I have googled the top 10 attorneys for Medical Malpractice, Medical Battery, Civil Rights violation, and a few other things. After narrowing my search down, it has come down to less than three that have been able to say they are confident to handle, perhaps one or two of my legal lawsuits , however, not finding one attorney that can do all 4 to 5 of the different representation of Law I need. I am certainly OK with scouting out specific attorneys who only handle specific litigations. German, from Kampf, Schiavone & Associates reach reached out to me, and we had a lengthy conversation about my case at hand. He was very cordial, patient and professional and I appreciated that he took time to listen to my case, to take notes and ask for documents and info to be sent to his email address so that he could present my case to the firm. As I wait to hear from German today, I have been researching and reading the posts and reviews from past clients that have been represented by your firm, as well as area of law your firm practices. I've read nothing but great comments and reviews. I truly feel like I'm on the right path of who I would like to represent me and my voice and I hope your firm will support me and my cause, as I try to navigate a life-changing decision, that will leave me very limited to my mobility and could very easily cause me paralysis of my legs and be wheelchair bound forever. I have all the records you will need to move forward to prove that the assault and medical battery that was done to me at the Huntington Hospital in Pasadena on May 5, 2026, resulted in me having my spine bone broken. I'm facing life changing back surgery. At about this time last year, my fiancee and I were in an auto accident coming back from a friend's holiday party. I was driving and there weren't that many other people on the road close to Diamond Bar. What wound up happening was a mistake by another car that didn't see me. I went around a white Dodge truck and went to merge back into the lane I had just left. There was a grey Cadillac in the adjacent lane that hadn't moved. As soon as I merged back, the other car started to merge too. They couldn't see me because I was likely in their blind spot, but the driver merged without any blinker or signal. I tried to get out of the way but I couldn't and crashed into me. I lost control of my car and wound up hitting the guardrail. From the impact of the accident, I was left with a broken collarbone, dislocated shoulder, and a lingering headache that later turned out to be a mild concussion. The damage was too much to deal with immediately afterward, since it hurt to breathe and I could only effectively move my left arm at the time. An ambulance came and took me to the hospital in Pomona where they put my shoulder back in its socket, repaired my collarbone, and gave me a lot of pain meds. My fiancee only had cuts and bruises, thankfully, and she walked away without any real physical damage or lingering injuries. It took time, but I knew I needed to lawyer up for this. I knew the cost of the treatment was going to be expensive, so I looked for a car accident attorney in the Los Angeles area and came upon Daniel and the Law Group through a friend of mine. He was very helpful in everything he did. One of the first things he said to me was that he promised he would bring me everything I needed, and he meant it. He always kept me updated on the progress of the case and he didn't make any decisions without informing me first. People hire a workers' compensation attorney because they are already struggling with the workers' comp system and need someone to advocate for them, help them obtain medical care, and guide them through a process that is extremely difficult to navigate alone. Unfortunately, I do not feel that I have received that kind of representation. I signed with this firm approximately a year ago, and I honestly feel as though very little has changed. I have gone to multiple medical appointments where doctors have continued to document that I need further care, yet I am still fighting to obtain basic treatment. One of the most frustrating examples has been an MRI that was requested in June. It is now August, approaching September, and I still do not have the MRI completed. The scheduling process has involved One Call, and I continue to be offered locations more than an hour away from my home as though that is a reasonable solution. Meanwhile, I am still dealing with the same workers' compensation adjuster I had before hiring an attorney and many of the same problems obtaining care that caused me to seek representation in the first place. What has been even more disappointing is the lack of communication. At the beginning of July, I sent three lengthy and very important emails detailing concerns about my case and asking specific questions that I needed my attorneys to explain. Those emails contained information that was extremely important to me. I did not receive substantive answers to those questions. As a client, that leaves me feeling ignored and unsupported. When you are injured, in pain, trying to obtain medical treatment, and depending on your attorneys to help you navigate workers' compensation, communication should not feel like another battle. My personal injury attorney recommended this firm, and that recommendation was a major reason I decided to sign with them. Had I found them on my own and known beforehand what my experience would be, I would have made a different decision. At this point, I genuinely regret choosing this firm. I was in a very difficult situation, I explained everything I was going through, and at first they treated me like I truly mattered. They made me feel like my case was important and that they were going to help me right away. But once I signed up, everything changed. After that, I felt like I was just another number. The care, urgency, and attention they promised disappeared. I made it very clear from the beginning that I needed medical treatment as soon as possible because of my injuries, and they assured me they would connect me with a doctor right away. I get it's a law firm and their busy but it is my opinion that he handled my case extremely unprofessional. I had to contact certain adjusters to see what was going on with my disability paperwork and top it off the doctor he referred me to messed up my disability paper work and did not inform I was to be off work 5 months after . Complete mess and a headache. I ended up switching firms.
