Went for a date day with my little daughter- we ordered a smoothie & a granola bowl- both were packed with ingredients, but the ingredients weren't really what we expected. For my bowl: The caoaco nigs were actually chocolate chip morsels- the coconut shaving was coconut sweet flakes- the fruit chunks were smaller than expected. This, factoring in the price, doesn't put them high on my 'yummy acai bowl spot' list- For my daughter's smoothie, she ordered a chocolate banana pb- and we added in blueberries, but they pureed them in, where the photo had them looking big chunks dropped- and she was a bit upset. The place had great bright, clean nice couches ambiance- but it did take awhile as the only people there to actually get our items because they fill a lot of doordash tickets behind the scenes. I'm so glad I was able to find this juice bar! I was looking for a place that sells açaí bowls, and I found the right place! Nekter has very cozy seating and it's also spacious inside, so I dined in. They make fresh juices, smoothies, and others. I ordered the açaí banana berry bowl, and it was delicious. It was topped with granola, strawberry, banana, blueberry, and honey. Black owned and they make açaí bowls?! Say less! I stopped in specifically to try the açaís bowls at Nekter Juice Bar and they did not disappoint! Of course you can order inside Nekter, which is what I did, but they do encourage you to order on the app. They of course have açaí bowls, but they also have smoothies, fresh pressed juices, wellness shots and any and every protein you can imagine. Everything is customizable. I ordered the banana berry açaí bowl, but changed from the cashew milk to coconut water. It was delicious! Fresh, a healthy portion and the granola was perfect! The atmosphere is cute and has a nice size area to sit and eat or drink your treats inside. They also have a few tables and chairs in front. A great healthy option to eat/drink. I came here to try out this juice spot. I actually got a smoothie and substituted the cashew milk for coconut water. It was delicious and the shop was really quick. Definitely a place to sit and relax or have a business being. Unfortunately, this place has nuts in pretty much everything, so those who have a nut allergy should stay away because it's hard for them to prevent cross contamination. I ended up ordering the Popeye's Açaí smoothie. The consistency was nice and thick but still drinkable through the straw. It wasn't sweet which was nice and felt like I was having something healthy without all the added sugar. I chatted a bit with the wife who is running the store with her husband.
