Dr. Tahhan and staff are the absolute best of the five Dental offices I've been to in NOVA over the past 24 years. 7 months ago I had severe tooth pain and got right in. Tooth had already had a root canal, not amenable to re-treatment, so I opted for an implant. Tooth was extracted, an advanced material placed where the tooth was located to help healing and avoid dry socket. 3 months later implant was inserted with no issue. 3 months after that the abutment was inserted and a week later the crown was installed. Luxury dental care, close to home again. The doctors, staff, and atmosphere is comforting, clean, and professional. They work with you on payment plans if you cannot afford an upfront cost of any work. Very quick services and to be honest, my nerves were set at ease. I explained to the doctor that, I can't take any kind of dental pain. The noise itself drives my nerves to atmospheric heights. With grace and excellence, he consistently checked in on me, as did his assistants. I felt nothing and even post procedure had little pain. I am very grateful and happy to be a new patient. It was 7:30 pm and my wife was carrying my youngest son on her back saying that he had just crashed his bike and needed to go to the hospital. I asked what was wrong. He had hit his face on the ground and one of his permanent teeth was wiggling. I told my wife that we needed to take him to a dentist and the hospital wouldn't be able to do anything. Our dentist was closed so I looked for an emergency dentist. One was listed in Ashburn but they were closed at the time. I called Titan. I got a recording that asked me to press 1 for an emergency. I was connected to the dentist who was driving home. The dentist asked how soon I could be in his office. I told him in ten minutes. He said he would meet us at his office. While I filled out the forms, He took an X-Ray of my son. He told us that there was nothing bad. The tooth was not broken and the movement of the tooth was less than 1 mm. He said that we didn't need a split for the tooth. He told us to make sure our son ate only soft foods. We were grateful for the good news and grateful that we were able to get this good news without waiting through the weekend. read more

This goes few years back. I had a dry socket after an extraction and it was a weekend where I couldn't find any dentist office open. I came across Dr.Rami's office on Google maps that was open 24 hrs. I drove right away to their office as I had too much pain. Dr. RAMI informed me that it's a dry socket and I need stitches. I trusted what he said and at the same time he and his assistants at that time tried to sell me other services including an implant. The services was going to be above 5k and they told me that I will have to pay that upfront and go myself file with my insurance for reimbursement. I declined those services and said I'll just deal with the dry socket today. He did the stitches (surgery) and I walked out and once the Anastasia effect is gone, I was in an unbearable pain. I was believing it's going to settle but it didn't for the whole weekend until I called another dentist and went to their office and all I need was a dental paste to cover that dry socket until it heals. Dr. RAMI, decided not to use it apparently and decided to do unnecessary stitches that did nothing to my pain just so he can submit a big bill to my insurance. Directly from the conference stage to the dental chair! I was whisked away for an emergency dental appointment as soon as my closing segment ended! I fractured a tooth last night at dinner and called an emergency dental line first thing this morning. Imagine my surprise when Dr Rami Tahhan answered the phone himself at 7:30 AM... on a Sunday! I explained what happened and told him that I was in town speaking at a conference but was in pain. He told me he could meet me at his office, Titan Dental Center, as soon as my conference was over. I mean.. how many dentists open up their practice on a Sunday afternoon for a complete stranger! I was so impressed! Dr Tahhan and his staff were so welcoming and accommodating. He made me feel so at ease and explained everything very clearly. The fracture was significant and because it went down to the bone, the tooth had to be extracted and I had to have a bone graft. This is not something that would typically be a pleasant experience, but Dr Tahhan made it one of the best dental experiences I have ever had. A little over one year ago, I discovered a Groupon that offered x-rays, a deep cleaning, and other upkeep services for an amazing price (less than $200). Initially, I was skeptical but heard amazing reviews and even gave Dr. Tahhan a little bit of a phone interview before coming in. (chuckles) For a little background about myself, as a student, an opera singer, and a young artist heavily invested in self maintenance and self-care, finding an amazing dentist has been absolutely essential. Today, almost two years later; and, still, I don't trust anyone else with my dental care except Dr. Tahhan -- without question. I have had deep cleanings, tooth extractions (including horribly impacted wisdom teeth for which other dentists turned away my service), filings; and, presently, I'm starting a treatment plan for my journey with Invisalign and other reconstructive procedures. Not to mention, my wisdom teeth were so bad that Dr. Tahan kindly invited me to have them taken out over the span of a weekend to help with former anxiety while being at the dentist office. What other dental office do you know that not only cares about their patients, treats them as extended members of their professional practice, and opens up their office after hours (on-call services for emergencies)-- all the while ensuring your recovery and well being are primal? I am so happy with this provider. I have gotten regular checkups, fillings, and whitening services. Dr. Tahhan is very gentle, always explains everything, and always, always on time. Or early! I am in and out quickly! The hygienists and office staff (Giselle) are also wonderful. I got whitening last summer and it was worth every penny. Love how my teeth look. I went from having tremendous anxiety about the dentist to not minding it at all. So in a perfect world I wouldn't need any fillings and neither would you. But since it's not a perfect world, I had a couple of fillings today, and I can tell you that the whole process was painless. (Minor discomfort when getting the anesthetic shots and that's it.) Very disappointed with the way they handle appointment and insurance. Scheduled an appointment on September 7th for first available date that works with the doctor September 15th. Provided all the necessary information with my insurance and phone numbers right away. They sent the confirmation text that they work with my insurance and everything is fine the same day. Then on Thursday 9th they asked for additional information and I also provided it right away. Then confirmed the appointment on September 12th. Tomorrow is my appointment and I requested time off from work ahead of time, what cost me one vacation day with my employer. I just got the phone call from the dental office that they do not accept my Delta Dental insurance and want me to pay for the service. Why would you confirm all the insurance information twice and tell me that you accept it and change everything in less than 24 hours before the appointment date? read more

A few moons ago I went here to get a tooth extraction, root canal, and some cavities fixed. I was a patient here for a couple years and Dr. Rami Tahan was pleasant, patient, and taught me about my teeth and how to take better care of them. Every time I saw him was a pleasure. The service is fast most dentist offices that you go to you wait in the waiting room and then in the chair. Here they do not over book. So your wait time is very limited to none. I needed dental care on a Sunday morning, after a night of extreme pain. I got in within 45 minutes of making the call, there was no wait time, and he was extremely helpful. He was able to give me a better explanation for the pain and help resolve than a dentist and an Endodontist I had seen in the same week. He was very knowledgeable and approachable, and explained things in a way that's easy to understand as the patient. This is by far one of the BEST dental experiences I have had. Always apprehensive about any dentist, Dr. Tahhan makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Great, straightforward bedside manner.
