On the day of service, was told the single color processing pretty much means root touch up because Groupon doesn't allow them to put "root touch up". (I've seen other salons use root touch up on Groupon) The value of the package I purchased is $125. Which includes single process color regular price per their website. They want to up-charge additional $60 in addition to the groupon. When I asked why they said they're not getting the money because it's Groupon? I had no warning when making the appt over the phone. My hair length is literally pass my shoulder it's not even that long. Since I drove so far to come here, I decided to just stick to this and accept the up charge. My colorist comes by and tries her best to help me. I had several questions and she got tired of answering them so she went to the back to call her boss who left for the day to dismiss me. I'm sorry I had questions. I even agreed to get robbed by the up charge price and in the end was sent out the door because "they can't help me" Never been treated this way at any salon Groupon or no Groupon. I've had colored hair for the last 20 years and never had a colorist give me such a hard time and most importantly being dismissive. Customer service here is as sourer as their lemonade. Will never return.

No more than an hour. I am used to a haircut taking 1.5 - 2 hrs but also I was paying about half as much. I like to think I am not too picky about my hair. A change literally and figuratively every now and then is nice though. The staff here are really nice. The guy there at the time was apologizing about some bottle situation and he thought I took it that he was apologizing to me. I was too tired to respond because of my exhausting day but he was real cool too. The same guy had cool hair colors and a matching shirt. I forgot to comment on it but it was very stylish and authentic feeling. They started doing a Brazilian hair process (Balayaga) but I think only one guy can do that process. I didn't feel that process would be something that would suit me well but it is cool that they offer it. Parking has a few spaces in the back and some in the front but the front ones back onto the main street which is annoying. Credit card payments can't include tip which is slightly inconvenient on customer's end but easier on the staff The front entrance is at the main road but they were nice enough to let me through the back.

I found Classic Hair and Nails Studio. I was there at 10am when they opened and I was first in line, as a small crowd had gathered before they opened. They washed my hair twice and conditioned it first. The hairdresser was waiting for me when they finished. I explained the bad experience I had and she said that the former hairstylist (if you can call her that) did not cut my hair properly. She even went so far as to say that it was the worst haircut she'd ever seen. Which I concurred. She really gave me a lot of attention and a gorgeous style. She thinned it out and gave it lots of layers. It has a timeless style that I can do multiple things with now. I plan to return in two weeks and have a complete color and highlights done. I just moved to the area and was in desperate need for a good cut to bring back my curl pattern. My last cut was not so good, so needless to say I was super happy to find Jalena's via Yelp, and being only 13 minutes from me, win win!!! They take walk ins and there is metered parking in the front. I went on a Tuesday, and found a spot right in front. The place is neat and comfy. They only take cash, but they do have an ATM in the back. I had stopped in The previous Saturday to get a feel for the place and they were very busy. I asked for the curl expert because I have really fine curly hair which can get frizzy, and if not cut properly look awkward. I was guided to Elizabeth and so finally on Tuesday, today, I got to see her to fix this mess lol. The salon was pretty empty which I liked, and they get you in the shampoo chair as soon as you get in. This was one of THE best shampoos I have gotten, albeit a bit rough, but it sure gets all that product residue out. Their products smell AMAZING!!! This day I got the perk of a free heat deep conditioner, which I welcomed happily. They were a bit short staffed so that was the perk and I didn't mind waiting. This hair needed some love! While I was under the dryer I saw Evelyn work on some people and she is efficient and knows what to do with all hair types. I watched her put in some extensions and they were flawless. I was excited to be next! She asked me what I needed and I explained my last hair cut wasn't layered enough. She went in, worked her magic and immediately I felt my curls bounce back! Just with a good cut! She asked me first the length prior to cutting and I was happy with her suggestion. I had to get back to work so I didn't have time for a blow out, but she put some product in my hair, clipped it up and stuck me under the dryer so the curls can have some form. All I can say is GRACIAS BELLA!!! She was efficient, attentive, sweet, and knowledgeable!! I have a wedding to go in a few weeks and most certainly will be back to get it styled.
