project and ensured that I was kept apprised throughout the project & that our landscaping objectives (structurally and cosmetically) met or exceeded our goals. I highly recommend them for similar work and intend to have them return to submit a proposal for my Paver Patio. Our irrigation system needed a serious tune up and the valves were shot. Have a fairly large piece of property and there were a alot of issues going on. Fernando came out and did a full inspection and emailed me a bid to do the yard. I called another company to give me a quote, he came out and gave me a rough estimate verbally which was 4xs the amount of Fernandos and didn't bother to even email me the real estimate. These guys were great. I've got mature landscaping but my sprinkler system was dated and wasn't giving adequate water. They came out and replaced the entire system with minimal damage to the existing landscaping. I knew some would be hurt but more importantly they did not damage my prized vines. Terrible customer service. THey sent a gentleman out to give me a quote, and when we decided to go with them, since they supposedly specialize in irrigation, and that was a big part of our problem, that is where the service went downhill. THe lady who answered the phone said she would call me back to schedule. No call back in over 2 weeks, so I called again only to be told that They no longer had a foreman and so they could not tell me when they could do the job. Now I contacted them the end of September, and it was now mid to late October , whihch isgetting late to be replacing grass . Very unprofessional of them to leave us out hanging for weeks, then just totally dropping the ball for us to have to start over with another company. Maybe they do good work, but trying to get it scheduled and done. Just didnt happen. I would move on and find a more reputable company. read more

We recently purchased a home in Northwest Las Vegas. The irrigation system had several problems and I had no idea what to do. I did some research and came up with LV Irrigation Repair. I contacted them and set an appointment. Their office called and confirmed the appointment time and they showed up on time and we did a thorough walkthrough of the property. All the mechanical valves were fine. However, several of the lines were not functioning. As the system is 14 years old, I opted to have all the lines replaced. Another appointment was made and the crew showed up early and went right to work. Trenches were dug and lines installed. When they finished, we went over the entire system and they showed me it all worked. When they left, they said the office would contact me for payment. Very professional and responsive! I had an emergency, literally my entire yard almost flooded, in the early evening. I called and a tech was out by the very next day. He assessed the situation, fixed everything, reset my watering system, and gave me a warranty for up to one-year for his work. I purchased a home several months ago and have had some problems with the irrigation system. I called Las Vegas Irrigation Repair and Carlos came out to review the situation and make an estimate for repair. He was very professional and took his time to make sure everything was checked out. He went through the property explaining where there were problems. After thinking it over, I decided to have the work done. I thought the price was reasonable and four staff came to do the work. They had to dig up some of the lines so that they could be easily seen--I can now keep an eye on everything and know when there is an issue. I would give zero stars if I could. I filled out the online appointment maker 2 weeks ago and never got a response. Called 3-2-15 and set up an appointment for today 3-7-15 to get a quote for repairs. The appointment was set for 9:00 am. I was out front at 8:45am and a white pickup with Rosales Landscaping on the side drove by and left. I later found out that Rosales Landscaping is Las Vegas Irrigation. I called an left a message that the pickup drove by and left. I received a call back at 9:15 am stating the driver had the wrong address and was at a different job and I would have to re-schedule for another date and time. This company was not interested in correcting their mistake. Incompetent to say the least. I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. I received an estimate from Carlos after explaining what I wanted done and he told me that it would be no problem completing the job I wanted done. I told Carlos that I would get back with him after I finished receiving my other estimates. The other estimates came in higher and they didn't appear interested in doing the work. I called and spoke to Brenda on 10/26/17 and she pulled my estimate for Carlos to look over and prepare to do the work. Brenda said Carlos would get a hold of me to setup a time to do the work. I received no call so I called back on 11/02/17 and asked Brenda if she knew anything as I had not heard back from Carlos. She said that she knew he had the estimate because she pulled it and he was going over it. I asked her to have him give me a call so we could plan the work. After receiving no callbacks, I called again on 11/09/17 and request that Carlos call me that day so I could plane when the work would be done. No callback ever received. It is now 11/15/17 and I have received no further information from Carlos so I will write this company off from any further work I need done. If Carlos didn't want to do the work or whatever the reason he could have easily just called me back and explained that to me and I can handle that but to hide behind someone else that answers the phone for you is just a terrible way to do business. For those that are looking at using this company for future work I would think twice and keep looking elsewhere. read more

This was a good experience with this company replacing 30 or so feet of irrigation line. They showed up on time and did a good job. They also inspected the system and fixed a few other issues I was not aware of, including a large tree that did not have any irrigation at all and had somehow been surviving on water seeping over from a different tree. I had been repairing the line myself several times over several years only to have it keep breaking again. I'm hoping that having it fixed by a professional company will end up being a more reliable repair and keep it working for a long time. read more

BEWARE OF BAIT AND SWITCH! I noticed two days ago that my drip water system was stilling running when I got home from work, which was odd because it should have shut off earlier in the morning. I assumed it was a valve issue, but wasn't 100% sure. I found LandTeck on Yelp and they had 4.5 stars and good user reviews. I call them up and schedule an appointment for between 9-10am on Saturday. I assume at this point that everything will be good to go, but was I ever wrong. Let the nonsense begin... I get a message on my cell phone at 7:45am Saturday morning saying that the guy who was coming over to fix my system at 11am (not the time we had set the schedule for, but he was coming early so what did I care) had finished his previous appointment early and would be at my place around 8am. Not long afterwards Fernando shows up. He's a younger guy, but he's friendly so I don't think too much of it. However, I look over at the door of his truck and it says in big letters "Las Vegas Irrigation Repair", but in the lower right it says LandTeck. First red flag. I remember seeing Las Vegas Irrigation Repair on Yelp when I was doing my initial search for a company to help me fix my drip system. Las Vegas Irrigation Repair had only a 3 star rating, which is why I didn't call them. Second red flag. I explain to Fernando what's going on and he doesn't even check my system or see if it is something to do with the system control in the garage. He just tells me that it will be $245 to repair the issue. I told him that was more than I was expecting to pay. HIs response, "Well it's Saturday. I'm sure we can work something out. Pay me $180 cash and I'll do the repair." Third red flag. At this point the whole situation seems a bit shady, so I thank Fernando for his time and decline the services. Fernando then proceeds to tell me that it will be $45 for the service call. Fourth red flag. I almost found it comical that he had the nerve to say that to me especially since I was never told by the girl that I scheduled the appointment with that there was a service fee. Mind you Fernando had not even been at my house for five minutes and didn't even inspect my system, but will try to charge me for a "service fee". I told Fernando that I would't be paying the service fee. He immediately gets on the phone with his boss and then proceeds to tell me that he would't charge me the fee, but the lowest price he could offer was $150 to make the repair. I told him no, so he finally left. I was pretty dumbfounded at this point, not to mention irritated by the whole situation. This was a clear case of bait and switch, which I'm considering reporting to the Better Business Bureau. I decided to then find someone else to fix my system. I called Affordable Sprinkler Repair and spoke to Chris the owner. I explained the situation and Chris tells me that it sounds like the valve, but he would have check the system out completely to determine the cause. Weird, someone that actually wants to check out my system before he tries to charge me. Chris also told me that it would be $50 for the service call and $50 to replace the valve. However, if they determined that it wasn't the valve, then I would't be charged the service fee and they would give me a free estimate to fix whatever was causing the problem. Now this is how service from a professional company/business owner should be offered. Chris hasn't done any work for me as of yet, they'll be here in a few hours, but the level of service has already been 100x better than what I received from LandTeck/Las Vegas Irrigation Repair. I will be posting this review on both LandTeck's Yelp page as well as Las Vegas Irrigation Repair's Yelp page, since apparently they are the same company. BUYER BEWARE!!! read more

Bought a new sprinkler system which was installed incorrectly (left the test valve open so the system never turned off, and they didn't properly connect the valve wiring to controller), and the next day they missed the appointment window to fix the system. work was done as i requested. works better then last system. hard workers with knowledge of what they are doing. some parts were left behind..i.e. old system pvc pipes still in ground...but were hard to see..which i had to remove myself ....evn when manager saw this ...i was disappointed no discount was offered. my only issue was that i believe the sales or manger who sold me the system was not there while work was being done.i understand he had other jobs to check on but at least a drop by or phone call to check on progress on day of work. overall i am happy with how it turned out. read more

First I thought the price was steep for less than an hour. However there were 3 people that came. After fixing three leaks in my drip line (all from the same hole at the turn off valves) they showed me wet several wet spots in the yard and said when older hoses begin to leak other holes will show up in the buried hose. However it has been a week and a half since they were here and those wet spots have never shown up again. read more
