This coaster is the best wooden coaster in PA. The view of Lake Erie at the top of the first hill is amazing. Love it!

This was a really fun and unique roller coaster. It features a twist on the conventional wild mouse…read moretype ride in that the cars fit two people facing forward and two people facing backward. The line went fairly fast, we were there on a Friday afternoon. The ride wasn't as smooth as I wished it was, but it was a wild mouse so I guess I should have expected it to jerk around a little.

Hope ya like riding backwards! The Steel Dragon is a variation on the wild mouse and spinning mouse…read morerollercoasters. If you're wondering what wild mouse coasters are, these coasters consist of single mouse-shaped cars seating four. They ride on top of the track, taking tight, flat turns at modest speeds, yet producing high lateral G-forces. Spinning mouses are similar in that the cars, well, spin! I used to think that those coasters spun in a preset pattern, but no they're random. The Steel Dragon differs in two key areas. First of all instead of flat turns, this ride features some high banked turns and semi-inversions. Second of all, the riders sit four to a car, back to back! So what's riding the Steel Dragon like? Well I recommend you ride it twice--once facing forwards and once facing backwards. Because you can get a little queasy riding it, I strongly recommend you ride BEFORE you eat. But anyway, back to that whole forwards/backwards thing. My second trip on it, I sat facing backwards and it's strange, even a little jarring to see where you've been while going up the lift hill. The car stays in a fixed position, going down the first drop (remember, wild mouse coasters don't have high hills) and into a banked s-curve. Then the spinning starts! Mostly it's counter clockwise, but always unpredictable! I'll give the Steel Dragon 3.5 stars. It's a fun ride, true, but when it comes to coasters, I'm more of a traditionalist babe. Give me high drops and airtime hills any day!

I had never been here before in in spite of frequenting the Chautauqua area, my whole life. But, I finally had an occasion because my tiny niece was the perfect age for this place. There were a ton of rides that were perfect for her as a three year-old. Also, they had rides that were good for ages 4 to 6 as well. She really enjoyed the little roller coaster. Watch out that it is actually a little rough for the adults to ride on because it does jerk a little. Also, there were some really cute little boat rides, including one that took took the children around in a circle. There was very little that she was too small to ride on, so it was completely fantastic. Also, we were able to get her a wristband that gave her all inclusive access to rides. For a few rides that do require adult accompaniment for littles, the adult gets to ride free. There's a food spot towards the bottom of the hill and I highly recommend it. I was able to get platters of fries and corn, dogs and pizza, for not too much money. This is a clutch when it came to reducing the chance of overstimulated little kid meltdowns. Also, it was very sunny, and there was very little shade, so bring the sunscreen. Also, they have free boat parking. So, boating over and walking in is a great option if you happen to have or be renting a boat.

It was very crowded, and my kids couldn't see the animals they were excited about. The bathroom had a very long line, as well, and was very unsanitary. There were food trays everywhere, and no one was putting them away!! And Jordan's Forest was unsafe and unclean. My kids wanted to play at the splashpad, but I wouldn't let them because it was so dirty. The staff seemed miserable, and they seemed very annoyed whenever I asked questions!! We left early because my kids were bored and they didn't want to be there anymore. Will not be returning anytime soon. There are many things here that they need to change!!

There was only one nice girl there, who shall remain private, but she found my lost son, and no one else helped. The donuts are pretty good, but other than that! This place is terrible! Horrendous business, do not go here! The staff are not accommodating, there is poop and pee and puke and rats - we're in the middle of Hanta, I cannot be getting a dang virus right now. I've got places to be. It's gross. Bad. Bad experience. There is only one cow, and I feel him. Or her. How do you know what gender your cow is? Flip it over. Get under there. It takes one lil peek, you either see a hole or a peg, it's not rocket science. Jeez. The bees got out in the bathroom. My son is allergic, bad play on my part, taking him to a bee farm? Probably. But I was told the bees would be contained. Not my fault. Shoddy craftsmanship. Never coming back. I'll get my donuts elsewhere. 0/10.
