My child's previous dentist is about 35-40 minutes drive depending on the traffic. I had enough of that commute and decided to look for a dentist nearby. Checking all reviews online, I decided this is it! Best decision ever! A pano (that my child's previous dentist forgot to show me) and a set of bite wings was taken last year and because I didn't have the drive to travel that far anymore to retrieve them, I had Ashburn Divine Dental do all the necessary x-rays again. And that turned out to be a blessing in disguise! Dr. Lulu Lin found what my child's previous dentist might've missed on her pano. I'm very grateful for this dentist! I have a young adult relative who is terrified of dentists. She will literally have panic attacks. She lives in West Virginia and they have absolutely terrible dentists where she lives. Therefore we scheduled an appointment to go to our dentist during the week she visited us. The dentist gave her a prescription of Valium to calm her down before the appointment. The Valium really worked (my relative said while high / inebriated on Valium,"I don't think I even care at this point what happens at the dentist" - LOL) and my relative had a very gentle, non-painful experience getting her 6 month check up. The dentist then went to his office with her and he answered all the questions she had about her teeth. We are all very grateful things worked out well and we are also grateful for the dentists taking their time with a person who has almost a phobia when it comes to dentists. read more

My family has been a collective user of Divine Dental for many years and we have never had anything other than first class care. Years ago I lost a filling that was most of a tooth surface. Dr. Lulu said she wanted her husband to take a look and could I return the next morning. I returned, expecting him to recommend a cap however after he examined it he said he could make a repair right then. Also indicated that any future problems with the same tooth would require it be capped. I has been almost 4 years and only a minor polishing of one edge has been required. My old dentist was all about capping teeth so Dr Phanith and Dr. Lulu were then and still are a breath of fresh air. If you try them you won't be sorry. read more

I had about 16 fillings and 2 root canals that I am almost finished with taking care of thanks to Drs. Lin and Lim. The experience from the front desk to the time on the dental chair was actually quite enjoyable! I talked with Dr. Lim quite a bit. He is very affable and and good at his job, as his is his wife. Thank you Yelp for helping me find my new dentist. I was in search of a new dental office who also had Saturday hours. I thought I would give this place a try since it had such great reviews. I made my appointment mid-week and was in the following Saturday. Talk about quick. Everyone was super friendly on the phone and in person. Upon arrival, since I was a first time patient, I had the traditional paperwork to complete before being seen. Shortly after completion, I was taken back to have x-rays completed. Their equipment is very up-to-date and the decor is modern. The place was squeaky clean (which is what you want when you have someone about to dig in your mouth right?)! The x-rays went without a hitch and it even played music and spoke instructions to you. Ha...guess I am easily amused! After those x-rays, the young man took me back to my chair where HGTV was playing on the television. He then performed the last set of x-rays then prepared me for my cleaning. The dentist, Dr. Lin, came in and was very nice. She reviewed my x-rays, gave me the thumbs up, and started my cleaning. It was the best cleaning I have ever received. My bottom front region is very sensitive so I hate dentist who like to pick, pick, and pick some more. Dr. Lin uses the ultrasonic (hope that is correct) cleaning method instead of the manual scaling. This was great because not only was it faster, it was less painful and delivered the same great outcome. After cleaning and polishing, she asked if I had any questions and that was that. Another great note is that they offer free at-home teeth whitening for their customers. Since I had trays, I asked if I could just have the treatment. Side bar: If you do not already have trays, they will make some for you. It is a 35% solution so you may experience some 'zingers' if you are not familiar with this method of whitening. It has been roughly a week and it has been great for me. I use it every other day because of my sensitive teeth I mentioned above. Still, no 'zingers' and my teeth are whiter. This is a great dental office if you are in need of a new place. They offer Saturday hours and whitening is FREE. If you decided to give them a try, tell them Eboni sent you. I recently moved to Colorado and was in town visiting family and friends, and decided to see if they had any openings during my visit. To my surprise they were able to squeeze me in with a couple days notice! I was glad to return back to Dr. Lim and Dr. Lin's practice for my routine cleaning, for doctors and staff are always professional, clean, polite, and are very welcoming. All went well with the cleaning, check-up, and x-rays. Had a great time chatting with them and seeing the progress of their immaculate office. When my family of 4 moved here from the west coast last year, it was kind of intimidating seeing all the dentist offices in Ashburn and Leesburg, knowing that we'd have to find a new dentist. I guess it's better to have more choices than no choices, but still. I read a lot of great reviews and passed a few other dentist offices on the drive to get here. I'm the designated family guinea pig that tries out new dentists before the rest of the family, so off I go. It's in a building on Ashburn Rd, the same building with the Wine'ing Butcher (excellent reuben and cubano btw.) Easy parking. Nice, clean, modern office. Staff behind the desk was helpful and very nice. I had x-rays done, a very nice hygienist and Dr. Lim did my cleaning. No pain, super gentle. He even did the measurement test thing where he checks to see how well my gums are sticking to my teeth. I don't know what it's called, but when my previous dentist in LA would do this, I'd get little sharp stinging pains occasionally. But Dr. Lim was great, no pain at all. He had some funny stories and seems like a really nice guy. There was a TV with Netflix above my chair. What a great place. Before I left I made my next cleaning appointment and also appointments for my kids (13 & 11). When my kids went, they both had Dr. Lin, and they had great experiences as well. Probably the most honest Dentist I've met in my 58 years. Dr. Panith Lim was thorough, pleasant, explained everything in detail and was very professional. Prior to seeing Divine Dental I went to Costa Dental, which is the opposite of Divine Dental. Costa told me I needed $10,000.00 worth of dental work despite the fact that I brush and floss regularly and see a dentist every 6 months. Dr. Panith Lim said that I needed no dental work and my teeth were absolutely fine. It's scary to think that there are Dentist's out there that are as dishonest as Costa, but pleasant to know that there are still honest Dentists left, like Dr. Panith Lim. I typically have a good experience but was disappointed with my routine cleaning. I was in and out in 15-20mins. I felt the cleaning was rushed and not thorough. My appointment was at the end of the day and it felt like it. With that being said the Drs are very pleasant and I am hoping I just caught them on a off day. As soon as I entered the clinic, I felt welcomed by not only the secretary and Dr. Lim, but also by the look of the office. The vivid colors as well as the modern look made me forget about my toothache. I was welcomed with a bright smile and a friendly assistance. As soon as I sat down in the waiting room, I saw 2 iPads place there for patients to do something while they either wait, or their family members do some activities while waiting for them. I chose Ashburn Divine because of their excellent reviews on Yelp and Google. I went in for a checkup and cleaning and was satisfied with the work I had done. But a couple negatives put me off of this place. First, every patient does NOT receive a whitening kit as they claim on their site. Second, after my cleaning I had a couple questions to ask my Dr, but she had already moved on to another patient. I emailed them my concerns and I never heard back. Maybe I should have hung around and waited for my chance to ask questions and get my whitening kit. Sorry my first Yelp review is negative. read more

As someone who had serious apprehension when going to the dentist, I am so happy that I have found Ashburn Divine Dental! I used to be the type of person that waited until I was in pain to go to the dentist but Dr. Lim and Dr. Lin have cured me of my fear. Their calm demeanor and the fact that they sit you down and explain the procedure that is being done, show you and point out where your problem areas are on your x-rays are is why I go to them again and again. read more

I had a mildly aching tooth for several weeks which progressively and quite quickly worsened. I had been looking for a dentist in the area and found Ashburn Divine Dental through many strong recommendations. I was not disappointed. I had my initial appointment with Dr Lim and he explained to me in a way that I could understand, the process that was required to get my crown lengthened and that I might possibly need a root canal. The following days my tooth (#18) became unbearably painful. Probably the worst unrelenting pain I had ever felt not alleviated by pain medicine. I had a sleepless night. Had to work the next day and mentioned this to Dr Lim who told me that I probably did need a root canal at that point and that I should schedule an appointment with an endodontist. I made the appointment. By the middle of the day at work the pain was so bad he told me that he would be willing to see me when I got off at 7pm! I don't like to inconvenience people but I did not think I could go one more night so I humbly accepted his offer. I met him and he quickly numbed me and started a root canal process which at the end brought tremendous pain relief!! I was so thankful for him. His willingness to go out of his way to help me. I slept so well that night and thanked him again for everything. I still have a couple more followups but as of now, I'm 100% improved. Dr Lim has a great sense of humor and bedside manner. Makes you feel very comfortable even amidst times of pain and anxiety. He thoroughly explains everything clearly and concisely and answered all my questions. I live about 45min away but don't hesitate to say that it's worth the drive. Definite recommendation to anyone in or out of the area looking for quality family dental care! read more

I usually use yelp to help me find good places to use but wasn't really happy with this place at all. The mirrors and tools looked scratched up and old and the drill looked like it might have had the green paste on it from the patient before... Dr Lin really dug into my gums. Not usually one to be scared of the dentist but my experience here was really rough and my mouth was very sore. The doctors and staff were nice enough but not a good experience for me. read more
