Michael was great with my boys (5 and 8 years old). He got their attention in fun ways and got them to cooperate which is tough to do with my kids! He was quick to keep the boys moving and posing during the session so that they didn't have to sit still for very long. And, he was patient and tolerant when they started goofing around. When I returned to view the photos, I was shocked that he got so many good ones because I haven't had that experience in the mall photo places that I've been too. I mean, he really captured their essence with the candids. The prices for the packages varied, and although one of the smallest packages was more than I intended to spend, I felt it was worth it since there were so many pics that I really did want to have, and the package I got includes digital images that I can use for whatever I want (like holiday cards). read more

I found a Groupon and decided to give Ravanelli Photography a try after reading the reviews and previewing the website. This was my baby's first photo shoot and I wanted it to be perfect. Michael was very flexible from the beginning and was able to set up my appointment quickly. On the day of the shoot he was wonderful with my baby boy and helped to keep him focus for the most amazing shots. He was patient and fun. We had our viewing session n all the shots were so awesome it was difficult to choose. I must say the packages are a bit pricey but from what I saw at the viewing session I know it will be so worth it. I chose Michael for newborn photos after he was recommended to me from a fellow parent at my son's school. It was a pleasure communicating with Michael over the phone to prepare the shoot and he sent me an email with the prices and description of how his packages work. I combined the newborn shoot to included a couple shots with my older son. Working with Michael was great. He allowed my son to hang out in his living room until we were ready for him and his studio was a cozy and warm place, perfect to make my newborn comfortable. We used Micheal to photograph our daughters (ages 2 & 4), as well as to get some shots of the family. He was helpful and responsive before our shoot, and he was so great to work with! We had a family session with our infant son, Ayden. It was a difficult shoot as Ayden decided to get cranky as soon as we arrived. The studio did not seem to please the baby, so we took the shoot outside. Where things were much better. With all the crying and stress, he managed to get some beautiful pictures. I just wished the session was longer so that we could properly calm down Ayden for some more pictures. Overall we were very happy with the images, and when we requested some editing on a couple of them, he was very quick to fix the problem. Last Saturday we had the best family photo shoot with Michael. We had to squeeze our shoot in between nap time and a birthday party. My son having just woken from is nap was not cool with the idea of dressing up or having his picture taken. But Michael just let him do his thing until he was ready and worked hard to make him feel comfortable. Finally we were all ready and Michael took the most amazing pictures of the kids and the family in our backyard. Michael had us back to his studio a week later to go through the best of the best. I did it once with my family right before Christmas and I came back for more. First, of all Michael is a real pro - he knows how to make you and your family look the best. Due to a rainy day we held our session in his in home studio and though i was bummed not to get outdoor fall photos he made the experience very enjoyable and he was great with my 2 girls, one of who is very shy and slow to warm up.
