I am singing the Beatles song this year. (When I'm 64!) LOL I have always played sports and was looking for strength training to keep me in shape and mostly prevent racquetball injury. I knew of the kettlebell "getup" from workouts at the Y and had heard kettlebells were a distinct workout. I signed up for a workshop with Rapid Results Durham NC. Betsy Collie is amazing. I have been working with her for over a year. Her knowledge and enthusiasm communicated through out her workouts is the best I have experienced. Her company, Rapid Results is aptly named. Kettlebell workouts and stretching she incorporates has quickly increased my strength, balance and flexibility. She is fun loving, compassionate, and always teaching, teaching, teaching. She explains everything, she knows tons about not just technique but how and where it affects and strengthens. I like that I can work out at her place or via Zoom, she pays attention and helps all. I feel like a "there" participant. She customizes workouts weekly so we may be doing classic moves but are always learning something new which keeps the class interesting. You can work at your own speed and weight, no pressure except she will push you if she thinks you are lame ducking it, I believe is positive. She does the workouts with us so we can always see her technique. She walks it like she talks it. I highly recommend her and kettlebells! read more

I can't believe this place hasn't been reviewed yet. I first went to rapid results fitness a couple years ago after moving to the Triangle. I was looking for an unorthodox, results oriented fitness program. I was looking for a CrossFit or Kettlebell trainer when I came across their website. Betsty, Kevin and the other instructors are amazing. You will definitely see rapid results with this level of fitness instruction, focusing mainly on kettlebells, but also incorporating body-weight, ropes, and other hard-core, no nonsense training methods. This is simply the BEST kettlebell training money can buy, and it is ONLY in Durham. I briefly moved to the west coast, and there was nothing to compare to RRF out there. There are no other gyms or studios like this in the area. The class sizes are small, fun and fast. You will usually be in and out of the studio in under an hour. I am extremely impressed with Rapid Results Fitness and with Betsy. I joined the gym in order to build some strength into my running plan. Like most runners, I've been told many times that I have a weak core. I found the workouts to be interesting, and also effective. I could tell the difference in my running after a few weeks at RRF. RRF's focus is on proper form, and not pushing the weight too soon. The instructors are informative, teaching why and how to work the kettlebells. I love it! I would recommend kbs and RRF to any endurance athlete out there as a complimentary exercise to training (running or tri). I made my first visit to RRF yesterday. I had taken a couple StrongFirst courses with Betsy and had arranged a training session with her. I don't live in Durham so had traveled for out of town to work with her - 110% worth every minute. Durham is blessed with a tremendous resource with Betsy with her training and experience. I took one of her KB Blast classes before the training session. It was great - very friendly group - an outstanding atmosphere for any level of fitness.
