This law group is outstanding and very professional. They work well with their clients and get down to the nitty gritty!

One being a Federal Government lawsuit against the VA for fraud, and the other being a legal malpractice lawsuit against our previous attorney for fraud. I was told that Mr. Doug Smith handles all of his intakes personally and he would call me directly. After the third week of no response, I made my third and final call to his law group. Again, I was told that he was out of his office and I could leave a voicemail. I told his receptionist that I had previously left messages for a call without any kind of response. She then told me that if I do not receive a callback from Mr. Smith then he either is too busy to take the case or doesn't feel that he can make any money for himself so he doesn't have the respect for the potential client to even speak directly with! I will be letting the state bar know how he handles potential clients and their valuable cases and time! I rate his law group with one star and would rate him with zero if possible! This is extremely poor business practice! Especially for an attorney who is supposed to be for Veterans rights! You lost a couple of great cases, Mr. Smith! I will provide you with the recoveries when they are established! I strongly believe that they are both major lawsuit's!

The lead attorney Smith is one of the rudest and classless men I have ever met. His secretary that…read moresits the closest to his desk is absolutely no better. I was there to drop off a key and pick up a check. There have been emails sent prior (his attitude/tone was no better in the emails than it was in person) so he and his secretaries knew I would be coming. After I dropped off the keys the receptionist dangled the check in the air saying "I have her check" and when I went to grab it pulled it away and rudely asked "who are you". I don't mind that she had to verify my identity (even though she was well aware of who I was and why I was there) but there was no need to be hostile and rude towards someone who honestly had nothing to do with the bigger situation. The whole time Smith is in his glass office with his door open and less than 10 ft away from what was going on. After his receptionist siked me out of the check she gets up to go ask him if she can give me the check. He starts talking in a loud tone telling her to not give me anything unless I dropped off the keys. He was so bent out of shape about this that the receptionist had to tell him multiple times that I already did. When he finally calmed down enough he told her to give me the check and in the spirit of transparency, I snatched the check from the lady and walked out. I don't know how their service is as a law firm but if you can't treat an innocent 3rd party (who was doing them a favor) w proper customer service or a positive disposition then I can only imagine how they do their clients.
