I had a terrible and emotionally tolling experience with this law firm, particularly with Matt D'Abusco and Leslie Glyer. I had a very long first meeting with both of them where we discussed details of my case, every event with dates and times. I had such a knot in my stomach that I had not eaten or slept in days before or after this meeting. Leslie supposedly took copious notes. They took my case and were supposed to move forward with it, except not much happened. One year later, Matt referred my case to another attorney who was a friend of his. Matt basically referred me to another nightmare, as this new attorney hardly calls back, replies to emails or texts. A year and a half later and not much has happened with this attorney either. I asked Matt for my file and copies of all the notes to provide to the second attorney, but there were no notes, no details in my file. This has been a complete waste of my time and energy, not to mention the insanity you feel when your own attorney blows you off. Your attorney is supposed to be your advocate. One who looks out for you, is honest with you and makes sure the referring attorney is solid. Unfortunately, Matt failed me in all of these. I have had to completely start from scratch with the new attorney whose name I will disclose at a later date. I have also been advised to file a formal complaint. If you ever experience the same neglect, I urge you to react and visit calbar.ca.gov. This is a very hard and emotional journey. You need an attorney who stands by you instead of abandoning you. read more
