Rapid Service has come to my rescue twice in the past year with three plumbing fixes. A year ago, my wife was very ill and could not be moved from the house. The well pump quit in the afternoon and Rapid Service was called. With much snow on the ground, they found the well-head and started the diagnosis and repair. They said the pump was bad and would have to be replaced, but it was getting dark and they would have to return the next day. I informed them of my wife's condition and that she could not be moved and that we would need water for her care. Under "the lights", they worked through until after 9 PM to complete the pump replacement and returned the next day to replace the water storage tank. My wife passed away six days later, but we did not have to put her through any more discomfort than necessary by moving her. Great job. Now I am trying to sell my house and the water heater starts leaking. I started to replace it myself, but since the original installation the fittings on top of the heater have changed and I could not find the proper hardware to complete the replacement. Enter Rapid Service with a truck full of cures and within an hour and a half, I was up and running again. This company is the most professional, courteous, friendly and efficient in both plumbing and electrical repairs that I have ever been privileged to interface with. I have used Rapid Service now twice for our family plumbing needs and I can't tell you how thrilled I am. Let me start with making the appointment with Rachel was easy - she is friendly and pleasant and very accommodating. Ozzi advised he would be at my house at x time and he WAS! Beat that. Ozzi came out both times one to help with a leaking bathroom toilet and the other was an issue which we were not even sure what was happening with our filtration system. Ozzi spent hours - gave us options on how we could tackle the situation and then was back to fix things. He is pleasant; his appearance is great and professional; he is respectful of our house and cleaned up after when he is done. I would not even have known he was in the house! Last, let's talk about cost - Very reasonable; provided me estimates along the way since again we were not sure what the filtration issue was. I expected the invoice to be much larger for the amount of time Ozzi spent and was more than pleasantly surprised. So - Pleasant, Respectful, Timely, and Affordable. What else can you ask for! This organization is outstanding! Honest, Highly Competent, Knowledgeable, Professional, Reliable are only some of the adjectives I can use to describe my experience. Confronted with a very difficult situation due to the recent cold snap, we had pipes bursting throughout the house of my father in law while he was hospitalized. The amount of dedication and compassion demonstrated by Ozzie and Andy was incredible. On two consecutive days they put in 16 hour days working on the house until early in the AM to minimize the damage. They would not quit until they were comfortable that the job was done right. In addition to the repairs to the heating system, we used them to replace the boiler and oil tank. We are very pleased with the result, and are now planning on using them for some electrical work that needs to be done. I cannot say enough positive about them. Once again Rapid Service comes to the rescue. 4 Years ago, when my 91 year old father in law who lives alone was hospitalized unexpectedly, while in, as a result of a cold snap and furnace failure the pipes with in the house froze, resulting in significant damage. The staff of Rapid Service went above and beyond to rectify the situation. Here we are four years latter and we discover a problem with water dripping into the electrical panel. Obviously, a problem. We live out of state so immediately called Racheal at Rapid Service. She gave our situation a priority. Andy, the electrician diagnosed the problem and rectified it in a timely professional manner. On a holiday weekend (during which we had record cold and a blizzard coming)it turned out that we had a frozen pipe in our heating system. After calling into the service Andy returned my call and made some recommendations for thawing it out. He mentioned that he would be in the area on a different call and would call me back after he had completed it. My anxiety got the best of me, and after doing all his recommendations without any return of the heat I had him re-paged. He was finishing up the prior job and offered to come by after. With 3 in of snow on the ground and the wind picking up he came to our house, A calm, precise, knowledgeable, personable professional showed up and within 15 minutes of his arrival he purged the system and the heat came back on. Rapid service plumbing impressed me as a customer who still yearns for good "ole fashioned" customer service. My call (on a late Saturday morning was answered within a minute by a pleasant woman who told me Andy the plumber would call me soon). I received a call from Andy within 3 minutes and he was so upbeat, funny, and professional I immediately felt good about calling this company. He had another job to do 1st but arrived within 2 hours of our initial call. After failing to get our propane gas furnace repaired by licensed technicians from the company that delivers our gas, and, in the process, spending almost $1,000, we desperately called Rapid Service. They sent Aaron, who has experience with our type of furnace, and who took his time to figure out the source of the problem. Only when he was sure of that, did he proceed with the needed repairs. I had Rapid Service come to my home because there was a saddle valve under my kitchen sink that was about to make a huge mess. I wasn't able to use my filtered water faucet until the repair was made. The technician fixed it AND had a great attitude while he worked. That is a rare thing lately. He showed up when the office staff said he would, explained everything and the price before he started, and left everything neater than when he started.
