The employees there looked into it, confirmed there was an issue, and suggested I contact Rise Up customer service. I took pictures and sent the exact card pictures to the email website as directed. Also, it takes them a good minute to respond to an email just an fyi. After reaching out, I was told their records showed a zero balance, but no meaningful explanation or resolution was offered. What makes this especially concerning is that all four cards appeared to have gone from their full value directly to a zero balance, rather than being used gradually for coffee purchases. That seems unusual and left me wondering what happened. I appreciate the helpful staff at the Severna Park location, but I was disappointed that customer service didn't investigate further or offer any assistance. I hope Rise Up reviews its gift card processes and does more to help customers in situations like this.
