I can't even explain how Raquele changed my life. We met earlier this year when I was going through a hard time. Upon my search, I knew I wanted a woman of color specializing in relationships whether it be family or romantic partners. After reading her profile I was convinced and I sent a note. She dialed me immediately and I cried. It was then when I knew I had to move forward to an in person meeting and continue sessions. Raquele made me feel safe earlier on. Where my outlandish thoughts and behavior was welcomed and not judged. It feels very natural to me, and not the kind of questions and dynamic you see in films. Raquel is a light. She's the light I needed when I first started coming in 2018. I 100% recommend Raquele as a therapist. When my partner and I first came to her, it felt like we were at our wits end and therapy was the last resort. Neither of us had really ever gone through therapy before and we had no idea what to expect (and didn't assume we'd have a positive experience). Enter Raquele, as a previous review has mentioned, when you set up an appointment she quickly calls you to get a better understanding of what (couple's therapy) you and your partner are expecting to achieve through the experience. That immediately put me at ease. She then took the time to explain her methodology for couple's therapy and what our upcoming sessions would entail. Our first session was two hours! She spoke with me and my partner separately and then brought us together. After that session, we knew we had found the right person. She gained our trust and even in the one session helped us view one another with empathy and begin to listen without judgement. In the past couple of months she has helped us to completely shift the tide in our relationship. My partner, who is chronically unemotional, was able to open to her in a way that I've never seen him do before. It now feels like we have the tools to navigate difficult times, should they come up again. She's the best, invest in yourself, your love and a better life. Upon meet her, I was reassured I made the right selection. Her persona and demeanor is calm and inviting and so too is the space she created for her guests. Raquele is genuinly a non judgemental and nice person to talk to. She has inspired me to be a better person, daughter and friend to the people in my life.
