Im glad that the park is back up and running after a hiatus but this is definitely not the park I remember. There may be like 10-12 rides total with the majority being in kiddie land. No complaints of a lot of rides in kiddie land as I have a 19 month old daughter that loved them. You can walk right into the park for free. You can buy a single ride ticket for $5 or ride all day for $10. When we were there Thursday there was a sale and the ride all day were $5. The water park looked new and in great shape. I didn't get to experience that part only the rides. There is direct beach access to a small beach that appeared well kept. They have a nice area for games, maybe about 5 or 6 but the other side is all closed up and looked sad. I will most likely be back but I do hope they make things look alittle nicer. read more

from 1962 thru 2011 , 50 continuous year's & one final return in 2016. our family traveled to & vacationed on these memorable ground's. we'd never ever return now. we're thankful the park was always there for us , anytime we cared to visit . whatever todd joseph , park trustee's, & a judge conspired together to remove more than 127 year's of family's fond memories is beyond reprehensible. read more

This used to be such a lovely and historic family amusement park. I loved visiting. I guess there must be new owners or something because the place is horrible now. They removed all of the classic rides, including the big roller coaster. There's zero maintenance and the place looks really run down and unsafe. It's a shame. read more

Hidden Jem of an amusement park in rural PA. We stopped to ride the Blue Streak; which is their roller coaster. It was pretty frightening! Ticket prices were just right that we just purchased the $10 all day pass and got on the house of terror, carousel, and bumper cars. Good day! There's lots of rides for kids. For free parking, and clean bathrooms, it's a great place to stop if given the time. Touts a 1892 established date. read more

Great family fun! Here for family reunion and it was perfect. This place has changed and definitely for the better. The rides and waterpark are very reasonably priced. The girls truly enjoyed the whole park. You are not waiting very long to get on the ride and that's what they loved. Facility is very clean with great views of the lake. Definitely will return. Any size family would enjoy this with any age of child in mind. read more

I came here this past summer and thought the park was pretty adorable. However, it hurt my heart to see how dilapidated the park was and the attitudes of the employees was equally depressing. The price is just right and there were no lines, but my daughter was the only kid in kiddie land all morning. I didn't realize but they also have a waterpark. I would like to see the park continue on altho Im not sure if we will be back anytime soon due to the horrible experiences we had at the hotel. read more

Great old fashioned park w all the old time rides and midway games. They do a $10 ride all day bracelet that'll let the kids ride the half dozen rides all day long. Pack a picnic lunch and make a day of it or wander down to the old Conneaut Lake Hotel and grab a bite there and watch the leaves change over the lake. It'll bring back memories of your childhood that you'll never get back. It's not Kennywood or Idlewood, so don't expect that but it's a great family park... read more

Pleasant, clean and nice amusement park. The antique merry-go-round reeks of history and features local scenes from 100 years ago to the music of an ancient musical contraption. Was a good place to visit with a disabled person because it's big enough to enjoy, but compact enough that she could walk around the park easily enough. Affordable too, will return before summer is over. read more

I remember the Forth of July fireworks here..... and the Midway,,,, I LOVE this place. The Blue Streak is a legend, and fortunately, one of the rides kept open. Miss the Wild Mouse and Devil's Den, but lots of fun. A true Gem in NW-PA. read more

First, I applaud the idealism and spirit of anyone who thinks this place is worth reviving. I so hope I'm wrong. People like me (the pragmatic naysayers) ruin the fun. That said, this place is a dump! No... really. I cut behind some buildings and it looked like an IED went off. And apparently the leaf blower is broken because no one could clean off a significant pile of wet leaves from the fall. Weird. Here's the problem: teens are bored by these rides. Adults will spend the time and money to go elsewhere. There's a reason the dozens of little parks dotted across the area have dried up, burned down, and blown away. The only real attraction is for parents of small kids. Because little kids don't care if the ride is boring - they're just thrilled with life. So Kiddie Land is worth the $15 wrist band just to allow your ADD psycho 3 year old to run around. Also... there's no fun lighting at night. Fairs and amusement parks are most charming at night. Here it's just a few bare fluorescent bulbs, maybe a flood light.a If the location were exceptional I could see saving this place. But it's not ON a lake, just near it. So definitely go if you have very little kids (2-5) but otherwise I honestly can't say there's enough charm or historical interest to make this worth your time or trouble. I would seriously just go to your local county fair - same if not better rides. And I truly hope I eat every one of these words in 5 years! read more

I've been going to this park since I was a kid, when you used to be able to drive through the park! I am now bringing my kids up to the park when we are in the area! They love it! For 2 young kids the park is the perfect size. The kiddie rides still look the same and are a blast! They couldn't wait to ride them all again! The price is $10, which to help keep this park going isn't a bad price! It's so nice to be able to walk around and ride the rides without hours wait time! We will be back again next year! read more

This park is in shambles. The rides are awful and falling apart! Attendants are rude and pay no mind to height requirements. My 5 year old was allowed to ride their falling apart coaster(I didnt know how bad until we got on) but she wasnt allowed to ride the kiddie sails boats even with an adult! Clean it up! read more

We took our kids here with my wife's niece as she treated for their upcoming birthdays. This is actually a "vintage" amusement park as it has been closed for some time and just reopened this year. The last time I was there is when I was about eight years old. It is a small park and was not crowded which was a plus. The downside is that they only have 90 percent of the rides in operation due to continued improvements. The only roller coaster is the Mean Streak of which is closed as well. The other rides are great for kids up to about 12 years old would be my guess. Any older, they may find the rides boring at least until all rides are in operation. The typical food is found here such as fair fries, funnel cakes and the like. The prices were a little below what you pay at a large amusement park. Now, we went on "tin can" Thursday. This is where each attendee brings two canned good items of which cuts the price for a ride wristband from $10 to $5. You ride everything, all day. There is also a small water park with separate fees of which we did not take advantage of this time. The water park hours are from 1PM to 7Pm with the rides going from 4PM to 9PM. Strange hours if you ask me. Great thing is that admission into the park itself is free! Truly a three star place but the enjoyment my kids got out of it and the old fashioned atmosphere bumped it up a star. read more

Remember that abandoned carnival in Nightmare on Elm St. 6? That's kind of what Conneaut is like. Brian H's review below pretty spot on. I would love to see this park remodeled and returned to glory, but to think that such a change is possible seems pretty unrealistic to me. There's simply not much to do there. A handful of admittedly classic rides, a portion of which were actually operating when I visited. The classic Blue Streak coaster is a great ride, though the give of the track makes me nervous. The Tumble Bug is a classic flat ride, one of only two remaining. The Devil's Den is a great dark ride, one of only two of its kind remaining. There's also a Music Express (not operating when I visited), a Tilt-a-Whirl (not operating when I visited), and a new dark attraction (not operating when I visited). But that's really it. Actually, a decent sized kiddie land if you've got wee ones. Didn't brave any of the food, though I did reluctantly get a fountain drink. The gift shop is a hoot - it feels like a garage sale. Totally random assortment of Dollar Tree-esque merchandise, and very little in the way of actual souvenirs to be found. Many of the midway stands (games/food) were closed. The midway itself is treacherous and in dire need of repaving. An interesting stop if you're passing through, but not worth making a trip for. I hope the park can turn itself around, but it's been trying to do that for over a decade with little success. With $800,000 owed in back taxes and dubious claims that ride safety reports were mismailed, very little about the park seems to be heading in the right direction. read more

We stopped here on our way to Ohio from Florida. We had a magical evening, it was like we traveled back in time. Our four year old loved Kiddie land, it was perfect for his age- nothing too scary or fast. The employees were so kind, I can tell they have pride in this aging attraction, and that kind of pride - these days-is about as rare as some of those vintage rides. We just may have to take the long way home and revisit Kiddie Land at Conneaut Lake! Let the pragmatic naysayers enjoy their world weary boredom. No it's no Kennywood but I don't think it's trying to be. A very nice place for a nice lake side trip. Hotel has some great historic views and the whole time we were at the park and in the hotel it felt like we are taking a trip back to the 1940s. Very cool nostalgic feel to the whole place. The amusement park has 8 to 10 rides and classic games and food and the waterpark has two slides I would guess about 4 stories high and the lazy river that is nice. Plus lake beach is right there also with nice warm water (July) . The hotel has a restaurant with good food and a full bar that is not expensive and open relatively late and there is a really cool beach bar also that is only open till 10 but a cool place to sit out in the evening and have a drink. Hotel rooms are dated but kept clean with good working air-conditioning Overall a great place for a weekend getaway for all ages (we went with a group of 12 with the youngest being in eighth grade and the oldest being 84 years old and everyone else in between) read more

So cool and retro! The old rides work and are really cute and a little creepy. It's never too crowded and the water slide is so fun!

We went for the 2017 fall pumpkin fest for the first time. We can't wait to go back this year!

I remember coming here when I was a kid. Very fun. Went to their haunted house which is called Ghost Lake. It started at 7 but got there at 5:30 and walked around. All the haunted attractions were scattered throughout the park and from the outside looked very cheesy. There's no signs pointing to where all the attractions are. We decided to leave 20 minutes later. I don't recommend this. read more

So many things I can say about Conneaut Lake Park. You really have to appreciate the history of this awesome place, so much to look at and learn. Im only 23 and I rode rides and played games at this park. It just needs some love and care. The hotel is absolutely amazing! Beautiful structure and history also. Im all the way from Michigan but our summer place is near Pymatuning Lake I cant visit our place without walking around Conneaut. Unfortunately the Bar that was on the water burnt down before I was able to drink I Really wish I could of experienced that. I hope one day they will put another fun bar there again.If you never been to this park you have to walk in with a good attitude and dont stick your nose in the air because this is a very sweet place. read more

Can't speak for the actual amusement park but the water park is a dump. The bathrooms/changing rooms were horrible and filthy. With 3 attractions, 2 of which my children could actually play in, the $10 admission was extremely overpriced as my kids were bored after an hour. Whenever I take friends to this park their first impression is disbelief. The park had been neglected for years before a couple of local people took over the Hotel Conneaut and beach front with another taking over the rides. When you get out of your car it is 1965 again. The rides are not beautiful but safe and Adams Amusements is doing a great job of restoring them one by one. The hotel has come a long way since Greg and Tracy, Steve and Joyce have taken over. They work tirelessly to improve the place and offer a great experience. Bottom line when my friends leave the place they say they had "so much fun". Hard to do at the big parks where you leave tired and down a few hundred bucks. Have a beer at the beach bar or at the hotel, picnic in the free pavilions or enjoy dinner at the Hotel or Beach clup or have a sandwich in the park, and no trip would be complete without park fries at the Beach club. Nice beach on a clean lake for swimming with the kids. If you go don't judge until the end of the day. Also lots to do around the lake so check it all out. read more
