The package with got with Christopher's Studio included an engagement photoshoot, we we chose to us to photograph our western-style wedding clothes (suit and white dress). Chris met us in Nyack and was so great at offering posing suggestions and directing us. He also took our suggestions about shooting at the Nyack Library for some really cool photos. The day of the wedding included Chris and one other photographer whose name I have regretfully forgotten as he was equally wonderful. Leandro's photography is great…read more The problem was that he didn't show because I couldn't wire him the money during my rehearsal dinner because Wells Fargo was closed on Saturday Night. I never was given a contract to sign. Just told that I would get a contract when he was paid. Whatever, so I gave him a check and forgetting that he didn't cash it, I removed the account as cash for all the Vendors on the day of the wedding which was Sunday. Who cashes a check on a Saturday? I couldn't put it back so I transferred the money from another account so Leandro could get his payment but the banks were closed and he said "if you don't pay me in 1 hour, i am not showing up!" This was at my rehearsal dinner!!! I ended up with another photographer of three available who took cash at job site. I would love to know if anyone had an event he shot on June 8, 2014 because he left my job to go to yours. If you had no other plans on a Sunday of June 8th, except my Wedding; why would you quit and refuse to take cash at site of event? tell me only pay pal... Then tell me you are going to a Birthday Party? Leandro only paypals, no charge card processor probably because this is his side job and there are fees to charge machines. I just don't paypal because paypal doesn't have credit card protection and they wouldn't refund my money for package that was never delivered but left at my door supposedly. Oh, and he kept my deposit of $600 as a Engagement Photo Fee, which was included as part of the Wedding Shoot Package. This was agreed but only had we not used him for the Wedding; not if he found something better to do and not show up. Bottom line is... Leandro is good photographer so many would wanna use him and there is a chance that he could find other jobs if you book him and wait to pay him last minute. Marco himself handled our engagement shoot, and he was professional and personable the entire time. He posed my husband and me in many wonderful, romantic shots, making us look and feel very natural and relaxed. He even took a few fun pictures of my mom and her boyfriend who came with us. The photos came out great (we went with an old-fashioned vibe, complete with a classic car), and my husband and I have many hanging in our apartment. One of the studio's other photographers, Rob, as well as the videographer, Tony, handled the photos and video on our wedding day. Both were exceptional. Rob and Tony had contacted me a week before the wedding to go over the timeline, as well as what to expect. On the day of, they were focused -- always knowing exactly what shots they needed next -- as well as fun and personable. Rob and Tony remained with us for over 10 hours (a very long day for anyone), never wavering in their efforts and professionalism.
