My children are not big on rides so it was nice that we could enjoy the park without having to pay a lot to see what it offered. We came in the evening and walked around to check it out. We rode the bumper cars, carousel, and little kids coaster. If the weather was nicer we want to come back for the full day to enjoy the waterpark and rides. Food was decently priced with lots of choice through the park. You can also bring your own food and eat picnic style.

No complaints of a lot of rides in kiddie land as I have a 19 month old daughter that loved them. You can walk right into the park for free. You can buy a single ride ticket for $5 or ride all day for $10. When we were there Thursday there was a sale and the ride all day were $5. The water park looked new and in great shape. I didn't get to experience that part only the rides. There is direct beach access to a small beach that appeared well kept. They have a nice area for games, maybe about 5 or 6 but the other side is all closed up and looked sad. I will most likely be back but I do hope they make things look alittle nicer.

So in order to ride Ravine Flyer ll you must have one of the point cards as this coaster requires 4.5 credits for each rider to join in on the fun! The coaster starts off just like anyone other one with a short ride over the transfer track to the lift hill that provides a stunning view of Lake Erie just as your about to drop to head straight into the bridge that crosses the 4 lane state highway 832 right after you cross you do a good turn around and head back over the highway again for some more coaster action that's complete with a tunnel or two to keep things even more interesting! This really is up there with some of the best wooden coasters I've ridden across the country as you get a good amount of airtime throughout the entire ride it's super smooth for a wooden coaster and the fact you cross over a 4 lane highway is just awesome! Overall this is a great addition to Waldameer Park and a amazingly fun coaster for all ages to enjoy it will definitely be a pleasure when I get to come back here again to enjoy this super fun wooden coaster of epic Erie proportions!

I would drive down to Barangas (for a fancy meal) or the ice cream place (for a cheap meal) instead. We did the bumper cars, outdoor laser tag, and miniature golf at Adventure Village. They were OK. Nothing to write home about. Our 8-year old daughter did the rock climbing wall too. The mini golf course was pretty short and the holes were not that impressive. The bumper cars were actually pretty fun despite the small area. The laser tag course was pretty big and they tell you who "won" at the end. Tip: You win by having the most hits, not by not getting hit.

At Darien Lake, you actually get your money's worth. The coaster lineup is solid for a smaller park, with highlights being: Ride of Steel Tantrum Viper The Predator Plus lots of other fun rides scattered throughout the park. As for the waterpark, it was just okay this time. The Lazy River is fairly basic, and two of the more popular slides were running slowly, causing bottlenecks. Not sure why, but the water was freezing cold, especially on slides like Tornado, still a great ride, but would've been more enjoyable with slightly warmer water. Yes, the park is a bit dated in areas and could use some TLC, but despite that, Darien Lake continues to be a lovable and worthwhile spot. Whether you're going for nostalgia or just want a fun, full day without the chaos of bigger parks, this place still hits.

We were traveling with 2 elderly people and 2 toddlers so seeing the falls and exploring is limited. It reminded me of Soarin' Over California at Disney California Adventure, which is one of my favorite rides, so I had an idea of what to expect from the motion and ride style. However, the visuals and overall experience were even better than I expected. The ride gives a beautiful overview of Niagara Falls and the many attractions, landmarks, and scenic places visitors can explore. I honestly think this should be one of the first attractions tourists do when they arrive, because it gives you a great sense of what there is to see and can help you plan the rest of your trip. The immersive, multisensory experience made it feel exciting, beautiful, and memorable from beginning to end. The staff also made the experience even better. Everyone I encountered was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. From start to finish, the service was excellent. I still have more time left to explore Niagara Falls, but Niagara Takes Flight is definitely one of my favorite attractions here so far.
