This is the worse employment law firm. Farzad Rastegar was in charge of my lawsuit and he only spoke to me twice in a six month time frame. He never advised me in any way. Basically he just introduced himself which was one of the times I spoke with him and the second time was the last time. The staff would just take messages and had no answer to my questions. My lawsuit was about missing wages, equal pay, and discrimination. Once I started the lawsuit my employer wrote me a check for $400 for missing wages. I did not accept the check. So my employer actually combined my regular pay check earnings with the $400 I rejected for the missing wages. I worked for 4years with the company and knew they owed me way more than just $400. At the time I had direct deposit and my employer had combined the check and it was a successful deposit. I tried to speak with my employer in regards to what was done the combination of my regular earnings with the amount of missing wages which they refused to take back. I finally got through after calling so many times and emailing this firm so much. This was the second time I spoke with Mr. Rastegar and the last. I told him what happened and he said he could no longer help me nor represent me. He was officially dropping my lawsuit. According to him it doesnt matter how many wages you're actually missing what matters is that something was paid and thats all the judge will care about. So since I received a $400 check through direct deposit the judge will see that and drop the lawsuit. I was angry, devastated and extremely stressed. If I would of known I would of removed my direct deposit from my employer. I tried searching for other lawyers to take my case and no one would. Once I did that I realized there was a lien on my case. So apparently Mr. Rastegar wants easy money doesn't want to fight for your case. He will drop your case because supposedly you no longer have one yet he will put a lien on it so when you do find a lawyer thats willing to fight for you the money will be split in three ways. Money for your new lawyer, money for your old lawyer and money for you if theres any left. Most lawyers will not want to split the money they do not like cases that have liens on them. So my advice is do not hire this law firm. Before you decide on a law firm ask about liens. If you sue your employer cancel your direct deposit before starting the lawsuit. Have documentation to prove it. In order for them to remove the lien on my case they wanted me to put a fake great review about them. They put a 40% lien on a case that they dropped because its supposedly no longer a case does that make any sense. read more

When I started my lawsuit I was told several times that there was no point. It hadn't escaped me that cases involving the types of issues I'd encountered had little chance of surviving in court, but I also felt deeply that a wrong had been done. I took a chance on Rastegar and they took a chance with me. The process is not an easy one. Of course you will feel very passionately about your problems, they are your issues, it's your case. Your case may not be unfounded... just hard to prove. This and many other issues will arise as your case continues. Rose Sorial didn't seem to care about any of this. She had a job, she did the job. To put it in the most simple terms Rose, Ryan Aliman and everyone who from the team at Rastegar listened to me and got me results when no one really wanted to take my case. At the very least I wanted to stimulate a more balanced, unbiased look at the cracks in the foundation of the entity I chose to file suit against. I more than received the result I wanted. I am forever grateful to the entire team for helping me force my ethnic, silenced, overused, under-appreciated, underestimated voice to be heard. Do not hire this firm. The communication sucks. They dropped my case when they were at fault. I lost thousands of dollars that my case was worth and all because Rastegar failed to communicate with me. Never did he advice me on what to watch out for or what to do on a certain situations. Also on their website it states that there is no fees if no recovery no charges etc it is a lie. After they decide to drop my case they wanted to charge me for all of the paper work they did and copies plus put a 40% lien on my case. You know how hard it is to find another attorney to take the case after a previous attorney screwed it over and on top of that wants some of the money yet they didn't want to fight for it. The value of the case is worth less after the mistakes from the first attorney. I was so depressed and crying. This law firm is terrible they caused me more stressed and bills. Please save yourself the trouble. I was even asked to post a fake positive review in order for them to waive some of my fees. I would never do that. I was so shocked how dishonest this firm is. During our meet Mr. Rastegar was courteous and easy to talk to. Although this attorney did not take my case, he went above and beyond to help me. Attorney Rastegar evaluated my case in detail. He explained to me everything I needed to know, and action I need to take. He even pulled out a file from his file cabinet to show me the format of a particular document, as to how my document needs to prepared, and what writings needs to be included in it.
