I was desperate to get the repairs started on my house after we had a pipe burst in the kitchen in February. I contacted multiple contractors on Yelp after being flat out refused by the big name water damage companies. He responded quickly and promised to get the repairs done by the time my son got home from college in May. Guess what? He delivered! I can't say enough about the professionalism and courtesy of Carlos and his crew. A special shout out to Laro. He has extraordinary plumbing and electrical skills. He is also able to perform all the other tasks that were involved with the repair of my home. Raphael, sorry there were SO MANY boxes to pack. You are a trooper! It was easy to stay in contact with Carlos and the attention to detail that his crew exhibited is greatly appreciated. They completed all the tasks related to the repair of my home (except countertop installation) as well as a few extras. One of the extras was removing the nasty popcorn ceiling. It looks so nice and clean now. We also had a dimmer switch installed and undercabinet lighting and a new "spotlight" type fixture over the sink. I think the pictures will speak for themselves. He dealt with insurance and helped us with the claim, also his estimates were accurate without unexpected surprises. Our new house was built in 2005, so it certainly had that weird "closed-off" style with very separated rooms. Of course we wanted something with a big, open living/dining/kitchen space with several updates. We had two walls taken down, an island built in, countertops changed, and all of the floors taken up and replaced with stained concrete... you know, just a couple of things! Oh, AND we had about 3-4 weeks from closing to vacate our rental back in Dallas. From the very beginning, Sal totally understood what we wanted and needed, even down to the details that we didn't know we wanted (like a push button garbage disposal). When the process finally began, he made sure to keep us up to date on all of the important stuff. If something were to stray from plan, like the sink we really wanted not fitting in the cabinets we had, Sal made sure to come up with solid solutions before bringing us the issue. Capital City Tradesmen really made our dream open space kitchen a reality! (And in a timely manner!) Sal gave us price and time quotes that were still both spot on in the end, even with several changes and a few hold ups. Having a few friends with home renovation horror stories, we feel like we seriously hit the jackpot with these guys. Not only are they professional and create amazing spaces, but they all seem to have an eye for detail in whatever their expertise may be. On top of all this, our AC went out for two weeks!
