When the tech was changing out the tires on the blowout side, he found damage to a valve related to the leveling system. He requested that we return to the shop to further evaluate the problem. He worked on our RV for hours, but resolved the situation so that we could safely continue on our trip. He was determined to correct the problem properly, and we appreciated his tenacity in following through until it was fixed. The company did not charge us any extra for the long hours they worked on this job, which surprised us. We were very pleased. Only wish this shop was closer to our home so we could use them whenever we needed service.

We were dreading spending the evening and half the following day getting towed to a tire store and replacing the tire, plus the logistics to get to our hotel and to the tire store. Fortunately, when we contacted the insurance to get roadside assistance, they needed to know where to tow it. That started a tire store search. In the search Waters Tire Shop advertised 24 hour service. We called and after asking about the tire size they said they would arrive in an hour and would call on the way. That allowed us to go get dinner while we waited. After an hour we were wrapping up dinner and they called. I left my wife to get the check while I walked back to the car. I don't know how much of this insurance will pay, but even if they don't cover any of it, it was worth it the saved hassle of a tow. The service team arrived with a tire and all the tools to replace it on the spot. 30 minutes later the tire was replaced and I was driving to the restaurant for my wife. All told the flat cost us less than 2 hours of lost time between locating a solution and getting it repaired. And we were able to stay on our travel plan. It was the smoothest flat tire experience ever. Since it was in the evening, the tire stores were closed, so the service team supplied us with a used tire. It has sufficient tread for us to finish our trip to NY and back to Florida. We will see if we need a new tire when we get home. I will definitely remember this and similar services for tire repairs on the road.

Did you know if you invest in the extended warranty and trade in before warranty expires, they will reimburse you for warranty years unused! Richard also encouraged me to double check my insurance to make sure I wasn't being charged for roadside assistance and rentals. Tom did a great job educating me about the services and coverages. However, as with most of us, when we are getting so much information at one time, we don't always remember or hear/retain it all. I had gotten a quote from my insurance company for my new Rav4. I didn't include roadside service but initially did get rental coverage. Richard encouraged me to reach out to my insurance company and cancel that. Well, while sitting in his office, I was able to get on my insurance app and change/cancel the rental. I saved $34.00 a month AND I pay less a month for a brand new Rav4 then I was paying for a paid off Jeep Wrangler! Win-Win!!! I95 Toyota has earned a rest of my life/live in the area, customer for life!

I am happy to say that the nice folks at Gerber Collison in Brunswick recommended Bob and his staff at Barnes Auto, in Brunswick. Years ago I had an older car towed to Bob. It needed a new fuel pump. I wasn't going to drop the gas tank on a gravel driveway. Bob called me up prior to replacing the pump. He informed me that the PCM (power control module, the main computer) was bad. And since that part wasn't available he suggested scraping the car. A Saturn station wagon with approximately 295,000 miles had served me well. Lots of other places would have been happy to charge me hundreds of dollars to replace the fuel pump and then call me with the bad news. I recommend Bob and his staff at Barnes Auto to anyone looking for an honest shop where INTEGRITY is more important than a making a quick dollar. Thank you very much Bob, Tammy and the techs in back.
