The only gripe I have is, they recently updated a lot of the cardio equipment including the treadmills. These new treadmills are terrible to run on. They are causing me physical pain because it feels like you are running at a 1.5 slope when it says 0% grade. I've spoke with a few other gym goes and they concur. Hope this somehow gets to management so they can remedy this issue.

He finds a way to charge you for a months fee of $560 (fee for 2 sessions a week/month which are USE OR LOOSE). I cancelled my membership 4 hrs after the automatic payment and he will not refund me due to 'no refunds' in his contract. I paid for a month-services I never received. The Friday before I was to begin, I went to the emergency room for a medical issue related to my heart. I contacted the owner the next day let him know that I needed to see a specialist and would not be able to start the program. I told him that I could get him a letter from the physician. I also told him that I would like a refund. He told me that he could postpone my start date, or I could transfer my 6-week program to someone else who I know who may want to start this program. He said that these were my only 2 options. He also told me that Anytime Fitness is very strict with refunds, and they are the reason he is not able to refund my money. I contacted AF corporate. I was told that AF corporate does not handle billing or refunds, and there was nothing that they could do to help because all locations are individually owned. Jacob also questioned me about my heart condition and tried to advise me on what medications I may need to use. He also told me that my condition is usually not life-threatening although he is not a physician. I asked for a refund, I asked for my deposit to be transferred to another client and then he could refund me, I asked if I provided a letter from my doctor if I could get a refund. In the end, he said he would not give me a refund. Jacob eventually said "worst comes to worse, I can probably just give you 699 of my own money." I spoke with Jacob and AF corporate again. I informed Jacob that corporate told me they do nothing with refunds or billing and that he would have to be the one to give me my money back.
