Visited after the 2016 Indianapolis 500. They have a nice variety of go kart tracks, (Two outdoor which are gas powered, and 2 Indoor which are electric, one of which is for the little kids) a small arcade and FANTASTIC pizza. If you plan on visiting, I'd arrive early, buy an all day pass, and make a day out of your visit. Now, on their website, they advertise a 'slip track' where the karts are supposed to be able to drift around corners with specially designed tires, and it's supposed to be more difficult. In actuality, they use the same karts as their other outdoor track, but they spray a little bit of grease on the track in a couple of corners. (During my visit, they only did this twice throughout the day and the effects wore off after 2-3 races.) It basically ends up driving the same as their other track. It's still a lot of fun, and if you happen to be in town for a race weekend, I'd definitely recommend stopping by. read more

11yr old grandson was cursed out by an adult who was upset he was cut off going into a curve. Is this really the place to take your child when security is notified and nothing done to the adult? Not a place for children. I would not recommend! read more

The place all around was pretty fun. But the staff here is horrible because they all seemed very lazy at what they were doing and were jerks to the kids. They were supposed to be cleaning the seats to keep everyone safe and they would spray one small squirt on the seat so they could hurry up and get back to talking with their friends...none of them care what so ever about the customers and just care about being there to make money. Did a birthday celebration here and the kids loved it. They were in heaven and played and drove their hearts out. Meanwhile there were plenty of places for the grown ups to sit and relax while they did their thing. Excellent experience and value in my opinion. Had a great time. Go karts were in good shape. Most of the staff were cool. And for once, an arcade where all of the machines are working AND give out a reasonable amount of tickets. And the pricing is reasonable. If they had a buffet and gaming option, it'd be 5 stars. Just give the buffet a different colored bracelet, and put the food and all in another room with 1 employee checking bracelets. Not a lot to put out, cost wise, but I bet you could make some $$$$$. :-) overall, a great value for your money, especially in Indianapolis. read more

Our very first experience at Rascal's left a very good impression! I reserved a birthday party for my son at "That Fun Place" in Greenwood, not knowing that one had been closed. We had to find something last minute & although Rascal's did not have the wait staff to cater a party, they were very accommodating in giving us a good price on bracelets after hearing my sob story. Absolutely love this place. I really miss when we had one close to us on the East side. They are always offering different specials, and coupons in the mail. Great family experiences and not too hard on the budget. We drive approximately 30 -40 minutes to get to Rascal's and it is always so much fun. Rascals is a joke. inconsistent staff, workers that will let a child on the carts one night, come back a week later and due to the manager and owner being there miraculously my son was to short to ride the rides. The managers are a joke and have no idea what customer service is, and the owner was there but couldn't take time out of being busy to coming address the issue with me, only to be helping in the arcade 10 minutes later , I will never return! If you are considering rascals I wouldn't waste your money . The bowling area is a lame and tiny, as well as having one track where the smaller kids can ride. Not at all worth the money read more

I've been going to rascals ever since I can remember. It is always super fun. Now that I'm older it is a fun place to go for a date! Going on a week night is the best idea because then it isn't as busy. But for two people to ride go carts for an hour it's only $25.50! Especially in the winter when dates are getting more expensive or super cold. read more

Each of my kids has had a birthday party at Rascal's and the staff makes a great fuss over them - not just a half-hearted bit of singing over cake, but the whole time they're playing the staff makes them feel special by letting the birthday kid have the pick of go-karts, first pick at ice-cream, etc. I've also seen the staff work with a reluctant kid to get him started racing and he had a blast once he got over his initial fear. Finally they don't nickel and dime you - if there isn't a line they run the races longer, and will let a kid bowl an extra game. Note also that they are very safety conscious - if the kid is not tall enough he will not ride the rides, they make sure you are buckled in properly on every ride and if someone on track is reckless or aggressive they will get prohibited from the track. However - they have separate tracks for kids 45" tall to slow race and for adults & kids 60" tall for fast racing. Don't hassle the staff about this, because their safety-mindedness really does make it a better time for all. Finally, the staff hustles - if someone's stuck on track, they run out to resolve the issue. Check their website for coupons too. read more

I attended a birthday party at this location on Sept.11,2011 and it was a miserable experience. The party was scheduled for 2:30pm and at 4pm we were still waiting for any sign of food or beverage,when we finally found the party rep to ask what was going on, her response was sorry we were forgotten about with all the parties scheduled. Luckily kids were occupied by games and gocarts but that is an unacceptable wait. We had dispute with manager at end of party with extra charge for additional bracelets that were paid by parent and had to prove with receipt,which was fine,BUT also show bracelets that was on both boys'arms as evidence. Once again I will say this party was a disappointment and the gift certificate sent to "make things right" when another visit is wanted is a lame way to provide good customer service. read more

Was really disgusted about this place I have never seen a place never cleans off the tables for their customers all the tables were dirty nobody around to clean them and when you order something to eat you had to stand and hold your food to eat don't think I'll be back to this place this was my first time being there and I really was not impressed read more

A friend and I visited Rascal's Fun Zone today and it was far from fun. We showed up around 4 to play on the go karts. We're both in the military so we were able to get all day passes for $20 instead of 24$. Not a horrible discount and we appreciated it. We played on the one open outdoor track a couple times while we waited for the other to open. So we walk back inside and ride a bit on the indoor track. After a race or two we start to walk back outside and notice it's pouring down raining. We only went to Rascal's to play on the go karts and were told we could. We walked up to the guy at the counter and said can we get a refund or at least wrist bands for a different day, since we had only been there for 25-30 minutes. He says he can't but we can play a free game of mini bowling. Are you kidding me? I just spent $20 to ride some go karts, not play mini bowling with some little kids or play on a depressingly empty single indoor track for hours. We asked the manager and he said he couldn't give us a refund either. We both felt VERY ripped off and stolen from. I'm not happy. I will absolutely not recommend Rascal's and I urge everyone reading this not to go. I'm filing a dispute with my bank and Rascal's. It's not right that I should be ripped off, even a dollar. Rascal's and their managers should value their business and customers more. read more

I have just had the worst experience! So for no reason I wasn't allowed to drive anymore and I had to ride with somebody which their reason was i had my foot out of the cart which I never did at any point. Maybe it flew in air On a hard turn once but that's it! Then after that me and my friend were stopped in the middle of the track for supposedly bumping a kid when he was behind us which is impossible and the kid was hitting me and the other person in the cart with me and the other person on the track (my other friend) and they didn't say shit to him then then they kept slowing down our cart! Also they never gave us an explanation! So then after that we went to the manager so we first gave him the rundown on what happened to me first and one of the workers was there he he was like oh yeh u did that so we were like whatever that's bullshit and then we were like there goes that then we gave the manager the run down and he said we were trying to split the two parties up and we said why didn't he get warned and the manager was like he probably didn't just at a different time and we said no we would've saw it or heard it then the manager said since there is 30-40 min left till closing he said u guys are just kicked off go carts for rest of night u can do bowling and arcade and that's it we're like why is he kicked off our friend who never got "warned" ever why is he kicked off he didn't give us a straight answer and we were just like whatever this is bullshit so yeh we 99% won't come back!!! read more

I have been riding go carts here since I was a young boy, no matter what every time I have been everyone has a blast! I seriously suggest to anyone looking for a good time for the whole family. Very fun go carting place that has fun for everyone, there's a small track for children that goes around 8 mph, there's an indoor slick track that goes around 20 mph (my favorite) and finally an older outdoor that is defiantly the coolest track, but has really old go carts and are not quite as fast, and finally, there's a larger faster track for people 60 inches tall and up that is pretty awesome! read more
