I have never written a review in my life but after receiving excellent care from Dr. Bidgoli, I had to write a review about my care. After having a nasty experience with a local dentist in my area, I found this Endodontist on my insurance website and then looked her up on yelp. After reading reviews about her, I decided to call and make an appointment. Her receptionist Tara answered the phone and making an appointment with them was as easy as 123. Tara was very helpful and went above and beyond to help me and made sure I understood everything regarding my care. After meeting Dr Bidgoli, I was very impressed. She is very friendly while also very professional. She is refreshingly honest and is only interested in doing the right thing and what is best for the patient. I went in for a re-treatment of a root canal. Before starting the procedure she explained that there was a possibility that my tooth would be cracked but that she would not know for sure until she looked under the microscope as a crack cannot be seen on an x-ray. (my tooth kept getting re-infected, thus the possibility of a crack). After starting the procedure, she found my tooth to have been cracked and immediately stopped treatment to discuss the implications of the cracked tooth. She told me what options I had and gave me time to make up my mind regarding what I wanted to do without putting any pressure on me. In the end I opted for an extraction because my tooth could not be saved and Dr Bidgoli recommended an excellent oral surgeon to remove the tooth. I will be going back for an implant in a few weeks. I am very happy with the care that Dr Bidgoli and her staff, especially Tara provided to me. They were kind and understanding of my situation and were willing to work with me for a happy outcome. Dr Bidgoli is awesome! I would recommend Dr Bidgoli any day and a million times fold. Dr Bidgoli is the REAL DEAL. I really wish more dentists were like her. read more

I hadn't been to the dentist in ages. Poor last encounter that shattered my belief in the dentistry profession. When I recently experienced a massive toothache I went to the dentist my wife goes to and he referred me to Dr. Bidgoli for a root canal. I was extremely apprehensive however during the consultation visit, Dr. Bidgoli came across as caring about the patient not the size of their wallet. So when I went back to actually get the root canal, my face had swollen due to an infection and I was taking a pain killer which shows how much the tooth needed fixing. It took some time to get me numbed up but Dr. Bidgoli went at my pace not hers and put me at ease. Once numbed up she performed the root canal. I had heard horror stories of the discomfort after a procedure like this, however I can honestly say there was no pain in the least. I eventually went to work took no pain medicine, took no aspirin, nothing. Her touch was outstanding as I never felt anything after the Novocain wore off. So in a week I need to go back for the permanent filling. However I will now have the knowledge of what an excellent Dentist she is. There is no apprehension as in days past. She has truly reinstated my trust in the dentistry profession. So if your looking for an outstanding dentist go visit Dr. Bidgoli. The entire staff is professional and very pleasant. Tara at the front desk will set you at ease, Dr. Bidgoli will take care of the issue with patience, honest caring and treats her patients with absolute focus. I can't thank her and her staff enough. I went to dr. Bidgoli after a bad tooth incident with an elbow to the face. I was very upset at first because my tooth had blackened, and I was embarrassed with how it looked. This really took a hit to my self esteem, so you can imagine my face when I was told that I needed to get a root canal and there was no chance of whitening strips being effective. Fast forward to the root canal, I was very nervous, but the calming music during the operation soothed me and the tone of the situation immensely. The operation went extremely smoothly and she worked diligently on my tooth to take out the infected root. I was told after the root canal that if the operation was done correctly, there was a small chance my tooth could get whiter and an even smaller chance my tooth would look normal. I noticed my tooth was whiter than it was before 30 minutes after the operation had concluded, and I attribute the fact of my tooth whitening to dr. Bidgoli's superior technique. Now, after the final check up on my tooth I am beyond pleased and grateful to dr. Bidgoli's great work. If you are at all considering getting endodontist work done in the DMV area, dr. I went in for my first root canal, a root canal and fixing of an old crown that gone bad and therefore became abscessed. Now everyone has heard stories about root canals. Dr Bidgoli put all of them to rest! She is an extremely caring doctor with a lot of experience and education behind her. Dr. Bidgoli explained my options and everything she was going to do prior to starting and she was very patient in answering all my questions. She and her team are true professionals at what they do. During the procedure Dr. Bidgoli and her team kept checking to make sure I was OK. I was comfortable and the procedure was absolutely pain free. I genuinely felt nothing at all during the procedure and this was due to the fact that I was in highly capable hands that not only administered my numbing shot without pain, but was quick and skilled with her hands, making the procedure pass quickly. Dr. Bidgoli prescribed a pain killer just in case but I had no need to take any what-so-ever. I simply did not experience any discomfort after the procedure. Yesterday I completed my root canal procedure with Dr. Bidgoli. Prior to my appointment, I was somewhat worried as many of my friends and colleagues who have had the procedure don't have had horrible experiences with other dentists or endodontists. However I can say that I had a great experience with Dr. Bidgoli. She put all of my worries away. I had previously been terrified with the oral needles for anesthesia and have had bad experiences with them. With Dr. Bidgoli I could barely feel a thing!!! I can say that I felt zero pain during the procedure!!! She really knows what she is doing. The pain I had immediately after the procedure was minor. Not only that, she was very thoughtful and kind throughout the process constantly checking to see how I was doing! Her and her staff were very professional and kind as well. I went there for a diagnostic examination, and was visited by Dr Majlessi, Dr. Bidgoli's associate. Dr Majlessi is a wonderful doctor and is well-versed in the latest and greatest in Endo science and technologies. She also knows what's good for the patient and provided advice on the best treatments for my tooth. I went there thinking I'd have to do root canal on my tooth but was thrilled when she told me I did not need a root canal and could save my tooth with a simple procedure. I also asked her about the microscope they had in the office and she patiently explained to me how they use it for performing root canal procedures. Her kind and patient attitude in taking time to making sure I received the best treatment for my tooth was very comforting. Dr. Bidgoli is the consummate professional. Excellent endodontist. It was the best experience I've ever had. The procedure she performed with laser-focused precision, and it didn't hurt, as she knew how to prep the patient with anesthesia. And, oh, those tender hands that made me comfortable, as she applied just the right degree of pressure on my root-canal tooth. You could tell she is expert at her craft. And the music is soothing, re-assuring, mystical. I could not ask for more from her staff, Tara and Susana, who are very nice people, just like Dr. Bidgoli. I usually don't write reviews and less for a doctor but this time is different. I was looking for an Endodontist because I needed a root canal. I decided to visit Dr. Bidgoli because of the good reviews I saw here in Yelp. I have to say that it was the right decision. Dr. Bidgoli and her team treated me very nice. Also, and probably the most important factor, it did no hurt at all. Her tools and techniques are so good that I hardly felt anything during the entire procedure. I have to emphasize on this because I'm very afraid of dentists (endodontists) and she has proved to me that there are some out there that can do the job without causing pain. I was up and went shopping right after I left her office. I had lunch an hour later and did not had to take any pain medication during the entire day. I've seen Dr. Bidgoli twice now and have had an amazing experience both times. Both visits were for root canals on my front teeth (result of a bad dentist in the past). My latest experience with Dr. Bidgoli was for a root canal on my front tooth which had a cap already in place. This makes for a very tricky procedure as the cap can potentially break. Dr. Bidgoli expertly completed the procedure and I didn't have any issues with my cap! The office is quiet and very clean. The receptionist was able to get me a last minute consultation appointment and they were also able to get me an earlier appointment for my root canal when a time opened up in the schedule. Dr. Bidgoli answered all my questions and concerns for both procedures. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an endodontrist in the area (I still drive from Arlington to see her). read more

I wish I could give Dr. Bidgoli 10 stars! I had a failed root canal from a different endodontist (NOT Dr. Bidgoli) who couldn't find a rogue canal. Dr. Bidgoli saw the canal on the X-ray but couldn't find it in my mouth so she closed me up, sent me home, then consulted with a radiologist to figure out how to get to the canal. I came back in today and, armed with the new location info, found it and successfully completed the root canal! She went SO far above and beyond to figure out what was going on that I am eternally grateful. Had she not done that, I would have needed an extraction & implant. As if her thoroughness & persistence weren't enough, she was amazingly pain free. I mean ZERO pain which has NOT been the case with other endodontists. I was referred by my dentist due to a severely infected tooth that I had a root canal done on many years earlier (not by Dr. Bidgoli) and required a second root canal to be done on it. Dr. Bidgoli was able to schedule an initial consultation within 1 day and explained what needed to be done, as well as risks, and set my expectations so I could make an informed decision. She has an excellent practice including her well trained staff. I noticed her technique for novicain injection was the most comfortable I had ever had. I found her on yelp and went to see her after a Root canal mess up by my dentist. Dr Bidgoli comes across as a dead honest, straightforward endodontist, which seems like a rarity in this profession! I had lost trust in the doctors overall but she really seems to be only interested in helping the patient rather than making money and business.
