This coaster is the best wooden coaster in PA. The view of Lake Erie at the top of the first hill is amazing. Love it!

This was a really fun and unique roller coaster. It features a twist on the conventional wild mouse…read moretype ride in that the cars fit two people facing forward and two people facing backward. The line went fairly fast, we were there on a Friday afternoon. The ride wasn't as smooth as I wished it was, but it was a wild mouse so I guess I should have expected it to jerk around a little.

Hope ya like riding backwards! The Steel Dragon is a variation on the wild mouse and spinning mouse…read morerollercoasters. If you're wondering what wild mouse coasters are, these coasters consist of single mouse-shaped cars seating four. They ride on top of the track, taking tight, flat turns at modest speeds, yet producing high lateral G-forces. Spinning mouses are similar in that the cars, well, spin! I used to think that those coasters spun in a preset pattern, but no they're random. The Steel Dragon differs in two key areas. First of all instead of flat turns, this ride features some high banked turns and semi-inversions. Second of all, the riders sit four to a car, back to back! So what's riding the Steel Dragon like? Well I recommend you ride it twice--once facing forwards and once facing backwards. Because you can get a little queasy riding it, I strongly recommend you ride BEFORE you eat. But anyway, back to that whole forwards/backwards thing. My second trip on it, I sat facing backwards and it's strange, even a little jarring to see where you've been while going up the lift hill. The car stays in a fixed position, going down the first drop (remember, wild mouse coasters don't have high hills) and into a banked s-curve. Then the spinning starts! Mostly it's counter clockwise, but always unpredictable! I'll give the Steel Dragon 3.5 stars. It's a fun ride, true, but when it comes to coasters, I'm more of a traditionalist babe. Give me high drops and airtime hills any day!

This is an amusement park, small ,but takes you back to simple times. The park is mainly geared…read moretoward families with smaller children. Free parking and admission. They do have a few adult rides train, gokarts, bumper cars ferris wheeel, and giant slide. Smaller style arcade, clean bathrooms, gift shop, little museum , golf course and food. Reasonable ticket pricing for rides. I remember coming here both as a young child , and adult. I stopped in, honestly after the Beamus 6k, over at Long State Park. The main reason was to just check out park, neat mini golf and get pizza. Yes, I get they were not even quite open an hour when I arrived a little after noon. My reasoning for the 4 star review, no menu or anything listed on pricing for what was sold, or in my case if it was cheese or pepperoni. The young employee, when asked regarding Do you sell pizza, yes, cheese, pepperoni and I asked how much he said $5. A menu of items offered with pricing, would have been helpful.

I had never been here before in in spite of frequenting the Chautauqua area, my whole life. But, I finally had an occasion because my tiny niece was the perfect age for this place. There were a ton of rides that were perfect for her as a three year-old. Also, they had rides that were good for ages 4 to 6 as well. She really enjoyed the little roller coaster. Watch out that it is actually a little rough for the adults to ride on because it does jerk a little. Also, there were some really cute little boat rides, including one that took took the children around in a circle. There was very little that she was too small to ride on, so it was completely fantastic. Also, we were able to get her a wristband that gave her all inclusive access to rides. For a few rides that do require adult accompaniment for littles, the adult gets to ride free. There's a food spot towards the bottom of the hill and I highly recommend it. I was able to get platters of fries and corn, dogs and pizza, for not too much money. This is a clutch when it came to reducing the chance of overstimulated little kid meltdowns. Also, it was very sunny, and there was very little shade, so bring the sunscreen. Also, they have free boat parking. So, boating over and walking in is a great option if you happen to have or be renting a boat.

This place has a ton of washrooms and they are clean. Also Jordan's Forts (not Forest which makes me think he never visited), is fun and guess what? It's outside which means as kids climb all over it gets dirty!!! What a concept!!! We have been going for years with our kids and they are never bored which also tells me he is lying. The staff are an absolute joy and so kind. I'm glad he's not returning, Clovermead doesn't need miserable, vengeful guests like yourself. Check it out for yourself. This place is popular for a reason!

It was very crowded, and my kids couldn't see the animals they were excited about. The bathroom had a very long line, as well, and was very unsanitary. There were food trays everywhere, and no one was putting them away!! And Jordan's Forest was unsafe and unclean. My kids wanted to play at the splashpad, but I wouldn't let them because it was so dirty. The staff seemed miserable, and they seemed very annoyed whenever I asked questions!! We left early because my kids were bored and they didn't want to be there anymore. Will not be returning anytime soon. There are many things here that they need to change!!
